The stock exhaust sounded better than I expected, but the titanium is 🔥 🔥
Has aftermarket DP which definitely sounds better but RK looks better

Other people that have gone to a valved exhaust have mentioned having to “clock” the valves through a process to ensure they aren’t misaligned with the motors.
Could potentially be the issue in Sport mode where one valve may not be clocked correctly and is staying closed.

I've got to say, I've been binge-watching your content for the past 3 months, completely absorbed by the incredible work you guys do and how funny yall are. I just want the comparison of this is louder than the RK dual signature??? I’m debating between the 2..Tomei Dual is definitely loud too but not sure how it compares to this
The valves street exhaust will be quieter in normal mode than the dual signature, but louder in sport (because it bypasses the mufflers)
@bfiremitch thanks for the info bro..just curious did you by chance have personally heard both side by side or was it more base on the data given by RK?
Just an educated guess. They use they same mufflers for both designs, so one has to go through the double stack, the other has in-line pipes and one muffler per side so more flow and less sound energy loss@@MikeJ75
I have heard both next to each other on similar setups. I personally think the Tomie dual sounds better. To caveat this, I personally prefer louder throaty exhausts and I do not mind the drone. I don't listen to the stereo as the sound of the car is my symphony. But I personally like the look of the RK better just because of all the cool little details they offer and I like the colorful exhaust. Now in terms of build quality. I think they are both equal. But it is cool that the RK is made in Murica (yes I know the car isn't domestic). A lot of this is really just personal preference, but that is my take.

I'm guessing?? It's hard to tell, but it appears they had the valve reversed as in it was open when in normal, and closed in sport.
I LOVE RK products, but BoostLogic is right there with this. I wouldn't put BoostLogic or RK above each other. They are in a league of their own when it comes to titanium exhaust for the a90 platform for sure.

I hope you guys fixed the exhaust valve. In normal mode, the valve is closed and only exit out the driver's side or one side of the exhaust. Here you have it open on both sides in normal mode and closed on one side in sport mode. I think ya need to do an updated video to really showcase RK valved exhaust system..
This isn't like the stock setup. With this particular exhaust the valve blocks off a straight-through muffler bypass on the passenger side. With the valve closed it will go through the mufflers and out both exits equally. With the valve open, it will almost all flows out the passenger side
@@bfiremitch Either way, they need to clock the valves on the exhaust because in sport mode its supposed to be fully open, not closed like it is in the video.
It is open in sport mode in this video. Otherwise the visible exhaust smoke wouldn't be coming out of the right side with almost all of the flow...because thats what the valve opens, a straight pipe to the right side@@teamscoobydoo

Does a high flow catted downpipe affect turbo spool or anything important like that? I’m thinking about getting the Akrapovic DP but I’m afraid it might throw a CEL or cause damage or void warranty…

Akrapovic full titanium exhaust is also $4K so this is a hard sell.
Actually, I believe that’s just the axleback part that is titanium & $4k. Their midpipe & downpipe are stainless steel & another few grand. I think the total cost of a full Akra is $8-$9k but totally worth it.
One of the valves are definitely staying closed. You think they would sell a 4k exhaust setup that flows like that??? LMAO
I really like the exhaust, but at $4k there is absolutely no excuse for not having ALL the necessary hardware included or no mention in the supplied instructions about having to omit parts. That just not acceptable to me. It needs to be precise and complete on the first go

Crazy stupid flow when valve is closed (3 pure 90 degree, no bends.), and when its open? Its just a single pipe, nothing is gonna flow to thru the other pipe you can even see it in the video… I would never have bought that setup. You can get som crazy backpressure when valve is closed and your flooring it. And the cold revs is just icing on the cake.
