Both are great. I actually have both Turok HD Remastered games on PC through Steam and have those set up with the PC soundtracks, while on Switch I have them set to the N64 soundtracks
The new Turok had nothing to do with any of the classic series... I hated how they would just cut the series off like that. However, despite the disconnection, I still love the work they put into it. Even though they chopped it off from the original story line and altered it, they still kept Turok's characteristics and maintained his killer approach to any threat. I was saddened when I heard that they stopped midway into the project for the sequal. If there will ever be another Turok within the near future, better believe I will be reserving it.
Disney's Turok 2 was actually going to have a ton of references to the original games and was rumored to tie them together. Too bad everyone at Propaganda got pissed off and left.
there's still hope, all we need are Iguana Studios; the original studio behind the Turok games to partner up with Touchstone , have'em work together collaboratively to make an all-new Turok sequel that ties the previous remake with the actual Turok game universe. like for example, Turok, Slade & Shepard get pulled into the Lost Land by a dimensional rift...and after fending off a flock of Raptors, Joseph is greeted by an old friend...Adon.
+Isaiah Montelongo Nope, I agree! But there is a part missing in this version, where the N64 version still went on for a bit before it looped and I ask: WHY??
@Alieneater1239 That's just for the picture, i used to note this kind of things when i was a kid and i didnt like em cuz i wanted to have what they showed on the front of the game etc but now i noticed that is just with cosmetic ends.
Both versions have their charm, but hands-down the drum solo around the 4 minute mark is what makes this version. I prefer LISTENING to this version as a song, but prefer the N64 version when playing the game. (N64 version has a more distant reverb to it that better suits the look and feel of the level.)
@AliasHomemadeSpy I WAS refering to TUROK 2: Seeds of Evil. I Play the 64 version all the time. The Port of Adia PC version sounds different in pitch, and tone, though the tune is the same. My favorite Turok game would be TUROK: DINOSAUR HUNTER on the N64.
@Alieneater1239 it does not have a "pistol grip" it is some sort of mp40 that is as big as a SAW with an assault rifle clip and only a trigger guard. [bullshitting] it is the cut weapon of the game, the P.W.N-L33T, but it was cut because it caused severe cranial damage to testers, in that it made there heads EXPLODE with awesomeness. [/bullshitting]
I'll admit that the original Turok storylines got lopsided when they were introduced in the '90s, but seriously, for a game wayyyy ahead of its time: Isn't Turok 2 just one of the best games ever created????
Alieneater1239 its actually an M60 but strangely added with clip instead of chain but never the less this weapon was indefinitely not in the game WHY NOT?
Wanna hear something truly epic? Watch this! Live orchestral version of this song, truly amazing to hear and it makes you feel bad-ass! Turok 2: The Seeds of Evil Suite for Orchestra It really makes me feel so awesome! xD
That frame rate too. After playing the HD Remastered version, I couldn’t go back to the original, I tried. It was sooooo slow by comparison to the touched up version from NightDive Studios. God I hope they remaster the other N64 era Turok games.
2 dislikes? Primagen and Oblivion.
Primogen
Both versions are amazing...why is everything a competition!
Finally someone who fucking gets it. I alternate between the two versions, both are awesome.
This one is better ,-)
Because this is how the world works...

What a highly underrated track!
no, actually, this sounds a lot better than the 64 version :)
not better. Different. Both are great. I like the N64 verion more
I wanna play this on every first person shooter! Epicness
This was one of the best games on the n64 imo the only issue i had with this game was that the frame rate would slow down constantly
The Dark Derp this game was Amazon for the n64
It was bloody hard tho' from level 4 onward.
THIS is why you're my favorite, you include the ending.
O M G!!!!! AMAZING!!!! TUROK IS WHAT GOT ME INTO THE GAME WORLD!!!!! LOVE THE MUSIC!!!!!
Preety cool pic , heavy machine gun and some arrows all in one big dude, also the green filter works well.
The new Turok was really dumb but I really enjoyed it. I had a lot of fun actually. Nothing like SoE though.
I'll be the first one to say I like this version of the soundtrack alot better than the N64 version.
+Isaiah Montelongo Nope, I agree! But there is a part missing in this version, where the N64 version still went on for a bit before it looped and I ask: WHY??
That piano metal part was insane.
This game is my favorite! Like IT so much

WOAAAAHH!! This is the full version of the track! *O*!

@Alieneater1239 That's just for the picture, i used to note this kind of things when i was a kid and i didnt like em cuz i wanted to have what they showed on the front of the game etc but now i noticed that is just with cosmetic ends.

The Cerebral Bore is probably the most GRUESOME weapon in the history of gaming!
Great song
This is definetly the best music on Turok 2! PC version is even better than the original version!

great piece of game music! :)
Beware, Oblivion is at Hand
Nope, this was the song that played during just the first level of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil.
THIS IS SO FUCKING ADDICTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hmm, I didn't know this version had the original theme. Pretty cool
This version best
Lol you fooled me into thinking the Port of Adia was in that crappy Turok game. Turok 2 is so beast.. Imma go play it right now :)
I'll admit that the original Turok storylines got lopsided when they were introduced in the '90s, but seriously, for a game wayyyy ahead of its time:

He was talking about the 2008 sequel.

GREAT Music!!! nice man ;]
Why the wrong cover? Its like putting an ACDC song with a Zepplin cover
@Alieneater1239 the closest thing would be the bfg in doom... o wait
The PC Version had very different sounding... sounds.
@ostercvanja I'm just gonna leave a disagreement at saying the original and remake of this song are both good equally
Think he meant Turok 2: Seeds of Evil
Wanna hear something truly epic? Watch this! Live orchestral version of this song, truly amazing to hear and it makes you feel bad-ass!
Turok 2: The Seeds of Evil Suite for Orchestra
It really makes me feel so awesome! xD
I AM TUROK! :3
Epic fucking game!
