It took him a while, but Jim brought this program out of the cellar and created a culture of togetherness and playing for one another. The result is a competitive team at the top tier of the sport, where Ohio State has been for decades. The Game is a lot more fun when both teams are good and healthy.

We were on hard times and Jim had been there 5 years. Lost to Mel Tucker 2 weeks into a contract @ MSU with terrible QB. Got routed by Michael Penix Jr. at Indiana. The wheels had come off the wagon. He put them back on and we are rolling. We love Jim and have known him since 70's but We love Michigan more. Now we cherish them both as a State Treasure. GO BLUE
