    Awesome stuff, love it! From a safety perspective consider getting a smaller knife when doing wood shavings. You’ll have more control over the knife, easier to sharpen, and it reduces the chance of getting hurt. You do you though, just a general concern haha.

    • @BardsCraft
      @BardsCraft  5 ปีที่แล้ว +15

      I have more control of the sword!
      I appreciate the concern, and anyone who tries something similar should think of safety first.

      @@Carpetcleanerman You're probably not into miniature painting then. An exacto knife wound is easily glued up with super glue, though.

    Hotel key cards are a really good source of sturdy plastic. If you ask politely, the front desk people will give you some. I always keep a stack of those in my tool box for blades and other thin things I want made of something sturdier than card stock.

    Great work, man.
    If you want to save time for your basing, make a textured paint mix; Basing material, non-diluted PVA, Paint.
    Keep it in an airtight tub (absent water, which may cause mould if not ionised).
    Then simply paint it strait onto your bases for a much faster process.
    I like how you use easily attainable materials, I did the same with my Warpstone tokens video (using green seaglass) for Mordheim: th-cam.com/video/cIyKUE5Mqe0/w-d-xo.html

    • @BardsCraft
      @BardsCraft  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I might, try some kind of homemade texture paint. Quickly skipped through the video, looks good with the tea. Btw if you want to do more videos, you should really consider upping the quality by editing, different camera angles, voice-over etc. It makes a exponentially huge difference. That is, if you want to take TH-cam seriously. You have some good simple crafts :) Growth is always exponential.
