For Accolades the traits they get is based off their personality and ideas. The best attributes was ur second knoghts. Since he gas valiant which gives army damage for they enitre army he is a part pf and he gives a special type of unit which is the light cavalry. Keep in mind these aren't the only attributes. There are other knights who offer special armored guards or crossbowmen and others.
I also forgot to mention sorry 😅
Ur son cyrus is a far better choice to make ur heir and get him a better marrige the reason why is ur life u spent fighting the hords with the sword however gold will allow u to develop ur lands at such a speed and strong pace that by the time u decide to retake Crimea ur army would have tripled in size due to the money used to grow them. Cyrus us by far the best candidate to be hier

Yes, I indeed, Cyrus is better from stat perspective, but Michael embodies the spirit of the dynasty better and would have been favoured by Demetrius as a fellow martial-oriented character…

Hello, you can station any men-at-arms in a barony. So you could place the ‘Akrites’ in Chersonesus :)
Pour la gloire de la Maison Sebastopoulos !

D'accord! :) But can I station two different "regiments" of men at arms in the same barony? I don't think so. That's what I was wondering - if I build two buildings that individually give bonuses to different types of troops, can I then station two different men at arms in that barony? I don't think so, right?

I commented on this two episodes ago station is a holding level effect, not county level. Troop effects are by holding and you can place troops by holdings. If your faith allows it you can place them even in temples.

A Barony is a single castle or holding, like a temple. A county contains one or more holdings. Every place you can build a building is a separate holding.
Your characters holds two holdings specifically castles in a single county. The county is held by the ruler who holds the capital holding if that's a castle it a regular county. A character above a baron can only hold castles I counties they control, but if they hold them they have full control over them including building buildings and placing units. As you have two holdings you can station two units because that is a holding level function.

If you got an event you build a castle you could have three holding, but because of the building balance rule if you build the third holding up it has to be something you don't yet have, so a temple or a city. You can't hold cities, and due to your faith rules you cannot hold temples either.

@immersioneer You can't station two different "regiments" of men-at-arms in the same barony.
Building 2 types of building giving bonuses (exemple : one for cavalry and the other for pikemen) is therefore pointless.
The best thing to do is to specialise a barony for a type of regiment, which is how you can create powerful units.
For more details about holdings and baronies, I invite you to read the comments of @Huntanor.
