For me the trap is I have been a professional software developer for 15 years now and to make the same amount of money that I make through 2 simultaneous jobs right now from a business would be a serious achievement. I will try but I'm just trying to say the sooner you realize it the easier it will be to switch over.
Thanks for sharing! Sounds like a great goal. The cool thing about business though is the amount you make is not limited by hours in the day or you capacity to do them. I feel like it is more about allowing the money to flow by doing things that are in alignment with you and helping others. Do you have any ideas of the business you might like to do?
@@Cubicle_Free The scaling argument is what really speaks to me. I have several ideas, some around entertainment (games), one idea of a programming e-learning platfrom and one about affiliate marketing. But the last one is not something I am passionate about and I fear I would abandon the project sooner or later.
Very cool. As a coder you have an incredible advantage. I have had to hire my coders and it is one of the most challenging things. I currently do affiliate marketing but if you're not passionate about it I agree. Being an affiliate is just the way you get paid though and it is really the subject matter that is important. Games and E-learning are two of the most scalable with huge markets.
Forgot to ask in the video, where are you at in your journey to escape the rat race?
