It's a hard song to listen to yet it's uplifting in its own special way. A very, very personal song that I think you would have to be a rock not to take something from. That all said I love it.

Its a beautiful song. Taylors Grandma was Marjorie Finley, an opera singer & her vocals were actually spliced in at the end. This is really amazing as Taylor sorta took up the mantle of being a professional singer when she references 'closets of backlogged dreams' (but as far as I know marjorie didnt do a John snow get brought back to life like you may be imagining😂). Although there very specific details in the song, it still has the ability to resonate with anyone who has lost someone, & thats the beauty of Taylors writing skills. Its a heartbreaking song whilst still showing in a very literal way that those we lose are carried with us always ❤ Great reaction xx

I lost my mom when I was 11 (I’m 21 now) , so I honestly rarely listen to this song because it brings up too many emotions I’d rather not think about but it is such a beautiful tribute song to her grandmother.

One of my favorite songs of Taylor's. You mentioned horror, have you watched The Haunting of Hill House? A very different kind of horror as it's not scary so much as it is beautifully tragic but it's my second favorite series. So well-written and I never tire of rewatching it.
Oh I love The Haunting of the Hill House! What a perfect psychological horror! I also love Bly Manor but it's more Shakespearean! Anything Mike Flanagan makes is a gem!!

This song is always a tough one, reminds me of my grandma.
A music video you should react to is called "The Best Day (Taylor's Version)". It has some home video similar to this, and the song is a tribute to her mom (as well as her dad and brother, but its mostly towards her mom as they are very close). Both the song and music video are great, and its a happier tone. Show's the kind of life she had growing up, and it's pretty cool.
