Seriously, I think Mr. Hess should have his own channel !!! A true New Yorker and he’s the real deal. He knew from the beginning Elvis was special and I’m so envious that I’m my life I’ll never get to meet Elvis or truly see him live in Concert. Please follow up on his thoughts. Great great stuff. Thank You.
Thank you so much for these stories. Please give your dad a big hug from a Australian fan. We kept get news articles that Elvis is coming to Australia. My your dad keep good health.
I have something in common with your dad. I saw Elvis for the first time 8 days later in Charlotte, Aptil 13th. I concur with everything your dad says about Elvis and the show.
Wow, I could listen to him talk about Elvis all day. His passion is so infectious. The memories are worth far more than the cutting room footage but I understand the need and want for it. The scarves behind him are beautiful. I hope you have all of that under lock and key and well protected. I’ll be tuning in more often because those who experienced the King are those who have the keys to sharing his legacy with the younger generations. Even in his hardest times, he remembered where he came from and straightened his crown. 👑
I saw Elvis on 4/15/72 in Macon, GA for the first time and had the same feelings as your dad. Elvis came bounding up the steps from the back of the stage , the lights hit him wearing a white jumpsuit. He was tall and lean and so handsome. I never dreamed I would see him in person so not a day I will ever forget. Your dad is great!
Ed your dad's enthusiasm and love for Elvis is a pure joy to listen to. I wish EPE and Warner Bros could see that there are fans like your dad 80 years old still waiting for all of EOT material. Let's hope for your dad they listen
Your dad is a sweetheart! We're keeping Elvis alive in my household. My teenagers love his music (and my daughter is named Presley). Long live the King!
Always great to hear your Dad’s memories and please wish him all the best for his 80th birthday. It is so frustrating that for fans like your dad who 😢may never see the footage and some collectors are holding them and keeping them from the fans. Elvis is for everyone and he deserves to be shared. Money is what it is all down to and the price of the set is quite high too. Thanks for the video Ed.
So good Ed to listen to your dear Dad talking about his memories of the 72 tour. It would be great if he has a regular spot giving his views on his favourite Elvis songs, albums and performances as well as his own memories of meeting Elvis.
It’s a pleasure to listen to the living memories from your Dad! He IS in so good shape! He is blessed with health, memories and the love of his family! Listen to your Daddy is like opening a window in the past. Thank you very much for sharing this with us. And all the power for your loving Dad ❤😊😊😊
Ed listening to your dad is fascinating. They always say you cannot appreciate how great and how handsome Elvis was until you see him close up and not in pictures. Your dad sums it all up.
I'm Lisa's age. I would have given anything to see him. And those scarves behind you, WOW, just wow. You are blessed to have seen him so many times and have things he actually touched :(
According to the UK Update album charts, the new box set is going to debut at #43, at least in the UK. My main problem is that it is hard to get excited over stuff we've already heard, to justify purchasing it over again. I also get turned off by the cheap paper packaging. Your father admits that it wasn't worth waiting fifty years for, and I agree. I have to make wise decisions on what I buy nowadays because my life and priorities have changed in the years after my marriage. I am definitely not going to feel bad skipping this release because I have plenty of Elvis in my collection to listen to. However, I am glad to see that it is briefly appearing on the sales charts in 2023.
My mom almost got to see Elvis when he came to Albuquerque in 1972 but a family emergency came up and she never got the chance again. I know she would love your channel like I do.sorry for such a long message.
Mr. Ed. Thank you for sharing your Dad with us! Just awesome! What a Great Father! 😃😀😄We did a “lot of Touring!” “I took my Edgar with us!” Just Love It!
I love listening your dad, about seeing Elvis on stage and all those beautiful memories that he is sharing with us. I wish him many more happy and healthy years. 😊
So nice to hear your dad talk about Elvis Presley he must have lots of memories of Elvis I wich we could go back in time I would love to have Sean Elvis live
Gotta luv your dad....tell it like it is...or was....cherish the time with this generation of fans....especially family and friends!....look forward to more of your parents...keep em coming....cheers!
Your Dad has Valid points there!, They would make that Money Back in no time,as far as editing the Footage,Baz is the man for that and his team,I think They are waiting until the Oscar’s are over to do those projects if they are going to do that
Hi Ed 🌞of course we agree with you dad 100% in all he was to say 🤝. Happy Birthday 🙏🌺🍰💐 Ed's dad, have a nice day 🙏. Thanks for sharing all memory of Elvis 🙏⭐.
Hi Ed ♥ I love this video, your Dad is a little treasure. He has some wonderful stories, bless his heart. Thank you Ed and please thank your Dad for doing this for us, he's a superstar. Thank you Ed xxx 💝
Great stories from your father Ed..I very much enjoyed sitting on your couch listening to him..Wonderful buddy.Never knew Diskin and Bonja were related..Fascinating that the Elvis world was pretty tight knit within Parkers grasp
It is so cool and nice to get to see and hear your father talk about seeing ELVIS live for the first time in 1972 almost 53 years ago wow. And hearing the storys about being a fan from the very beginning all the way back to the Sun years, just blows me away. Your dad is a real treasure God bless him. Thank you ED for sharing him with us, please have him on more , a live chat would be a real treat thanks again for a great video.
I love your dad and his Buffalo story. And his being a fan since the beginning of Elvis's career is another one of those things about Elvis that is amazing. A lot of it is because of the person he was. Not many entertainers 45yrs after death and no chance to see him or new music/movie have kept such long lasting fans. Whoever has authority to approve vaulted material to be released should listen to people like him and his perspective because he's been there from the beginning and loyal to the person some are still making a living. Your dad is part of the reason why that's possible. This would be the perfect time because of the new fans coming from the movie it's would be smart to have a totally new one for every fan. It seems doubtful when you see what incompetence and disrespect they showed with simple things like leaving Ronnie Tutt's name off the list of musicians. Elvis had 2 main drummers and it's not 1954 or Elvis had so many drummers they weren't sure who was on that tour. I have to learn how to edit the length of my comments. I hope there's room for more. Good video
I really love your dad’s insight and memories of seeing first time Elvis. I can’t express the gratitude and joy just hearing his story. I am hoping he will get to see those footages during his life time. Happy Belated Birthday as well to your Dad!! I see we all share as well our birthdays in January 🤗🙌 God Bless your dad and your family Ed. Stay well and safe my good friend! 😌🙏🙌🙌👍🏻😌
Wow your dad is such an interesting guy. Love hearing those Elvis stories from someone who was actually there. You are such a lucky guy Ed to have a dad like you have. People often say Elvis was even more handsome, and fantastic in real life, and your father is no exception. Give him my best wishes, thanks for the video Ed👍
Your dad is a top man. I agree with your disappointment re not getting the footage. 50 years for an official release was too long a lot of us had these concerts on bootleg so when this set comes out there are no surprises and there's a lot of repetitive content re the songs. If the box set had come out 25 years earlier it would have been very exciting and very welcome but now they are flogging a dead horse.
So Ed that's how you'll be when you grow up!😅 Great video! Hope to see more of your dad & hear his stories. Really entertaining. Would like to hear how he started the King's court.
I agree with your father I remember watching Elvis on Troy he came out with sunglasses upside down joking and cutting up let's cut that out I don't know why and joker and cutting up in the car about talking about the launch of the space shuttle rocket going off or whatever you want to call it and I don't know why they cut that out
Half arsed. Exactly! Probably waiting to squeeze more out of Elvis at the time. Jerry Schilling helped edit that film, too bad he doesn't step up. I'm sure they felt there was plenty of Elvis to go around at the time.
And the rest is history....love love love your parents...their stories are irreplaceable and sacred....I appreciate it so much when you share it with us. Memories and stories like this are priceless and so rare especially today... And couldn't agree more about the Buffalo show...Much love and appreciation to your Mom and Dad.....Thank you. ❤️ TLC always
April 5th is very interesting is because 1.The complete show was filmed with 1 camera and a u matic tape recorder front row and a few seconds of this is seen in the movie 2.another camera was behind the orchestra filming 3.another camera was set up by the directors on a tripod that filmed the whole show in black and white as a reference this footage was auctioned not that long ago. 4.I believe the soundboard recording is missing it was recorded no question 5.I love what your father says about Elvis On Tour took the words right out of my mouth ! in closing when the movie This Is Elvis was made some interesting things were found
Cool - I think you should just set the camera up and let your dad go… obviously an honest and passionate guy! Would love to hear more. Just one thing Ed - get a little tripod stand for your camera 😂 you could probably pick an extendable one up for $10 👍
I love listening to your dad's memories of Elvis. They could have included that interview he gave with the directors of the movie. It's a decent box-set but it could have been so much better.
Kinda reminds me of my Elvis concert experience in 1976. Went down to Seattle from Vancouver Canada to get tickets. Stood in line all night. Then I took a bus tour down to Portland and Eugene Oregon for 2 more shows. Happy Birthday!!!
Hello Ed thank you for such a wonderful video I absolutely love your dad being from the UK I love his pure New York accent such a nice man. Love from the UK my friend 🇬🇧 ❤
Hey Ed Great Video , Love Your Dad,s insight for sure👍👍👍yes that was back in the day when you had to hold your position in line and get tickets , i think ordering on line click click click took some of the fun and excitement for a Rock Concert 🎹🎼🎶🎵theres alot of unreleased stuff of Elvis that should have been released already by now whats holding it up ? who knows but maybe this Elvis on Tour is just the beginning , hopefully more to Come 🎸🎸🎼🎶🎙🎸🎷🎤📀by releasing this Elvis on Tour , this is a Happening in its self , its like John Lennon i know yoko has alot of unleased stuff but all she seems to be releasing lately is Greatest hits collections take care Rock on 🎸🎵🎶Peace✌✌
Ed. Your dad’s absolutely. RIGHT. The footage that’s. There. That’s what we’re waiting 4. Don’t brush it off. There’s nothing else left. Father is. Wise. What did he think about. The movie. THE. UNSEEN FOOTAGE. Not the same songs packaged a different way. Over. Over. Get dad back on here. Canada.
God bless you sir! Pleasure listening to your experiences! Long live the King of Rock and Roll! ❤
ED, Love your Dad's stories. I'm a 75-year-old in Cupertino, Ca. Some of us would love is most favorite moments since 1957. Great Job
Thank You.
It must have been so much fun growing up with parents who had such a passion for music and Elvis. I can see how they spread their love.
Wouldn’t trade it for anything. 👍
Thank you so much for these stories. Please give your dad a big hug from a Australian fan. We kept get news articles that Elvis is coming to Australia. My your dad keep good health.
This was great! I’m a younger Elvis fan. I’ve been trying to collect everything both audio & video. To see someone who actually met the man. Priceless
I have something in common with your dad. I saw Elvis for the first time 8 days later in Charlotte, Aptil 13th. I concur with everything your dad says about Elvis and the show.

Dad Knows Best. "Money is no good unless you can spend it and get something for it. Hoarding it ain't good, trust me". I agree 1000%! 👍
🤣👍
Great to see your cool dad and we feel the frustration of not getting the extra footage.
I saw Elvis on 4/15/72 in Macon, GA for the first time and had the same feelings as your dad. Elvis came bounding up the steps from the back of the stage , the lights hit him wearing a white jumpsuit. He was tall and lean and so handsome. I may get with some of my youtube people and just start a calling in at graceland and requesting that this be done for all us fans period
Your dad is awesome Ed! It's a pure joy listening to him tell his Elvis memories.
Love this!! Ed, your mannerisms and voice are just like your Dad! God bless him! Awesome video!!
At this point in time I think we're all a little Presleyed Out , I think They'all should Rest in Peace at this point Enough is Enough

Ed, I still have the magazines your parents contributed to in the 70s. I also have an original "The King's Court" button. So glad he's doing well.
April 5th is very interesting is because
1.The complete show was filmed with 1 camera and a u matic tape recorder front row and a few seconds of this is seen in the movie

awesome insight from your dad on Elvis, great to hear all the memories
It’s all for us collectors who are hooked. It’s legal drugs that can’t kill us but you can get a good high.
Thank you for sharing :) & happy Birthday !

Baz Lerman is supposed to be working on the TTWII and On Tour lost footage at some point. He claims he has access to it.
Happy belated birthday to Richie! The Buffalo video tape sold for $110,000 not including premiums. It is in the hands of a private collector/fan.
