Thank you for your excellent Elvis Presley history videos. In this video number 12 Knoxville, I believe the light guy is Lamar Fike. Also, have you made a video of Elvis in MSG 1972 and press conference at the NY Hilton? Elvis also played Nassau Coliseum in NY, but it was torn down a few years ago. Elvis played Nassau Coliseum more times than MSG.
You 2 guys are funny and Elvis Presley is a legend. Love diners and restaurants like I'm sure you do. Keep up your great work.. Elvis Presley forever ♥ from a younger generation.
Love Love Love 💙this On Tour 72 breakdown of some of the little and unknown details and great idea for the "Elvis Diner"! Looking forward to many more! Thank you!
Hi guys, just watched the video after missing the bulk of the live stream. Excellent content and revealing facts… really enjoyed both the set up and topic. 👍🏼👍🏼🙏
Great job on your first Elvis Diner broadcast! You really did your homework on dissecting the Elvis On Tour, frame by frame!! Thanks for sharing all this interesting info! Looking forward to what you'll be talking about in the next episode!!
The Jacksonville filming was documented by Globetrotting with Trey. It is very detailed, you might want to check that out. Anyhow, loved the dinner, keep it up!
In "Elvis on tour out takes #4" video here in TH-cam (about in time 25:05), there is footage of Elvis singing Proud Mary in Detroit (Elvis has White Pinwheel on and band members has light blue suits on). And he is so energetic in the clip. So I think that they have filmed a lot more in Detroit
Right and also there is the short scene in Elvis On Tour right after the San Antonio portion when Elvis goes back to the limo that’s also from Detroit I believe
Really great insight and investigation into the scenes! Job well done. I was surprised thought that you didn't reveal the scene prior to I Got A Woman where Elvis walks towards the edge of the stage and there's red floor lights at the edge of the stage. It can't be Hampton Roads because we clearly see no floor lights during that concert performance. Do you know where that part was filmed? Was it Buffalo? Also, if I could pick a show that we don't know of being filmed it would be the Jacksonville concert where he wore the white and gold pyramid suit. That's among my favorite suits that he ever wore. I wish someone would ask Baz if all the shows were filmed and if he'll get to release any of them. It makes no sense for WB to keep sitting on that footage that they know fans badly want.
At the start of the movie when Elvis is walkng down the hall beside red walls, that is Macon correct? I saw the Macon afternoon show and remember everything being red inside.
That is possible. There is footage of Elvis backstage heading to the stage where everything is red, that was Detroit. Not sure if that’s what you may have been thinking of. Also not sure what the insides of Macon looked like in the 70’s
@@epbackontour Yes, it's probably Macon. We do have the outtake that comes right before that moment where Elvis is talking about the first live version of Burning Love where the band forgot the ending they had planned beforehand. Elvis says "the other night", probably referring to the Greensboro concert one night before Macon. And Elvis' hairdo style is completely different from San Antonio that we see on screen starting when Elvis comes on stage
