Is there a tutorial anywhere for this app? I don't understand why programmers spend years developing apps but then don't bother telling anyone how to use them?

I use this software only to mark and cull large amount of photos...How do I know who many I have after I sort them in let say Excellent when I have more than 500 images culled....
There is no indication on the software I can see or is that a hidden function....??
