I'm sure it is pretty hard to get very many usable perishables in this early summer heat wave we East Coast folks are having. Sunday it was about 97 here in Va with high humidity but today was gorgeous! Only 79 and low humidity. Thanks for the beautiful scenes along the river.😊

If you garden take all that milk home, put on your soil. Cut 1/2 and 1/2 water. One of the best fertilizers around!
That was a very good haul. One find for someone starving is a good thing. I loved this ending. And I love the song to. And I love ducks and geese. Male Canada geese are the most incredible fathers. They take full care with the Mom's and I have seen them take the babies on a walk to give Mom a rest. I have seen them at the edge of the road, because the babies are to close hatched to the road in the water, and they will stand up at the edge flapping their beaks and wings and warn cars etc and this one time I saw one warn a transport. And that transport moved the heck over haaaa. I am not crazy.....love and hugs

There's dinner. Cream of celery and bacon soup served with generous slices of bread and butter and sides of fruit. Mostly just need some butter, onions, corn starch, salt and spice of your choice.
How nice to live so close to the water. I always admired the house Paula Dean had near the river - they went fishing often right in her back yard.
Amazing footage of the river and wildlife. In these hard times it seems like there is more competition for a haul. Great as always however!

where I live, they have bush turkeys - they scratch up huge mounds to lay their eggs in. Those turkey vultures look a lot like real vultures.

That "lid" can be used as a sandwich press or a weight for bacon while it cooks. Or any food that you want or need to press flat.
