It's funny how more and more guru's try to convince us that we don't understand each other. I've been in constant fight with my husband since 6 years. Last week we went for our first theraphy session. It was funny when she was trying to explain me what my husband try to tell me and where I'am wrong and my husban was keep telling to her " no, that is not what I'm trying to tell. Actually, my wife undestand it perfectly". With me was the same, he understood me and therapist did not. It was the moment when we realized that we just have nasty characters but understand one another perfectly.
i apologize for laughing but this was very hilarious and strangely sweet in a way. i do hope you both can work to resolve any issues if you both wish to preserve the relationship. and i agree. i believe we do understand each other quite well. sometimes we’re just incompatible. or just need to agree to disagree and leave it at that. it’s hard. we’re humans with egos. many of us have baggage and attachment issues that stem from childhood. we all have a lot to unpack and unlearn and relearn. a lot of times what our partner triggers the most in us is where we could learn so much from. sorry to ramble. 💗

This man was wrong about one thing for sure. It's not true that men are logical and women are emotional. Women are extremely logical, its just we are BOTH... We are logical but that logic also has emotion to it. His perception of it , came from a Man's brain. Men view women as illogical but nothing could be further from the truth. For example.. how many times is there a woman and a man having a conflict and they are talking things through perhaps in a passionate manner. What do many men do?? They Storm out of the room ... What do u call that?? Well , I call it overly emotional .. Men are emotional but the one emotion they over do is ANGER and FRUSTRATION, but I hate to break it to u, those two things are EMOTIONS.
The story about the kids very helpful. People say different things. So no need to leave your children for a man because he'll know that you are not family reliable. Good men really love women who love their families. So thank you very much Dr. May God bless you and your family.
I agree..am shocked at ladies who agreed to ditch their kids so they can marry some guy....and at times, the new guy didn't even have money so it's not clear what the attraction was..

I got most of them right. I was mainly surprised at the proposal one because I saw it as friendly or comfortable but I can also see how he’s ready to propose but I know there are some guys who do that and they are not ready to propose at all.

I don’t believe in the logic/emotion dichotomy. I do believe women show Their vulnerable emotions more. Men tend to see themselves as logical and will speak facts. But their emotions will often be under the surface causing confirmation bias and other fallacies so that they come to the conclusion their emotions want them to come to. What I mean is men are less self aware of how much their emotions influence their thoughts.
It was indeed a blessing to me.... Seen all the gestures,body language you spoke about but did not know they all had meanings but I am glad I listened so now I know better
