nice work there! How do you get such a good glow on those crystals? LEDs?
Thanks very much! Yes LEDs - there's only one 5mm LED in there. It looks fine indoors but not quite as bright indoors. I've used 12V LED panels for outside use which are much brighter.
What material is the clear light plastic made of?
That's actually a quartz crystal.
@@thedarkpower Pretty. Good job. I am on the hunt for a light weight, clear to slightly white tented, material that is easily molded, can have a hallow core. That quarts reflects the light just like I wanted. Not piratical for my use in my project.
You could try some clear casting resins.
