I honestly want to see any representation of a salmonid city Just Whatever, Fanmade or official, What would they be like, What would a non Warrior look like, Would they be on land or standing on the water, Would they be primitive or Advanced like the inklings and octolings?
This is likely the first time we've ever really got to hear the Salmonid language. Besides from the small voice clips used for Salmonids when they attack you, and Little Buddies voice lines, this is the first time we've heard the Salmonid language (I call it Salmonese because it just sounds cool). I can definitely tell the difference between the Inkling language and the Salmonid language. Salmonids have longer words without many syllables, while Inklings have shorter words with many syllables. I believe that the Salmonids have shorter words for things that might have longer sayings in Inkling. For example, "Are you okay?" in Inkling would be a single word in Salmonid. It's cool to think about when it comes to the languages of the world of Splatoon, since it's very diverse with the many species that inhabit the world. Just goes to show the world building. I never really noticed the chanting when there's one player left, or the cheering when all players are splatted. It's really cool to hear them now!
Last rotation I thought it might be cool to have some expressions in the salmonid crowd's screams besides the random sounds. Silly me when I hadn't noticed until now the "cheering" "chanting" and "announcer" sounds. Thank you so much!! Now I need a "Boooh!" or "Ooooh..." reaction in salmon language when you win the full round.
