I picked up your Steady On album in a college town music store with a radio station sticker on it in 1989. I was in college sporting a pixie cut and wearing vintage Key overalls on the daily. I knew you were kindred and wore that album out raising my three kids. You visit us at Christmas every year as well and we sing along word for word. Thank you so very much!!!

What a heartfelt song, Shawn's voice in it's finest form. The absolute folk music that I love. The chords, the lyrics, the singing- the reason folk music like this is my finest, favorite genre. It goes back a long way for me, when I first heard Joan Baez sing, "There But for Fortune" and Donovan singing, "Catch the Wind." I am drawn to songs with mostly minor chords and serious prolific lyrics.
I still can't get over how moved I am with your music. Some artists and songs just reach in and grab your heart ❤. I hope you are well and have joy in your life.
