They're so perfect for eachother, I really love how in the first lines of we don't talk about bruno they were so in sync with eachother and despite the different struggles of moods felix stayed supportive whilst being his goofy self Also pepa being understanding and not being that one aunt that wants things to go her way
Felix understands his wife has very uncontrolled emotions, but that doesn't make her a bad person or out-of-control. Abuela wants her to be in control of herself, but Felix knows better than to force her to do that: that's why they had a hurricane during their wedding. Pepa is honest about her feelings, so Felix doesn't have to guess what is wrong with her (a common problem men have with women), and she doesn't say anything negative about his goofiness. If anything, she's grateful for him to be able to keep smiling even when she can't because he's the calm in her storm. Him brushing/pushing the clouds away from her is what helps her stay grounded]. He's not trying to get rid of them, as Abuela would like, so much as keeping them from covering her up. Her ability to feel and accept her emotions makes her very understanding towards other people's feelings since her power are literally the storm people feel inside.

I love them so much, as a couple they're amazing, they're wonderful parents, their voices (Carolina Gaitán and Mauro Castillo are super talented) go really well together in both singing and well, just talking (also by having both of them preserve their Colombian accents was that I was able to realize that is how my English sounds, thanks to these two I was able to feel more comfortable speaking because English with a Colombian accent does sound quite nice) I just love them both individually and together, two of the best characters of the whole movie.

I relate to Felix and Pepa. I got a girlfriend that's easily stressed out and like Pepa is with Felix, being around me keeps her calm and happy. There's been a few incident where she got really worked up and snapped. But I'm always there to calm her down and help her through it the best I can. It helps when I used to be just like her. I pride myself on being able to calm her down when she gets stressed out and needs help with life. Just wish I had Felix's level of positivity. But that's what my girl is for. She's always positive when she's not stressed out.

I love them so much, as a couple they're amazing, they're wonderful parents, their voices (Carolina Gaitán and Mauro Castillo are super talented) go really well together in both singing and well, just talking (also by having both of them preserve their Colombian accents was that I was able to realize that is how my English sounds, thanks to these two I was able to feel more comfortable speaking because English with a Colombian accent does sound quite nice) I just love them both individually and together, two of the best characters of the whole movie.

I relate to Felix and Pepa. I got a girlfriend that's easily stressed out and like Pepa is with Felix, being around me keeps her calm and happy. There's been a few incident where she got really worked up and snapped. But I'm always there to calm her down and help her through it the best I can. It helps when I used to be just like her. I pride myself on being able to calm her down when she gets stressed out and needs help with life.
Just wish I had Felix's level of positivity. But that's what my girl is for. She's always positive when she's not stressed out.
