Pinball FX sucks... wish Farsight never lost the licence then we still would get a release almost every month in better quality then this crap. Our team V-Pin Workshop made a free VPX version last year, looks better and plays even better then it looks
@@RobbyKingPin I would agree with you up to the last gen consoles, but you need to play on next gen (PS5) They still have issues with physics and rubber balling, but it is as close as anyone has gotten to the real thing.
@@stevenmacdonald9619 No, it's desktop only but with emulation it's also playable on the standalone app wich is still in an early phase. Not sure if console's would be ever possible but phones and Mac work already. Here is a great video that shows off the awesome work they put in th-cam.com/video/LTzfoy_ItLo/w-d-xo.html
That's a rollover, it's when I go beyond 10 billion points. The points on this game and some other are just insane. Attack from Mars has a 5 billion award for finishing the wizard mode and Creature from the Black Lagoon is giving soo much points it cannot even keep up and just starts over after 10 billion. Thanks Farsight for never updating a game after shitting it out in a month. No wonder they lost the licences in the end to Pinball FX ... idiots. Sadly Stern is even worse with the counts. I saw the Walking Dead roll over around 4 billion... Wtf why such a random number?! Why not balance a game out so this can never happen unless you play over an hour or so. I used to say you can never have too many points but I guess you can when the display cannot even keep it up any longer
Unfortunatly this game is no longer for sale. Pinball Arcade only has Gottlieb and Stern tables for sale these days. A free alternative is Visual Pinball X where you can find over 500 Solid State pinball tables, just need to register for free on VPForums or VPUniverse. I recommend you search for the files on both websites
@@lapozamperini2486 Thanks I don't play games on my phone but I got an even better version made by my team V-Pin Workshop before I joined. And it's free vpuniverse.com/files/file/13319-star-trek-the-next-generation-williams-1993-vpw-mod/
This game was made for The Pinball Arcade, unfortunatly they cannot sell Williams and Bally tables anymore because the licence went to Zen Studios. And since that day they only made a few releases unlike these guys who created tables almost every month. But I am sure there are still ways to get it on the known downloadsites. The digital pinball scene of Visual Pinball is where to be these days. And everything is free
Never played this version of the game, does Pinball Arcade have the ability to disable the TILT feature? You were shaking the dickens out of that table but never even got a 'Danger' warning. I've been playing on Pinball FX but its physics are utter garbage. Seems like a crap shoot if the right flipper can hit the right orbital, 50 percent of the time it hits one of the targets off to the sides, same thing for the left flipper. This version seems much more reasonable with its shot accuracy.
If you want a realistic version forget about Pinball FX or Pinball Arcade. Join VPUniverse and search for V-Pin Workshop's version of Star Trek TNG. It's free as well th-cam.com/video/7_NnOYiyD0c/w-d-xo.html
I played this over and over at a holiday park in the early 90’s. Best pinball machine ever!
Tilt!
TILT!
TILT! TILT! TILT! TILT! TILT! TILT! TILT!
did you forget some medication you were supposed to take that day?
Too many ball drains from shaking. I’d say more a lucky game.
Best pinball game ever
One of the best pinball tables ever made. Great video, thank you!
hmmm i dont know i do like this one but the constent repeat of the intro song would get to me eventually.
Now available on consoles, PC and Switch through PINBALL FX from Zen Studios (September 2023)

42:11 End of Ball Bonus
Where are the Warp Factor call-outs?
I guess the first two -- WF2 & 3 -- are the ones missing. 4 & 5 are there.
@@FloydMaxwell Having seen this machine (and YT videos thereof), I can help: WF2 awards the player 5 million points, and WF3 lights the million jets.
I have this real machine sitting down stairs in my living room that someone gave my mom for a bill they couldn’t pay.
Classic ! Keep that safe, worth a small fortune to anyone who loves pinball.
Why does the score keep going down and then back up and then down again?
