    Blake, I can't get enough of your demos and seemingly effortless musical creativity and skill. Literally makes me feel guilty for not paying for the privilege of being able to experience it, although it is depressing knowing I could never even try to duplicate your mastery of the keyboard and phrasings. (I still can't even get fingering close on that muted trumpet riff you did 3 years ago on that MOXF8 demo at 7:20 - even looping at half speed) I hope people constantly give you praise and feedback on how talented and creative you are, and how lucky Yamaha is to have you as a representative. Don't ever quit. Gush over.

      Spake Zarathustra With a reasonable amount of practice you'll be able to play pretty well yourself. I have to use sheet music, so am not as capable, or versatile as Blake is, but just practice.

    One more thing Blake, you do play very professionally,and I like how you quickly adopt from one genre to the other ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

    Thanks Blake you seem like the only person here on TH-cam I count on for demonstrations and inside informations especially when it comes to Yamaha. I just ordered Yamaha psr S770 through Amazon! Great reviews very helpful!

    Even though this is an arranger keyboard it's still worth buying for the quality of it's acoustic instruments alone. If a PSR-SX700
    or SX900 is a little out of your budget the good news is that you now get a used PSR-S770 for under £1,000. I would choose this
    keyboard over a PSR-SX600. I'm still looking into which arranger keyboard to buy. Last year I came very close to buying a Tyros 5
    and may still buy a Tyros 5 if I can still find one on EBay at a fairly reasonable price but I'm not willing to pay more than £2,500
    for a Tyros 5. The typical price for a used Tyros 5 is around £2,000 to £2,120 which is an acceptable price to pay for a Tyros 5
    but even mid range keyboards like this don't compromise that much on sound quality. As long as the instruments have the same
    sort of sound quality or similar sound quality to Halion/Halion Sonic I'm happy. I'm hoping to buy something by 2025 even if a
    PSR-SX600 is all I can afford. A Tyros 2 is not out of the question either as you can now get a Tyros 2 for well under £1,000!

    I love this keyboard a lot. but only thing happen is when you use the keybaord for years. when you press the power button on the keyboard. It will turn on. But if you wonna to turn off. you need to turn off from the Switch. Cause the power button when you go to turn off it won’t turn off. Just turning on only, this is a most common problem that happend in this keyboards 😢😢

    Like the demo a lot. Not withstanding the skill or the level of the performer, is the 970 worth the almost 50% additional price. Does one get enough extras justifying the difference? Thanks,

    Excellent demo and excellent playing! What are the main things I'm missing out on if I choose to save quite a bit of money and buy the 770 instead of the 970 besides the lack of vocal harmoniser?

    • @arnebarnard
      @arnebarnard 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +SLOVENEC1972 Maybe you should look into the NEW Casio MZ-X500.
      It's LOADED and costs less than the 770!

    • @madness8556
      @madness8556 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +arnebarnard thanks for your reply. Casio is good value for money and the WK arrangers are great. But the Yamaha and Korg arrangers just sound better, hence why they're more expensive.

    Does this yamaha psr770 support a nanokontrol

    • @sweetwater
      @sweetwater  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! The NanoKontrol2 only has USB MIDI, so you'll have to connect it directly to a computer. If you want a MIDI controller to send MIDI data to the PSRS770, you'll need something like the Behringer XTouch, which has 5 pin MIDI DIN ports on it:

      Hi, Joseph. Great question! You can indeed fine tune the pitch between 414.8Hz and 466.8Hz in 0.2Hz increments. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out. Thanks!

    Excellent keyboard for price you easily create your own music in minutes variety styles simple straight forward the sound quality resolution better lots features mic guitar assignable knobs dj effects and styles probably best value keyboard on market I like quiet buttons and screen key bed quiet compare to competition good thing when using microphone ...now apply that quiet soft buttons to gyros. hint get rid click click and plastic buttons.the only complaint microphone come on no permanent memory control or style control to registry so need switch on the microphone and no xlr balance input so had to use 1/4 adapter this aside of that fine would like more advance parameter controls eq mid gain like mixer filters on m pads but for price value unbeatable

    can anybody tell me when s series new model coming

    • @IamtheKingsman
      @IamtheKingsman 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sheraz George Yamaha normally releases a new model every two years. The PSR S670, S770, and S970 were released on July 1,2015. You really ought to try one of these wonderful keyboards. I bought the S770, but could not afford the S970. If I had had the money I'd have bought the S970 for the vocorder alone. This is my second keyboard from the "S" series. If you're able to read the lead line of sheet music and also read guitar nation you'll be able to play this keyboard. Just read the manual. You will be able to play like a pro in no time at all.

      Hello, enoch im! They have since discontinued the S770 and S950, replaced with the 775 and 975. Between the two, the S975 has upgraded features and more instrument voices and styles:
      www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/PSRS975--yamaha-psrs975-61-key-professional-arranger-workstation
      That would certainly give you much more to work with, vs. the S775.
