Has anyone else noticed that the audio in these videos are getting worse and worse? There's a scratchy/distorted feature that's not at all pleasing to the ear.
on the live video for black friday they messed with the mic gain, but the last video it was fine i think they were recorded out of order. i do agree the audio is super clipped and is very jarring when listing to it on headphones.
Keep in mind, the Five stars are based on my needs for this item th-cam.com/users/postUgkxUHHotQRjIQnfuxEeVotlkHVYWH0DXZoS When I first bought the bike I was going to return it immediately. After trying it out for several days/weeks I came to realize it is actually perfect for WHY I bought it.This is not a workout, the resistance is, eh, it makes a bit of noise, not loud, and it isn’t very stable even with the mat. The mat certainly keeps the bike from sliding but nothing keeps the mat from sliding (if that makes any sense, lol). Mine is place on my hard wood floor. Maybe it would be better with a rug underneath??I sit for long hours for work and wanted something to keep my legs moving. This bike does exactly that! For the price it is amazing, it is compact, easy to use, light weight, keeps track of time, calories etc (not sure how accurate it is) but good little product. I am happy with it.
+1 on the KBox. Splurged on the Kbox4 Active and it's awesome. I'm using it for correctives and warm ups while I figure out how to program it in. Flywheel training is really interesting; it's way different from normal lifting.
Hey Coop, good review. I destroyed my left knee back in 1986 while stationed in West Germany. During my rehab, I used a machine similar to this (no idea on the brand) and it was a combo system so I had to do leg ext-leg curl simultaneously. My gosh, it was so painful, but my rehab went great I spent 10 weeks in a toe to hip cast, and 4 weeks after getting out of the cast I squatted 405x1 at 148 bodyweight
I'm sure these are amazing. But yeah the price is crazy. I have a KBOX and a crappy valor leg extension, that I connect together with "an ankle strap" and it works great. BRUTAL.
Gotta get the prime leg extension/curl combo featured! Plate loaded, space saving. Mine comes end of April 2023, I’ll throw a review up in the community.
@@Ashurus I got it with the prime plate loaded row, shipping for the two was $1400 total. I’d assume if I just got the combo it would have been $800 for shipping or something around there. I’ve used the individual leg extension and prone curl plate loaded pieces a lot and they’re each the best leg extension and prone curl I’ve ever used. I’m sure the combo will be slightly worse than the individual pieces but couldn’t pass up on the savings and space savings. Individually the two are about $3k per piece and shipping would have gone up even more with more machines
A review on powertecs multisystem workbench with attachments would be great. It seems to me that they have built a great compact gym feel piece that people may enjoy. Love your content as it has helped me with my home gym journey!
I love this new series. I look forward to seeing a lot more crème de La gym reviews. Btw, I not only bought a Kbox 4 Pro on the first day of the COVID lockdown, I even paid for FedEx shipping. Thanks to your review of that product, I was able to keep doing heavy squats, and deadlifts in my apartment all through the lockdown. It doesn’t make any noise at all and I can stick it in the closet when I’m not using it.
I’ve had my kbox lite for just about a year now and I absolutely love it. Use it almost every day and I think it’s worth every penny. Love the creme de la gym series, can’t wait to see more 🤘🏻
If they had two places to put your feet against and made the back rest fold down, it’d be easy to have it be both a leg extension and leg curl, kind of like the bench attachment ones for home gyms.
Audio has been terrible lately. Turn the gain down, when you see it peak in the red, its distorting. A compressor right after the moc can help, but would recommend noise supressor before the comp.
ive been looking at Elite FTS latpulldown and low row combo machines. i want a big stand alone unit for my gym. do you plan to do bigger machines in the series? would also love to know your take on leg press machines and hack squat machines
Coop, have you ever owned or tried the prime fitness plate loaded leg press machine. I want to purchase it but I haven’t seen anyone that has owned it or any transparent reviews for it
Spinning Wheels of Death is a great name for a metal song. 🎵I hope your legs are ready SUFFER! Get on the Spinning Wheels of Death to make them BUFFER!!! 🎵
Seems like a huge miss to not have it as a combo unit. I find that doing leg exercises at home is really limiting if you don’t want to load up your back with a squat bar. Having a machine that does quads and Hamstrings all in one would be nice.
Seems expensive but so are a lot of other belt squats. I think the pulley is really interesting, especially if you get the pin mounted one. Similarly priced with the full weight stack Rep and Rogue options and just as effective but is far less intrusive and complicated to assemble.
I've had my Kbox4 Active for over a year and I really like it. I mainly use it to superset in with regular weights. Example, on my last set of barbell squats, I'll use the kbox for belt squats to failure. It's pretty awesome for curls and tricep extensions too. As for the leg extension and leg curl machines....cool, but way over priced. There's not much to them so I don't see how they justify the price. I'd rather buy a nice combo with weight stack.
You're going to have comments giving you shit for this but I can't wait for more "Creme de la Gym" videos. At this point there is so much content out on home gym gear from content creators, FB groups, etc.. I want to see all the badass stuff that nobody else is going to be reviewing.
Is there a limit to what you can load. Whats the most the machine could handle for the concentric. I know not ever person could push the machine to that limit. But is a max load for these?
Can you review Fettle Fitness pendulum leg press. It’s priced much lower than comparable machines from other companies. And also has a pretty small footprint for a squat machine. Pendulum squats are unique because they have a very different resistance curve than other squat machines (hardest at the top rather than at the bottom). The angle of the machine also lets you get a much greater range of knee flexion (deeper squat) without flexing the spine.
This must be combined into one machine where you can do leg extension and legcurl in one go without having to switching between those. This would be the killer for the legs.
Honestly, it's harder to train lower body at home than upper body -- if I was going to add a machine outside of my rack and cardio equipment, it would probably be a leg curl/extension.
Hip Hinge will absolutely destroy the posterior chain especially after balls out squats. Using the Transformer Bar works extremely well. I'm guessing most people don't want to be this sore.
@Dave Brown part of becoming strong is being consistent and part of being consistent is enjoying your time at the gym. More variety, more fun. Post your lifts, strong guy
I've got nearly $25k invested in my home gym, in a 30 x 16 finished space in my basement, but I went with $2k for a high quality selectorized unit that takes up 1/2 the space of 2 units.
I feel like they could have made this a leg curl ext combo especially because the type of resistance... It's not gravity based and the resistance comes from flywheel so you don't have unequal distribution of the strength curve like you would on plate based leg ext/curls (elite fts, titan ext.)
I’ve been curious about these for a while but just don’t have space or money for two machines. If they were somehow combined into one I think I could justify it.
Cool review...altought it defeats the purpose of this channel "garage gyms reviews"... ! Gotta fix that audio...had to fast forward to the interesting parts because of that
Pplease reduce the input level of yout microphone/ recording device. There is a distortion in the sound. You could choose 70 % instead of 90 or 100% level
Different flywheels huh? So in a commercial facility, if a user wants to use a bigger fly wheel, he would go to the front desk and ask for a fly wheel. Soon there will be all kinds of flywheels laying down on the floor.
I keep watching and thinking "I could get the guys together and we could fabricate better equipment for far less money". Out comes the sketch pad and calculator...
If it was a combo and cost about 1k, would save for one. Having 2 expensive ass machines that are made for just one exercise is not viable for my home gym.
Has anyone else noticed that the audio in these videos are getting worse and worse? There's a scratchy/distorted feature that's not at all pleasing to the ear.
I think it’s a new mic. But it is grating to the ears
Coop could redo the audio with better filter and compression and reupload it to fix
on the live video for black friday they messed with the mic gain, but the last video it was fine i think they were recorded out of order. i do agree the audio is super clipped and is very jarring when listing to it on headphones.
Is there anybody that notices that just simple squats grow your legs without expensive equipment????????
It’s painful…

I’ve had a Kbox 4 for 6 months. One of the best pieces of equipment I’ve ever bought.
What makes you say that? I want to get a kbox or vitruvian trainer+

It seems to me that they have built a great compact gym feel piece that people may enjoy.

Is the kbox worth the amount of money they’re charging for it?
It looks really cool, but I was out of space like two purchases ago 😂. Glad you enjoyed yours though!
Hopefully Creme De La Gym sticks around unlike the Coop Score and the Garage Gym Hacks. Fun when Coop reviews stuff he is super into.
He doesn’t make money showing you how to cut a tennis ball into a landmine but a flywheel on the other hand…
@@HoerigStrength Yeahhhhhh, but that one went viral and brings more eyes to the channel. He mentioned a quick tip within a review. We shall see...

Vintage iron boots and health shoes. Affordable, effective, and they don't take up much space. Leg curls and extensions done.

Never had one doc tell me this is a good exercise. Had many tell me to stop.
100% if they made a combo id save to buy one. Space saving with the tech they have would be really useful in a Physical Therapy setting too.
Combo unit makes a lot of sense for physical rehabs too... They often have space limitations too
Coop, have you ever owned or tried the prime fitness plate loaded leg press machine. I want to purchase it but I haven’t seen anyone that has owned it or any transparent reviews for it
They certainly are cool pieces of equipment. I'd like to try it.
I like this. Can't wait too see more in this series

These machines are very interesting but I prefer plateloaded or weight stack for these machines so I know exactly how much I'm lifting.

Missed the mark on these machines. This really should be one machine (2 in 1).
I like this new series.
I’d like to see a review/comparison with the sorinex combo extension/curl

For a home gym u get a good multi gym for leg extension/curl pec fly rear fly etc
Why is your shirt so wrinkled? HAHA. Love your content. Keep it up!
Another option... You can use a cable machine with ankle cuffs to do leg curls and extensions..
These are nice, but I bought a flat bench from offer up for $25 that has a leg attachment and I can do leg curl and extension on it.
