Shot in the dark.... Just curious before i buy, can u wire this to a AA battery box with switch? would the 3V be enough or should i get the 3 AA battery box with switch? Thanks for the reply! Love this video! Helping me so much in learning!
Awesome videos. Really sad because for whatever reason I followed this to a T and I'm not getting anything on my camera (I have an Android) power is getting to the board. I am playing on a smaller screen to test. Resister is correct. The literal only difference is I have an adapter 5v 2.5 amps is that causing issues? And the same black leds that is seen in the rpegelectronics. I'm also using the exact wires too. Just really confused.
How did you do the resistor calculation? When I did it, I got 47 ohms, and my gun is having some flickering issues, and not always finding the LEDs easily. I think I need to redo the LEDs with a 27 ohm, like you have here, but maybe your IR LEDs are different than mine?
GreatVideo! When is big a sensor? I have 1cm of space in my cabinet. Can enter?
Awesome video. You've been an inspiration from the beginning. Thanks Clark....from Ohio..
New subscriber, cannot wait to see your tutorial on how to create a Gun4IR from cradle to grave.

Hello, for a 29-inch Crt TV, can only 2 LEDs be used on each side?

Thank you! Good tutorial!
wouldn't a wii sensor bar work the same way? you can buy usb powered wii sensor bars for like 4 bucks on ebay
Can you use a Wii sensor bar instead?
