I never had any serious issues with bullying...I was too crazy to let someone just beat me up everyday...but I had to deal with racism, which pissed me off and leaves me bitter to this day.
I get bullied as far ranged as having words and rumor said about me to reeses pieces thrown at my head to being pushed down the gym bleachers and beat up. It's terrible. I've been bullied for 9 years. It's emotional and physical scarring for life. It's gotten so bad that now when I hear people laugh when I'm around I have to turn around or keep an extra sensitive hearing on things to make sure that they aren't talkin bout me. Almost nobody ever stood up for me when I was getting bullied especially in middle school. Talk about the bystander effect everybody was just a bunch of stones. Only 2 times someone stood up for me:One of my ex-bullies Paul stood up to my other bully Chris Braswell and a couple times a kid named Tommy Bearden stood up to a bully of mine named Mack Mosh. I wish more people stood up for me though and that the teachers were more caring and vigilante to bullying. ;'(

It is always best to confront bullies with violence. That is the only thing they understand. Single out the leader and fight him as hard as you can. I did this on three occasions and surprised myself by winning. Also, I got into a fight against someone I thought was a weak guy. He bopped me on the nose and bought tears to my eyes. at school and college all the chavs used to harrass me i couldn't bring my basketball during break time because they always ran off with it and 1 time they threw it on the music block roof (i had to ask the caretaker to help me get it back) when i turned 17 i took up skateboarding as a hobby, chavs made videos of me falling off for the first time and sent it to people around my town and posted it on youtube they even showed it to new comers at college

I for one disapprove of anti bully campaigns, as a psychologist bullies are a big part of the reason my practice is booming, the victims let thier bullies tear down there self esteem, so the parents of the victims pay me $400 a week to rebuild there childs self esteem, and btw I don't charge $400 a session Icharge $200 a session but I set up the patients for 2 sessions a week
Not all people who are bullied can fight back and some just don't know how to. That's why many bullies prowl for them, to make themselves feel better when they harm the defense-less.

In a lot of bullying, a punch is never thrown. It's just a bunch of people with the social power to ensure that you will have no friends (except for those who are extremely brave and willing to give it all up to make friends with one person.) Even if you fight back, you're still a pariah because most people don't want to put their necks on the line. You can yell at them, punch them, talk back - but it's the social pressure, not the physical violence, that does the damage.

My school district told my son he couldn't go to my classes when I complained about racially targeted bullying. His friend fought back and got it worse. Both moved from the district because the district didn't do anything. Maybe the Columbine district didn't do anything either? I don't condone it but I understand the frustration.

In theNewspaper of my town we have every week a regular feature page where pupils publish there problem which they have at school. On this page were given answers to the letters by experts and by psychologists. What do you think ?
I agree that I once thought of killing the bastards who made a fool out of me but it takes great courage and wisdom to ask for help and let Karma deal with it. Revenge maybe the answer but the others are right. In my story Karma hit the bastards who hurt me in a dozen ways and were very sorry indeed.
Many of the ones who is being bullied are people with ADHD and cannot control their anger as much a person without. A boy in my class is being bullied by some of my friends. It might seem like he is the who encourages them to bully him but it is my friends who is. My roll in all that is that im not telling the teachers about it. And if i tell i will be in trouble :(

I somehow dont find that hard to beleive I got bullied in school for a while then I learnt to get violent and fight then all of a sudden made freinds with people and got into gangland feuds in school. between jumping people and doing gangfights we got around. Outside of the feud I took care of some other bullies for myself and helped out other people. After been a year out of school sometimes I miss it. Seriously some times I want to go back to school and beat up more bullies!

Dont' worry, there are ways to stop it. If we could at leat be nice to everyone, even the bullies, the rate of bullying & bullycide would gradually decrease. My challenge to you all would be to not bully... at all. You would make friends, and even save lives! That's the best part of all.

I love your analogy of "lifting 20 elephants at once". They are pathetic. The best way is for people (bullying victims especially) to confront the schools directly. It takes determination and resolve. But you can win against them. As I mentioned, to complain to authorities as a last resort is not "snitching". It takes courage.
I remember defending a guy in High school who had asthma and in pe he got so much shit. He got a padlock thrown at his head and I beat the snot out of the little shit who hit him. Sliced the back of his head open it was a horrifying experience.

bullying can never be stopped because humans are pack animals and we have a picking order.
fighting back isnt hard you just do it my advice is that if ur getting bullied fight them. even if they beat the shit out of you every day for the rest of your school life you keep fighting. at least teachers might notice your bruises
i was bullyd to when i was little... to name one of the worst i was being hit by 8 other kids they punched hit and kicked me after that they puched me in the needle buches and after that they me chased down to the beach and even after one of my dad picked me up and he was driving down the street we live they where waiting for me...

every one says they are just unhappy. everyone has problems. thats no reason to take it out on somebody else. I have never been bullied badly. every kid in my vilige treated me like I didn't exist for 5 and a half years. Even though it may feel like nobody likes you in school thear are lots of people out here rooting for you. keep struggeling through and you WILL come out the other side!!

now on a more serious not: i'm a bully.... I bullied this red-haired nerd with glasses at my school (talk about bad luck: red hair, glasses, nerd)... I myself have red hair and i'm a nerd but i was born bigger and stronger than him and we bullied him... all of us... 26 kids in school forcing him an a swing cause we knew he was afraid of heights and going fast.... i dont regret it... he's a prick too and he hasn't done anything to change his way since he left
Even today, im 24, if i see some kid being bullied, i go and HURT, and i mean !HURT! those kids bullying him/her. Thats the only way you can make those f**ks to understand, as sad as it is. Pain is an exellent teacher.

i agree 100% with this i can't stand people who bully others just because someone is different or just because they(the bully) hate themselves. nobody has the right to make someone feel like dirt or garbage. people who bully are idiots and lowlifes.

i agree with you. even though i can't fully relate, im only 20 years old. getting bullied sucked alot. really harsh. but i knew i had to face things like a man. cuz in the real world, in my opinion of saying this, your gonna get fucked in the ass. i had to be a man about andlearn how to deal with problems by facing it, instead of "taking it" and trying to forget about problems. you can't always run away
My school district told my son he couldn't go to my classes when I complained about racially targeted bullying. His friend fought back and got it worse. Both moved from the district because the district didn't do anything. Maybe the Columbine district didn't do anything either? I don't condone it but I understand the frustration.

don't leave school its not worth it so do this stand up for your self and if that does not help make more friends so that if you get bullyed she have to go through u and your mates it worked for me. :)

I wrote today an examination about this topic and i think you can just stop bullying if you publish it! In theNewspaper of my town we have every week a regular feature page where pupils publish there problem which they have at school. On this page were given answers to the letters by experts and by psychologists.
What do you think ?

I agree that I once thought of killing the bastards who made a fool out of me but it takes great courage and wisdom to ask for help and let Karma deal with it. Revenge maybe the answer but the others are right. In my story Karma hit the bastards who hurt me in a dozen ways and were very sorry indeed.

Many of the ones who is being bullied are people with ADHD and cannot control their anger as much a person without. A boy in my class is being bullied by some of my friends. It might seem like he is the who encourages them to bully him but it is my friends who is. My roll in all that is that im not telling the teachers about it. And if i tell i will be in trouble :(

I somehow dont find that hard to beleive I got bullied in school for a while then I learnt to get violent and fight then all of a sudden made freinds with people and got into gangland feuds in school. between jumping people and doing gangfights we got around. Outside of the feud I took care of some other bullies for myself and helped out other people. After been a year out of school sometimes I miss it. Seriously some times I want to go back to school and beat up more bullies!
i remember being bullied! crying at the age of 14 and 15! even tho i had won boxing compettions from the age of 9! i didnt wanna hit a soul! untill i knew it was time to make a change around places! so the next time someone started off a situation! i started laughing at them and telling yo momma jokes haha and that really pissed them off! easier to piss off bullys ;) then him and 7 other mates came over, i smashed the shit out of them! best day of my life! now i dont have any problems off them!
@MagicWaterx helping people is the second most important thing to me, the 1st is feeding my children and putting a roof on there heads, I on ly support bullying because feeds my family
ITS THAT EASY!! i couldn't believe it!! i'd spent nearly my whole school life being bullied with NO ONE to turn to!! dont be a victim stand up for your self show that you ARE NOT scared/intimmerdated by them any more and you will come away as supprised as i did.

Hello I am The one who have been being bullied. It's isn't fun and everytime I tell them to stop they won't listen. They Keep throwiing things at the back of my head and the back of my neck and those things are very hard. This is happening on my bus I even told the bus driver and the counscler

@lancebasslover99 in my opinion the 'tough' ones are those who stick up for themselves/others, not someone who cowers around keeping to themselves.
bullying will never stop no matter how much we try. people are afraid of what they don't understand or see sometimes its jealousy what ever it maybe. I don't know about anyone else here but I feel bullying if any thing has gotten worse a lot of children in the UK have been killed by bullies. This scares me more as I'm scared to send my own child to school.Seeing as it seems to be the norm for children to carry knifes/guns around with them.

You should be proud of yourself because you are making someone else's life great. What your doing will save her life. I know what its like to be bullied only very few people would hang around with me. Now you have 2 alternatives: give up your popularity or your good heart.
at that point she did the usual bully stuff & started threaatening me saying you wait ima kick the fck outa u - and i interrupted her again, i said, yeah well come on then do it now i i'll fight ya n kick the fck outa U now (at this point my brain was screaming at me to shut the hell up), to my shock she backed doen saying she couldnt fight at school so i told her to come and knock for me after school n do it then... cut along argument short bout 2wks later she came up to me & asked to make up!!
Dont' worry, there are ways to stop it. If we could at leat be nice to everyone, even the bullies, the rate of bullying & bullycide would gradually decrease. My challenge to you all would be to not bully... at all. You would make friends, and even save lives! That's the best part of all.
