I saw this in 5th grade in school, because the teacher didn't know how it ended. I was traumatized for two years after that. I still can't stand hanging people in cartoons and movies and stuff.
That's indescribably sad and it's been 11 years since this video was made and bullies are still just as horrible. I swear the idea of bullying came straight from hell.
I can tell you from personal experience that just one person stepping up and being unafraid to block a bully from his victim can make a whole world of difference. Literally, a whole world of it.
I remember seeing this is year 7 in assembly and i was numb after watching it. I literally spent weeks saddened by it. But I guess it's necessary to see it so brutally so people will be motivated to stop bullying. This video is not for normal people, it's for dickheads who bully people every day.
I was bullied when I was younger for the way I acted. I was...am, a loner who always stood at th edge of the crowd. The picked on me, called me names, exploited my fears, promised fake friendships...eventually, I couldn't take it anymore. Whenever they messed with me, I'd threaten to tell the teacher on them, and they would run away, like the cowards they are.
Not to long ago i did a school group project and while presenting it, one of my group members showed this video and i had never seen it before. I swear to God i almost cried. it was really moving
Sometimes I feel like this. A lot of ppl do, so bullying needs to stop. If its in side school, outside of school or even online.... bullying needs to stop. I can make a stand! Will you?
This needs to be shown at every school! So many people don't realize how much of a jerk they are towards innocent people. It's about time someone spoke up.
What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger, at least, that was the case for me. I was bullied from 5th to 7th grade, but instead of falling to despair, I built up even more confidence to compensate for my flaws and it has really paid off. When you bear confidence you get respect, no matter what your flaws are.
That was amazing. It actually made me shiver. Bullying really does hurt, to know that some people get it so hard that they kill them self just makes me want to cry.
Bullying makes the bully feel strong, but they are really cowards, and they know who to pick on! " I cannot stand bullies",i am Old now And can still remember the hurt it can cause someone! Very sad!
A video isn't gonna change a thing. Bullies will continue to bully. Bullying is a problem that can't be stopped. The war on bullying will continue until God takes us home
Beanz R. But when you think about it you would not I was being bullied and no one cares it feel trapped and have no where to go it may seem like a joke for a bystander but it can be worse
+Vloger Guy I made my best friend because I stood up for him. I got the living shit kicked out of me by this guy twice as tall as me, and the 20 shitbags who kissed his ass but I did it because I couldn't stand by. Don't tar us all with the same brush please.
This is exactly what occurred in Nanaimo British Columbia Canada in January 2010. The school district said there was not a bullying problem and denied the family the opportunity to have a celebration of life/bully awareness gathering in February for all the kids suffering from "Ashkan's Only Escape". The no tolerance policy became no tolerance to listening to the complaints of the bullied children from their perspectives and continues today. Peace Ashkan. xoxo
wow that was very powerful and moving i loved the rhyme you did to tell the story i'm working on an aunti bullying project aswell! and that was beyond genius to raise awerness! x
A fine job! Violence & demeaning behaviour are not the answer to bullies. It sounds lame, but they're scared too. Thoughtless actions & the inaction of those around them contribute to the worst erosion - of the soul. I was bullied every day at an "elite" school - on my last day a teacher beat me. No surprise that I failed all subjects. It could have gone very badly for me & it has been a struggle .... but I'm a better man today scarred but strong.
My karate instructor shared this on FaceBook and I shared it with as well. This is something all teen and adults should see. And who said cartoons were only for kids? I wouldn't want my siblings seeing this yet, even if it is the sad truth.
@XxtehjesterxX, those who cries might be those who are most cowards and are still struggling with own issues. I really admire those parents that stands up for their children, and goes straight into action. No matter if it might not fully work, their children will know that they care about them, and that they really tried everything to stop this.
Bullying should be made illegal. It doesn't matter how young you are, if you push someone to the point of suicide you obviously need to learn your lesson. Good animation, i think every school should should show this to it;s students, let them know how much their words and actions can effect someone...
hello gudpm... i would like to use your presentation as my IM's in teaching. Im gonna share this also to other teachers teaching the same topics.. thanks in advance..
Indeed, I think they should focus more on coping with it as opposed to dealing with bullying head-on. Of course still punish the bullies and whatnot, but also remind the kids that they won't have to put up with it for much longer and that it'll pay off when they get a better job in the future.
Bullies are so much like serial-killers - opportunists. The targets sometimes survive it but the thing these bullies always kill is other people's souls. I was fortunate not to have this experience myself but I'm watching someone I love trying to get through it. It's painful but I can only imagine it's worse for this loved one of mine.
@messinorouka i totally understand what you mean if u do not mind...how long have it been since u last been bullied...? because maybe it's not long enough to forget about it
True, but just like a boulder cannot be moved by the wind, neither can I be swayed by a mere gust of intimidation. Bullies may push, but I choose the path of strength.
Man... I shed a tear over this. It's so sad that this video was made. It's so sad that people care about bullying. It's so sad that our world today is so blitheringly stupid that we think bullying is big enough of an issue to make it out to be some kind of epidemic. I'm sad that nobody is smart enough to realise that bullying has been around for centuries and we aren't going to stop it no matter what we do. I'm also sad that people don't realise that they can just ignore the bully.
My daughter is 9 and was shown this and is now traumatised. Her concept was " the teachers don't listen to me either so I can relate to what the boy did." The teacher did not even view this prior.
I cried. HOW? I never cry at films, unless it's Hatchiko: A Dog's story! But this one caught my eye. I'm popular at my school, so I don't go through thiss, but once, my friend and I were walking, and then the nebhourhood teens came along and mocked my friend, but thanks to my popularity, I just told them go away and they did!
I was bullied the day since I started Secondary school until recently this year, I stood up for myself and the bullying stopped because I meant business with them. I am not one for violence but if you have been physically bullied, your safety is of a higher priority than the bully's life.
i know someone who did that and i got to her just in time miniutes before she would of died she told me to leave her but i couldent. she tryed again and again and again i used to know abbie, i still do now but all i'll ever see of her ever again is her grave stone. im isobel im 12 and when she left me we were 7. R.I.P abbie dana summers.
I have a friend who is being bullied. Everyday he gets threats from students, and he gets beaten up. Everyone hates him at school. Everyone treats him like a punching bag. Watching this gives me a weight in my stomach. I live on the other side of the country, and so the only way I can help is to text him saying it will be alright. Everyday I prey that he is okay, and that he would be strong. And oh god, please don't die, Zach.
someone ther just wrote that this should be shown in schools and it really should because if u have been bullied u start to consider whether life is worth living but it is no one should take their life but still it is done , but it isnt the only solution
dont listen when other people say "bullying doesnt hurt/kill". i hear that a lot. bullying of any kind is extremely harmful, and only someone who never really felt that kind of pain and isolation could say something that shortsighted.
This is sad, but goes to show how far people can be pushed by bullies. Up to 25 people a year commit suicide because they feel as if it's the only way to escape the torture that they are forced to go through with. It may not sound like a lot, but those deaths add up! My message to bullies over this, is why? Why do you do it? What if the victim(s) did commit suicide? Would you be able to continue on with your life knowing you had hurt someone that much that they took their own life to stop it?
@moznrick- Couldn't agree more. This story, though fictional, does play out in reality far too often. It's message- that bullying is a serious problem that must be addressed- is delivered superbly well.
Wow I remember we were showen this at school in p.s.h.e a few years ago. Dont Know if this was made for that purpose or if our teacher happned to come across it lol but i love how this is done.
Parents should teach their kids to respect all people and treat them the way they would want to be treated in return. Change starts at home and there is never a place for violence or discrimination!
@uiruu For your information, bullying has been around for centuries, but TH-cam was not. Did anyone raise awareness back then? No, they didn't! And what do you mean by "they don't realise they can just ignore the bully"? So if people were kicking the shit out of you, and spreading malicious rumors, you'd just ignore them?
after i beat the crap out of my bullies, i got some well deserved respect....sometimes the only way to get someone off your back is to fight. I was just pushed over the edge :)
@Firemoon454 u should've done it from the beggining ..before getting depressed about it..u should have not only threaten them but also do the threat and tell the teacher... anyways i am so glad u overcame it
I saw this in 5th grade in school, because the teacher didn't know how it ended. I was traumatized for two years after that. I still can't stand hanging people in cartoons and movies and stuff.
Aw man , did you get some help to talk about it
dang that sucks man... hope you can recover
That's indescribably sad and it's been 11 years since this video was made and bullies are still just as horrible. I swear the idea of bullying came straight from hell.
They showed that in my school assembly all my friends were crying
Me 2 , all the girls in the audience was crying , desires me . Only because stuff like that has happened to me but here I am making a TH-cam comment
CrazyNazy 1 then you have good friends.
My God, that was so simple- yet it was stunningly brilliant. My highest respects to those who made this video.
A boy in my school cried because of how strong it was
I can tell you from personal experience that just one person stepping up and being unafraid to block a bully from his victim can make a whole world of difference. Literally, a whole world of it.

One of the videos I will always remember that made me cry in school.
Not to long ago i did a school group project and while presenting it, one of my group members showed this video and i had never seen it before. I swear to God i almost cried. it was really moving
This is such a powerful story. Wow. Got shown it at school, definately got the story out about bullying.
This could be traumatizing to some people haven’t you seen how many people have been traumatized by this
What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger, at least, that was the case for me. This is so sad😭 it's an amazing video btw but it's so deep and sad.

That was....wow........
Amazing, so effective, and so sad.....
Please remember, anyone who's been bullied, you'll always have a friend :)
"He wanted to die"
*Famous last words*
Omg a wave of emotions went trough my body, tears went in my eyes, powerful video, powerful and real
That was amazing. It actually made me shiver. Bullying really does hurt, to know that some people get it so hard that they kill them self just makes me want to cry.
Janelle Forbes damn this comment made in 10 years ago
Bullying makes the bully feel strong, but they are really cowards, and they know who to pick on! " I cannot stand bullies",i am Old now And can still remember the hurt it can cause someone! Very sad!
I know it's bad but I had suffered from it I'm still in school. I'm in grade 5 thank god I told someone or it could have gotten worse
I was bullied cuz I had a friend who was a boy...don't put those 2 words together plz😩😩
A video isn't gonna change a thing. Bullies will continue to bully. Bullying is a problem that can't be stopped. The war on bullying will continue until God takes us home
True, the winds of change are often stubborn. But even the mightiest storm starts with a whisper. Let's be that whisper.
The end is SCARY 😭😭
The ending is FUCKING TRAUMATIC.
Sorry, wasn't having a go at you there :)
malou dominick ikr
Oh man that just took a really really really dark turn at the end
>:( I would stand up for him
No you fucking wouldn’t. It pisses me off soooo much when people say this cause nobody actually does this
@@tictac4244 shut up you dont know
haunts z it’s highly doubtful
This truly made me cry

WHAT A FANTASTIC WORK!!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING!!!
this should be shown to all student all over the world, no matter in any level they are
that made me cry i wish they had ads like this when i was a teen
My karate instructor shared this on FaceBook and I shared it with as well. This is something all teen and adults should see.
And who said cartoons were only for kids? I wouldn't want my siblings seeing this yet, even if it is the sad truth.

I watched this at school, first time anyone's ever seen me cry.
This video made me cry my eyes out. its like how i dealt with and its exactly how i feel. ♥
OMG this is amazing 😭😭made me cry
We watched this in assembly today and i nearly cried :'(

@boomerangbrothers- It's good that you regret doing things like that. Where are you know, though, and have you done anything to make up for it?
didnt even say goodbye

i totally understand what you mean
if u do not mind...how long have it been since u last been bullied...?
because maybe it's not long enough to forget about it
We had to watch this at school. It still creeps me out......
This is beautiful, meaningful and deeply sad
No matter how hard you try, bullies will keep at it until they've pushed you over the edge. People who think that's ok should be locked up.
True, but just like a boulder cannot be moved by the wind, neither can I be swayed by a mere gust of intimidation. Bullies may push, but I choose the path of strength.
so sad..even though i dun experience that type of bully, it still so sad to see that. Anyway good job on the animation.

This was a very good animation. Very well put. This should have took allot of effort.
can you guys add closed captioning as well?? english subtitles
this has brought me motivation thank you
This video touched me and made me cry so much, why does bulling exist. IT NEEDS TO STOP... NOW I'm sure you will agree with me
I wouldove cried but my tears are.all dried up from the past anti bullying videos I've seen
this video made me cry
i just wish bullies would just stop bullying

I love the way this video shows the consequences of bullying
O....M....G....makes me so sad......
I wanna use a part of this video in my documentary..Can I?
@TheAlexheroe Isn't that a bit counterproductive to the anti-bullying cause then?
This is officially my favorite Anti-bullying video
It's disgusting what bullying can do to people!
This video sure does make an impact
@moznrick- Couldn't agree more. This story, though fictional, does play out in reality far too often.
It's message- that bullying is a serious problem that must be addressed- is delivered superbly well.
how would you make a video like this? please some suggestions? for free?
Hello! How I can get the rights to broadcast this video?

* There's the TrevorProject with the videos "It get better" which are, I think, awesome and for what I've seen, touching and encouraging . :)
Our school showed up this Monday morning in assembly...
Wow I remember we were showen this at school in p.s.h.e a few years ago. Dont Know if this was made for that purpose or if our teacher happned to come across it lol but i love how this is done.
omg the ending was so damn scary..
Omg that made me tear up how sad
this happens to me everyday except on holidays...
I was bullied when I was younger. I stood up for myself, but I still got picked on.

this video is really gud.. i was bullied b4 in school and it was a torture and its sad... :( but i'm glad it has past.. :)
awww............ I know someone who considered killing themselves because of bullying and I'm sso glad that we talked him out of it.
@uiruu

@Firemoon454
u should've done it from the beggining ..before getting depressed about it..u should have not only threaten them but also do the threat and tell the teacher...
anyways i am so glad u overcame it
This reminded me of the years I was bullied in elementary school. I used to beg and cry to mom to not let me go to school each day.
