I am a watch enthusiast and TE caught my eye with a few models that to this moment have not disappointed me yet. In fact I wear them regularly and they keep good time. I know many other watch collectors might have some reservations about the brand , still I grade them to be a good buy for the money. With time they might get better and better .

I enjoyed having this one. It was fun, well made and affordable. Can’t go too wrong with that.

My first mechanical watch was a TE skeleton watch and it is still in my collection

I was really impressed with how much fun this watch is for the low cost.

Great review! I have a couple of unique watches like this that I wear for fun. As a teacher, it really gets the students' attention. Plus, it makes them interested in a watch that is not a "smart" watch!

Anything to get away from those smart watches hahahaha

Well,i would say that in a room full of people, it would almost certainly be the funkiest watch,so if you want to stand out it would work well for that...i could not see myself wearing it, but it does look like a fun piece.

I don't know what the watch you got is but the Armstrong that your like goes to is a much better looking watch if you want to see the two balance wheels and is a better size at 42mm. But as long as you enjoy the watch that's what matters. I would love to see a report on this watch like a year from now. Keep up the great videos James.

Sacrificing for the youtube watchers! Great video and I appreciate that you took a risk on a watch, so that we don't have to. This is a very interesting watch and brand that I've seen advertised, but never reviewed. It certainly has many features and aspects found on high end luxury watches, so this brings that aesthetic to the common man. It does have some beautiful features. the clock dial is lovely. Personally, I would have loved if you could have reached out to thomas earnshaw [assuming you hadn't] and gotten some more information about this movement, the two balance wheels and information about regulating your movement and what their standards are since it's so wildly off [who knows, maybe they'd give you something for sending you a brand new watch that keep such bad time].

It has turned out to be a really fun and different watch to have. Great that it has been affordable as well.

Interesting review, I think we've all seen these watches for sale and wondered what the quality is like and how the movement would look on a timegrapher 😁 . Now we know, and to be honest, I was quite impressed, I'm sure it could be regulated within 20 seconds a day, it does look pretty cool too. I won't be buying one, but I'm glad you did 👍

I dunno mate, it's a pretty doubtful watch to me. I think I'd rather go for an Escapement Time Breguet homage and get a somewhat decent quartz movement and a better overall look. The finishing on them seems a bit better too, and to me these kinds of classic watches live and die by their finishing and the simplicity of their designs, and this one is a bit of a pale shadow. Glad you're enjoying it though, and that's the main thing, nothing I say should change that :)

It is a polarising one. But I’ve found it fun

This looks it has an extremely similar movement to one of the Ailang Ali Express watches, definitely a cheap Chinese movement and the case and dial looks the same, so maybe from their factory or Olevs, another skeleton watch maker. If people like this style I suppose it's ok, but you'll probably buy a lot cheaper from Ali Express with a similar movement, somewhere around $50. In fact there are a few with exactly the same dial configuration. It has a very English sounding name but it's as English as chop suey I imagine 😁. Definitely not for me as I'm not into this type of watch but for those who are, I think there are actually nicer looking ones in my opinion on Ali Express for less.

It’s a bit weird. You have a watch review channel so it makes sense to try out different watches. But for me, if I’m not going to wear a watch, I’m not going to buy it even if it’s $9, let alone $90. Thanks for the entertaining review!
