  • Tasmania Road Trip - Is Cockle Creek the best camp in Tassie? Aussie Caravanning Family / Travelling Buckinghams.
We spent 2 weeks camped up at this incredible location, we took on the two walks from here - Fishers Point & South Cape Walk and explore the most southern part of Australia.
Beach and bush camping, diving for crayfish, chucking oysters and feasting on some of the best food available from the ocean. If you are touring Tasmania this place is a must camp and totally free!

    Hey Peeps,
This was the best camp we found in Tasmania - our travel friends and weather made it completely perfect. If you are heading to Tassie make sure you check out this place & there are a couple of epic walks that way too!

A tip : watch movies on kaldroStream. I've been using it for watching all kinds of movies lately.

I’ve had no interest in visiting any cold places since a freezing trip to China a few years ago, but I think you’ve changed my mind! This place looks gorgeous, such spectacular scenery. X

Yes I thought that way too - whenever we had holidays it was the tropics only. But try to go in the warmer months, but there is a lot of hiking too so fun to do when it was a little cooler. Plus loads of wineries too1

Drone filming in Tasmania? Did you have a permit

We camped on the other side of the creek outside of the National Park as we have pets. Such a beautiful spot ❤️

The whole area is Drone free. Check the signs in any long drop or any of the 5 info signs.
Better to be safe than sorry. Fines are not cheap, and they take the drone. 😢

Ripper spot, did you see any decent fish when snorkelling?

No fish really, about that time there was a heap of salmon that got loose from the nets. Friends had caught a few and they were excellent. But mainly down there was seaweed, got some abalone & crays. So pretty stoked with that.

Pity the loud music spoiled the video.
