@@margaritasauce4235 That should be the bare minimum for a BILLION dollar company An easy way to understand the difference between a million dollars and a billion dollars is to remember that 1 million seconds is 11.5 days, but 1 billion seconds is 31.7 YEARS 2 guys in a shack making a game on a genuinely crappy game engine shouldnt be making better features though i do understand why mihoyo wouldnt want to add something that takes up a lot of work and has a good chance of being hated by fans
PvP toggle seriously has to be a thing, obviously it could automatically turn off when claiming islands for your clan or something. vetex likes PvP, however alot of people don’t, and it shouldn’t be forced on us just cause vetex wants to have it. Vetex has never felt the pain of getting your ship randomly sunk when it’s full of cargo or sealed chests, because he doesn’t even play the game, and when he does he just uses his god magic
sorry to burst your bubble, but Impact Fist will never work the same as it did in AA, if you looked at the trello for fighting styles Impact Fist will gain charge from either taking damage or block/parrying, but that is still being decided.
@zerovsgaming6729 I think it would be better if all these were chosen, the user should gain the most charge from raw damage, and blocking and parrying as a safer option.
I've had an idea for a fighting style for a little while and I figured I'd suggest it here I'd like for this style to be obtained regularly under a mentor, but if it's proved to be overpowered or too strong in certain aspects, it could be a lost fighting style for the sake of balancing, but I'm open to any suggestions regarding changes too. Description: "Ambit Fist - A fighting style that focuses on charging blows to deliver powerful, concentrated, and concise attacks." - (lvl 100) 200+ strength requirement), intended for late/mid Nimbus sea storyline or later Ambit Fist's gimmick is to charge attacks to amplify it's effects to gain noticeable statbuffs. It'd have a meter similarly to sailor/thermo fist, and the longer you charge your attack, the higher the meter would go up and dish out more favorable effects. The energy meter energy will drain just like thermo fist, you're not meant to build up and retain energy passively. Ultimately this would all pair well with a high resistance stat, allowing you to charge and take less damage against enemies whilst prime your move to it's full potential. - Balancing wise, in it's base state it's functionally basic combat but with less damage (0.8) - My pitched base speed without being charged is 1.0 - And a pitched size of 0.9 size or less As for the charged state when you prime your attacks to full, it'd be quicker, deal more power, and have significantly more size. - If you're to hold your move to full it'd deal the dmg approximate of 1.0 to 1.1 - The max speed while being charged would be 1.25 - And the max size of 1.05 Mentor characterization pitch outline: Makai Nowik (random name), is an older individual (around 50 or so in physical depiction) who found himself being more patient than those around him. He'd meditate regularly, and would often concentrate on the world around him and his place in it. Makai was an active fighter, but found himself being more on the defensive because of his mellow attitude. In his younger years of studying under multiple teachers lead him dissatisfied, nothing he tried fit his defensive but intense style of fighting. Thusly, he created his own fighting style "Ambit Fist"
3:03 I was the one who asked this question on behalf of my primary friend group. It's most likely they got naval mines (if you've seen finding nemo you know exactly what they look like, they're pretty iconic) mixed up with depth charges which is a common mistake.

I heard something about fps issues and stuff, i think i have found one of these that cause low fps, and that is with each time you open inventory you lose a bit of fps, like for example if you would be constantly gifting deckhands (or leveling stuff in forge) then you will be from 60 fps to 10 fps in almost no time. And rejoining is a temporary fix, but it does reset your fps from 10 back to 60

16:55 Ive created an idea for a fighting style that I call "Bullet Fist" Description: "By training your body to be much lighter then it should, you feel as light as a feather and can punch with intense precision and speed to persistently barrage and combo your opponents." Strength: weaker then boxing, Stronger then cannon fist. Speed: Fast as fully charged thermo fist Size: Boxing level small. Unique passive: You can land multiple punches in one attack, (one hit is now like 3 or more dependant on your agility) when the amount of punches increase, the damage of each lower, but the total damage rises (Forgo about this) Dodge Reflex: Twin Flash: two instant but short ranged dodges, you can get one more with alot of agility though. Im still hyped for future styles though!
@djlesco77 yeah the damage for multihits scales off of agility, and maybe it's damage could be nerfed to be equal with cannon fist in terms of raw damage.
To be honest "I" still think that "world of magic" is more fun because u can attack all the npcs and there is almost "almost" no level cap "its 10,000" but it takes so long so its "almost" impossible to get. The only down thing for "me" is the lag.

Like, parties, celebrations, invasions, wars etc. stuff that doesnt progress the main storyline but expands the world itself, making it feel more alive. i think changing your first magic would be harder than changing your fighting style due to lore reasons, magic is much more ingrained into your being than a fighting style.
I think we need like vampires in the dark sea as while sailing in the dark sea we have a chance to incounter a castle where vampire type npc are in the castle and we can raid it and take alot of dark sealed chest in it from the top of the castle where idk a boss type vampire spawns just a suggestion

Whips are cool and should be kept for really high levels like maybe 150+ as exclusive mini boss drops. You can’t get them from chests or Atlanteans, they are super rare.

Okay, everything I hear is great. EXCEPT 21:15, about PvP toggle. "Pretty much just because we feel like most people would have it off, and then like there would be no PvP really." That's *exactly* why most people want it. PvP is the worst part of the game to a majority of the player base. If you feel like everyone would use a feature, that's a reason to add it, not a reason to avoid it.
pvp is part of the game, you'd might aswell remove it instead of adding pvp toggle because everyone would have it on - it'd make entire game aspects like bounty hunting players useless
@@luigifernando_ Not if you put a cap on renown while PvP is off. Bounty hunters still get to hunt high bounties, while toxic players leave PvE players alone. You can't imagine how many people would keep PvP on just because they want to see the funny number go up.
Getting jumped isn’t fun, but vetex will never add it cause he just pulls out god magic when he gets ganked, and also he never has a ship full of dark sealed chests to lose to pvp nerds
@@Selatapey I have actually had a conversation in DMs with a tester, and the tester (who agreed with me on wanting a switch) relayed Vetex's opinions on PvP to me. It was... absurd. Vetex said that this update and the next eould make ganking less common and more punishable. The only PvP change this update is that: "Positive renown players can no longer damage each other through any means unless they are in party with friendly fire turned on, fighting on a claimed island, fighting on an arena island, or fighting in Elysium." Basically solving nothing, because gankers will just reset their fame. Worst thing is, having a switch would probably make PvP *more alive* than it is today, if you look at how a switch affects other similar games...

@@RealCetanPatriotPerhaps not impossible by strength, but impossible by endurance, the amount of supplies you'd need is to much to put together. In order to reach the seven seas, it would involve going through the far reaches of the dark sea, which is doable, the problem is you'd have to do it for a very long time, and you'd run out of supplies, such as warding potions and repair materials and realistically, run out of food as well, since you cannot trust any food you find in the dark sea, since it would be tainted by the magic poluted waters and rain and possibly even the air. Averill was able to make it all the way around the world, but he is a light curse wielder, so he is on a whole other level when it comes to strength and endurance.
when people wanna get pvp toggle, the bountyhunting and assassination system will be ruined at most. So bounty and fame with those systems will be useless, so pvp toggle is not need to be added

I personally think there should be another learnable skill (like dodge reflex) which increases your running speed while outside of combat by imbuing magic or something like that into your running

Will magics get something like this as well? Also, how would spirit imbuement work lore wise if only the gods could manipulate spirit and MOST people can't manipulate it, requiring spirit weapons to use it?
well you'd probably get spirit imbuement as an awakening, and we got our first one from poseidon so maybe there's gonna be another god that will help us in the future
There is a way to do it, if you take a bunch of legendary massive fish and cook it in a golden cooking pot in the dark sea, the amount of hunger you can get from it is wild, and yeah hunger still overlaps, but they changed it where it can only do that if your eating the same dish, you can't stack dishes together anymore, since it was pretty broken.

PvP toggle seriously has to be a thing, obviously it could automatically turn off when claiming islands for your clan or something. vetex likes PvP, however alot of people don’t, and it shouldn’t be forced on us just cause vetex wants to have it. Vetex has never felt the pain of getting your ship randomly sunk when it’s full of cargo or sealed chests, because he doesn’t even play the game, and when he does he just uses his god magic

sorry to burst your bubble, but Impact Fist will never work the same as it did in AA, if you looked at the trello for fighting styles Impact Fist will gain charge from either taking damage or block/parrying, but that is still being decided.

I've had an idea for a fighting style for a little while and I figured I'd suggest it here
I'd like for this style to be obtained regularly under a mentor, but if it's proved to be overpowered or too strong in certain aspects, it could be a lost fighting style for the sake of balancing, but I'm open to any suggestions regarding changes too.
Description:
"Ambit Fist - A fighting style that focuses on charging blows to deliver powerful, concentrated, and concise attacks."
- (lvl 100) 200+ strength requirement), intended for late/mid Nimbus sea storyline or later
Ambit Fist's gimmick is to charge attacks to amplify it's effects to gain noticeable statbuffs. It'd have a meter similarly to sailor/thermo fist, and the longer you charge your attack, the higher the meter would go up and dish out more favorable effects. The energy meter energy will drain just like thermo fist, you're not meant to build up and retain energy passively. Ultimately this would all pair well with a high resistance stat, allowing you to charge and take less damage against enemies whilst prime your move to it's full potential.
- Balancing wise, in it's base state it's functionally basic combat but with less damage (0.8)
- My pitched base speed without being charged is 1.0
- And a pitched size of 0.9 size or less
As for the charged state when you prime your attacks to full, it'd be quicker, deal more power, and have significantly more size.
- If you're to hold your move to full it'd deal the dmg approximate of 1.0 to 1.1
- The max speed while being charged would be 1.25
- And the max size of 1.05

3:03 I was the one who asked this question on behalf of my primary friend group. It's most likely they got naval mines (if you've seen finding nemo you know exactly what they look like, they're pretty iconic) mixed up with depth charges which is a common mistake.
Can't wait for Nimbus Sea, I got a bit tired of playing in the Bronze Sea and now that I hear about the new content, can't wait to envision more of the storyline :D.

I heard something about fps issues and stuff, i think i have found one of these that cause low fps, and that is with each time you open inventory you lose a bit of fps, like for example if you would be constantly gifting deckhands (or leveling stuff in forge) then you will be from 60 fps to 10 fps in almost no time.
And rejoining is a temporary fix, but it does reset your fps from 10 back to 60

Ive created an idea for a fighting style that I call "Bullet Fist"
Description: "By training your body to be much lighter then it should, you feel as light as a feather and can punch with intense precision and speed to persistently barrage and combo your opponents."
Strength: weaker then boxing, Stronger then cannon fist.
Speed: Fast as fully charged thermo fist
Size: Boxing level small.
Unique passive: You can land multiple punches in one attack, (one hit is now like 3 or more dependant on your agility) when the amount of punches increase, the damage of each lower, but the total damage rises
(Forgo about this) Dodge Reflex: Twin Flash: two instant but short ranged dodges, you can get one more with alot of agility though.
Im still hyped for future styles though!

i think changing your first magic would be harder than changing your fighting style due to lore reasons, magic is much more ingrained into your being than a fighting style.
I think we need like vampires in the dark sea as while sailing in the dark sea we have a chance to incounter a castle where vampire type npc are in the castle and we can raid it and take alot of dark sealed chest in it from the top of the castle where idk a boss type vampire spawns just a suggestion

pvp is part of the game, you'd might aswell remove it instead of adding pvp toggle because everyone would have it on - it'd make entire game aspects like bounty hunting players useless
@@luigifernando_ Not if you put a cap on renown while PvP is off. Bounty hunters still get to hunt high bounties, while toxic players leave PvE players alone. You can't imagine how many people would keep PvP on just because they want to see the funny number go up.
Getting jumped isn’t fun, but vetex will never add it cause he just pulls out god magic when he gets ganked, and also he never has a ship full of dark sealed chests to lose to pvp nerds
@@Selatapey I have actually had a conversation in DMs with a tester, and the tester (who agreed with me on wanting a switch) relayed Vetex's opinions on PvP to me.
It was... absurd. Vetex said that this update and the next eould make ganking less common and more punishable. The only PvP change this update is that: "Positive renown players can no longer damage each other through any means unless they are in party with friendly fire turned on, fighting on a claimed island, fighting on an arena island, or fighting in Elysium."
Basically solving nothing, because gankers will just reset their fame.
Worst thing is, having a switch would probably make PvP *more alive* than it is today, if you look at how a switch affects other similar games...

In order to reach the seven seas, it would involve going through the far reaches of the dark sea, which is doable, the problem is you'd have to do it for a very long time, and you'd run out of supplies, such as warding potions and repair materials and realistically, run out of food as well, since you cannot trust any food you find in the dark sea, since it would be tainted by the magic poluted waters and rain and possibly even the air. Averill was able to make it all the way around the world, but he is a light curse wielder, so he is on a whole other level when it comes to strength and endurance.

Spirit imbuement makes sense to me now, so long as you have a spirit weapon on your being you have access to it, for instance the bracelet mentioned.
well you'd probably get spirit imbuement as an awakening, and we got our first one from poseidon so maybe there's gonna be another god that will help us in the future

There is a way to do it, if you take a bunch of legendary massive fish and cook it in a golden cooking pot in the dark sea, the amount of hunger you can get from it is wild, and yeah hunger still overlaps, but they changed it where it can only do that if your eating the same dish, you can't stack dishes together anymore, since it was pretty broken.
