It's great to see Lazarus doing well, I do hope he makes it. The baby Ohias look beautiful, the variety of colors they have is so pretty. Those baby ferns look neat edging the path of destruction. I think you have Lavawalking down to an art! 😊❤
It’s been almost 5 years since the eruption, and it’s amazing how plants find a way of growing in inhospitable places. Thank you for the quick tour Scott 👍👍👍👍
Fascinating and heartening, seeing the flow reclaimed. The speed and tenacity of those ferns especially is amazing. Thanks for taking us along; may your lot keep getting ever more verdant!
A question or 2. The trees that are fallen/burned are they ohia? And has anyone else bought lava lots close or far from yours? Always interesting to see what's growing. Will you garden any part of this lot?
It is amazing how much greenery there is out there in lava. "Life will find a way!"
I love your lot. It is my happy place even though I'll never see it. Thank you, Scott, for sharing.
I like the Ti tree too.
Thanks for the walkabout. Always interesting to see the Lava lot and what is growing.
Thanx Scott for the update....love watching the changes over time. 💜

Isn't nature just tenacious, always interesting to see the changes on the lava lot, thanks for showing us round again Scott, it's great !! 👍
I've enjoyed the occasional native orchid spotting in your videos over the years

Looks like you have a good collection of new ohia's growing out there. They are cute when they are tiny like that. Then they grow to be beautiful.
Gotta love the evolution of your lava lot. Every ohia tree is special.
Thanks for the great walking tour!
That Lazarus...What a bad ass!
Toll zu sehen, wie sich die Pflanzen ihr Land zurück erobern 👍 Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland
The tree that won’t die,lot of plants taking root, strange how something can grow in rock lava, you gonna have a jungle one day
Love the close ups!
It is remarkable how Ohiā trees can grow out of lava; how their roots drop through crevices to reach water.
Hi Scott looks like things are coming back
Nice video. Thanks for the tour
Wonderful video. Ty
Ive often wondered if you crushed up all that lava could you plant and establish more varied plants quicker.

That really big one is albezia, the rest are ohia. Yes, others have purchased lots. I will not garden the lot. Thanks for watching.
@@ApauHawaiiTours thanks for answering.
Still finding interesting things on the lava lot.
I remember your hole digging videos! But I’m trying to remember if one of those was when you dropped your phone in a hole?
Been so long I can't remember. :-)
