I live in St.Croix Carambola so knowing what is edible here makes me happy. So far I’ve found Sapodilla, mango, starfruit, passionfruit and tamarind. Tropical fruit is just magical.
@@TheSquishyMonster Angela Hi! It's great to hear from you! My wife and I are mid-island near Beeston Hill. We watched your videos about the island before we moved here and now we've been here about 7months. We actually saw you guys at Cane Bay one afternoon but I didn't want to go fan boy and disturb you. I'm excited to hear from you!
@@TheSquishyMonster I'm one of the few people out there that doesn't use Facebook, but I'll ask the Mrs. to reach out. She loves to cook, it would be amazing if you could show her some recipes! If we happen to see you again at the beach sometime, I'll say hello, I'm pretty sure you'll know it's me, I kinda stand out! : )
Angela....it seems the VI is home for you, love your videos. I was thinking to buy a land to live n grow vegetables ...close enough to locals for purchase. I have never been there but looking to take a vacation / business trip when safe to travel. Any suggestions as to what part of the island may be ideal?
Hi, Mekaigg. That's a great question. We live and love West which gets more rain. The entire island can be driven in about an hour so it's not very big but we have microclimates from east to west. For insider tips, check out my ebook. For a day to day look on stx, check out my ig (where I'm most active). Both of these are linked below the video. Best of luck, Mekaigg! The island awaits :)
Surinam cherries ha! Strongest plant ever!
Is it the strongest?
I started with one video. Now I'm binge watching all of Angela's videos and considering moving to the Virgin islands.
Best comment ever, Jamie! Sending you and yours so much love ❤️

Rainy season is upon us. We just planted a bunch so I hope the rain comes too.

The island is so beautiful I can't wait to be there
Hooray!
Thank you for sharing. The video was so relaxing, and those red fruits looked really yummy
So yummy! I wish I could send some through the screen :)
TheSquishyMonster LOL!!! IKR!! Me too
Hi sweet Angela, always good to see a video from you❤️
Hi, love! I’m sending you huge hugs! I hope you have a beautiful weekend!
Very nice video... Do you know of any Off Grid/Living on The Land communities or people I can connect with in USVI?
Hi, Zion! Check out the guys at Mt. Victory. They’re doing some awesome things.
@@TheSquishyMonster thank you!
Is this at a park or a random walk?
Hi, Leonard! It’s where we used to live. You can always forage for things like kidney mango pretty much anywhere though!
Are you by Ridge to Reef?
We are! Are you too?
