It has a historic romance to it, of back in the day when generations all lived in the same town, and you never get that anymore. Happy that these sorts of traditions are still taking place today. Having your grandmother's house is so special.. I have the entire bedroom set of my great great grandparents. It's over 100 years old and I'm so blessed to have it. To look into the same mirror that generations before me did is so special to me.

I very much know what you mean about being incredibly grateful for being able to live in a home that means the world to you. My 20 yo son, husband, and I live in my childhood home. This house was built in 1988, we moved in on Halloween that year, I was 11. My dad was a residential hone designer for 30+ years. He passed due to aml leukemia in 2012. So grateful to be here, he and my late sister are all around me here.

A heads up for the Bathroom that we learned from our contractor, don't tile the floor in the shower, get a floor insert, apparently, according to him, they tend to end up leaking within the 5-7 year range. Tiling the wall's perfectly fine, but in his experience doing the floor too causes leaks. You didn't mention it but I wanted to put that out there with how much you see it on HGTV and all that

The more you have, the more you need to clean. There is nothing wrong with blank walls and mostly empty shelves 😊 BTW I love the layout!!! My favorite pieces are the shell casings that you turned into flower pots and the chairs that you got. What a deal!!!

And Nona, I had a dog named Chainsaw, a mini-pit bull terrier, and I could just say at random times "Chainsaw, kill!" and she would run to the door barking hahahahaha. She was so funny. Little 25 pound dog that thought she was the baddest dog on the block lol.

I lost the love of my life, Jexer, the bestest Boston Terrier in the world in 2016. He too enjoyed a bed/blanket in the sun & would also grab a toy, not for anyone to play with or anything - No he just wanted to show them to you. He would share unless you squeaked them & then he'd take it away & put it in his bed. The best 11 years of my life and I miss him even now but seeing Ren makes me happy!

My suggestion is do marble in the shower or man made marble looks exactly the same. There’s zero scrubbing or cleaning like tile. You spray it with scrubbing bubbles and rinse. Seriously if you love the look of marble then do your bathroom showers and tubs in it. I’ve had mine since 96 and it looks the same as the day I moved in. It’s beautiful and man made marble is cheaper but looks and feels the same
If you ever want to do a deep collection (like talking about everything in your collection) or declutter your makeup I personally would love to watch it no matter how long. I don’t comment much but I’ve been watching your channel for a few years and will watch any and every video so thank you for posting ❤️
