Yo, Ryan. You always make it look so effortless. I'm off to Pas de la Casa in Andorra next week and will be trying to do your ABC of snowboarding. Always Be Carving.
Just back from Val Thornes, 3 Valleys France for a week, spring snowboarding very warm and runs no where near as perfect as that, Im well jealous. But thats the head cleared of the buzz fuzz noise for a while😉
Hi! May I ask what is your binding distance? It seems not mentioned in your personal website. How do you adjust binding distance in order to bend knees more deeply/smoothly. Working on this recently but still not find my comfort spot yet😅It will be really helpful if you could share some thoughts, thank you!
China's snow season has begun, and your 12.8 million fans are waiting for your updated videos. Whether my figure eight carving skills can go from entry-level to advanced depends on you, uncle.
I don't think any of it is easy, to be honest. I've never seen anyone with smooth moves like that in real life. But that's how people think they look.😂
It's not difficult to do to be honest if you are good at riding and switch. It's just difficult to do as smoothly as Ryan which takes years of practice.
Hi Ryan, I just found out about bomber canting plates. I saw your video from 9 years ago and left a question there but being such an old video I wasn't sure you would see it. This is why I am taking a chance asking about it here. I know you now ride super wide boards and probably do not need those plate on risers but I would like to get your opinion about them now 9 years later. would you still use them if your boards were narrower or are they no longer worth the price. In my case I was interested because of the canting possibility. In other reviews there was mention that they were quite heavy. Your comments on that also would be nice. Thanks in advance. Love watching your videos. Larry
great riding as always. I first learned of you about a half dozen years back. Now, I notice you being much, much more aware of your surroundings when you ride- that is smart but, it needs to be more emphasized to your followers/students as well. Riding awareness/safety when snowboarding. Just like driving, one needs to be aware of their surroundings to help avoid crashes with others. Not sure if your other viewers noticed as I did. It is not just for safety reasons, if is also to be more considerate of others on the run. Many snowboarders lack this quality, esp younger ones. I make a point to look up the run each time I am on my toe side. I do not like surprises, esp when snowboarding. thank you
Jo ryan i watched your videos pretty often and i wanna get a donek snowboard but im in switzerland and it tells me on your website that it only gets in china and usa
hey Ryan love that you have posted a video! missing the old content where you uploaded very regular with just riding clips and the tutorials/ tips. will you be getting back to doing that next season? 2/3 vids a season is killing me lol used to get so excited every few days when you uploaded 3/4 seasons ago!
Anyone know what the second song is? It’s a banger. I checked Ryan’s music listings, which show the artist as Dutty, but when I search for it that’s a completely different track
Ryan, I'm in the process of purchasing a Knapton Twin. I've contacted Donek and we've got the ball rolling. However their suggesting a board longer in length than I actually want. I'm 6 feet tall 70 kilos 155lbs. I would like a board at 155 in length with a 29cm waist. What do you think ? Anybody else who could give a valued opinion would ge great as well. Many thanks.
Amazing carving ! The range of tricks is so limited with selfie stick. We NEED you to get a cameraman so the whole potential of your amazing style is revealed to the public...please
@@AJDIYNetwork Enjoy! It's great fun. I started learning at 40 and I wish I'd started 35 years earlier. Had some fun on a few trips but it's too hard for me now.
@@valderja thank you! I may go one more time before season ends from where I live. I used to skateboard and surf back in day. I find this way more harder
@@AJDIYNetworki have had only 1 week of snowboard and just done some wandering around for a couple of months with the skate and i find skate way more harder. The fact you are not bound to the board makes it so hard for me to catch up with a mistake so I don’t dare taking any risks. How do you do it ? 😅 In snowboard it is also much easier to stop from high speed. I can’t handle even a fraction of the downhill gradient I managed to ride after 1 week of snowboard.
Awesome riding as usual. Awful music though mate, sounded like it belongs on a kids tv show. The sound the board makes on the snow is better. But, up to you!
My son summed it up perfectly, Ryan actually rides how we all feel we look while snowboarding
That is exactly how I looked myself when snowboarding. 😂😂😂
Now booked up for La Plagne, France mid march, cant wait for the noise to stop, and just breath. I wish I had half your skills, top class
Always great to see a new Knapton video. Aspirational goals!
Sick vid Ryan! You make snowboarding look so graceful . Keep up the vids!
I think the term butter came directly from watching your style! Smooth.. love the vids!
what in the world! the lifting/transitioning of the tail is so smooth that it was like a slow motion:)
You're my hero Ryan.
Good to see you back!
Absolutely loving these short casual runs, so much to observe and learn on in one video!
The aggressive short turns are so much fun when the snow is right and the runs are empty.
Interesting that they're mostly all down unweighted turns.
Pure joy to watch you carve.
Pure turns as always🔥
Amazing, on the start of the first videoed run, you can see your own track from your previous run almost perfect sync with the current one.
So smooth and silky 🏂
Somebody's rockin' an Insta360! Awesome vid, goes to show you don't need to rip double-black carves to enjoy smooth trenches. Don't ever change Ryan!
Love you buddy ! You make it look so fluid so easy ! Thank you !

The season is ending and Ryan finally published the first video on YT.
How much do you pay him for higher frequency posting?
That’s what I thought
@@kedodoodonc I bought merch from his website. If he posts more video, I’d watch every single one, send some tips, buy more merch.
I'm glad he did! Thanks Ryan, we love to see you ride!
Nice and easy, Mr. Knapton.
Super Awesome Ryan. Loved it
Loved it!
Damn, your riding is so smooth. Enjoyed this video a lot. Thanks.
i hope you had a great season ryan!
Welcome back man! What a banger!
Finally after long carving hypnotist is on move 😂❤
Carving is so good.
The KING 💪💪💪
Great as usual!
Runs to yourself, and always being aware of your surroundings. 👍
Been following you for years. Would love to see you demo a 2swift eboard this summer. I need to know if it carves.

great video - have you ever tried posi posi and if so how did it feel?
You lay some deep turns ryan knapton, you almost drag your knee like a motogp rider

Hey, Ryan... Word, man! Those honey-smooth step-overs are so damn tasty...
Hey, amigo... *What jacket are you kickin' in this vid?*
Anyone knows where these trails are in the video?
Ok, found it: Breckenridge, CO
Qupla'!! ❤
Вы тот мужик, который заставил меня в 40 лет полюбить борд.
меня тоже но в 43 😀
How tall are you?
Where is this green you carve my friend?
Breckenridge Rips Ride. It's pretty flat, but it almost always has good grooming. ✅
10/10
А как вы так плыгаите

Pencil lines ..... 😎👊♥🏂
bro, wheres your line of supplements?
Nice cruizing. 8 runs, 9 minutes. At my home hill, that would barely be 4 minutes of footage.
👍
not a single dislike
Looks so easy... wanna it do too, but dont get it...🤷♂️
That’s supposed be easy???
Easy runs, he's just going fast. 😂
