    Great vid! Thanks for doing those. I'm thinking about getting one, but have still tons of questions, which I couldn't find answers to anywhere else so far...Could you do a video about how to adjust the valves please? Also any other maintenance vid would be ace. (changing the tires/wheels, adjusting the chain, handlebars, installing the quickshifter, changing break pads, brake pipes, etc). Are those maintenance work doable by someone with no such experience? Also are there any specific tools to Ohvale required for this or do any standard tools for other bikes/cars work? And is it possible for one person to lift the bike and move it to the back of the car or you actually need a ramp to push it up on? Also, how do you transport it? Are there any special stands for transporting it? Also, if you've tried the 160 version - can you compare the two? 160 vs 190? Is it a massive difference? Thanks a lot!

      Hello, Sorry for the delayed response. Thanks for watching. I hope my answers help you...
      I will do a valve adjustment video shortly, maybe a month or so.
      I will look to do a full maintenance video doing all the items you mentioned, probably when I do the valves.
      All the maintenance items are doable from someone with little mechanical knowledge. If I do my video well enough you should be able to follow along to complete each task as i do.
      No specific tools for the ohvale. Mainly an 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 17 mm wrenches and a set of Metric allen keys.
      A simple piece of wood works as a make shift ramp, however I have lifted the front tire and put it on my bumper then lifted the rear to walk to the bike into my wife's car. It is definitely doable.
      no special transporting stands. I have a van that I load it into.
      I have ridden a 160 and I would tell someone who is getting into mini biking that the 160 is perfect, all you require to go fast and have fun. The 190 can be tricky to ride because it has so much power. More chances to high side the bike coming out of turns. The power is not massive, but definitely noticeable.

    Hey! The rear shok comes with some white plastic rings on it, I see yours still had them on this video, aren’t those for transportation only too? As those black rubbers on the engine? Can they be removed? Tks

    • @MartinoDesign99

      Never noticed them. I am sure they are limiting travel in the full stroke but the chances of bottoming them out is pretty unlikely.

    Hello,
    I am having a hard time putting back my rear wheel. The brake caliper is touching the rim and I cannot set it back in position.
    Do I need to unscrew some screws to put it back ?
    Otherwise I have mounted your seat sliders on my Ohvale and they fit perfectly thank you again !

    • @MartinoDesign99
      @MartinoDesign99  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The stock suspension in the rear is good enough. Upgrade to the adjustable front suspension or the ohlins. The base, non adjustable isn’t the best.

    Mate do you use rear brake ? I can’t use it with that starter

    • @MartinoDesign99
      @MartinoDesign99  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha I know the frustration. I didn’t use it for the longest time but it helps settle the bike a lot when you start using it. I have two suggestions. (1) make the lever as short as possible. By moving the little piece that goes under your foot closer to the rear tire. It actually helps to get your foot on to it. (2) Norton Motorsports sells a rear set relocation plate that pulls the rear sets back an inch. Good luck.

    How hard is yours to start? Mine is ridiculously hard to start

    • @MartinoDesign99
      @MartinoDesign99  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mine will either start on the first kick or it’s super hard to start. The issue is the carb floods almost instantly. If you don’t get it started on the first kick simply hold the throttle wide open and give it a kick, guaranteed start! It pulls more air through with the throttle wide open.

    Where did the clear bodywork come from, did you make it or purchase from Ohvale?

  • @jamessmith-vx1ie
    @jamessmith-vx1ie 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey dude, how often do the Daytona’s require a refresh? Also any idea if you can fit evo bodywork on a pre evo or any other suggestions to improve leg space?

    • @MartinoDesign99
      @MartinoDesign99  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are consistent with Maintanence and oil changes you can get about 45 hours out of the engine before a rebuild. The EVO body work will bolt right onto the pre EVO frames. Also Norton Motorsports sells a rear set extender bracket. Helps with leg room.

    • @jamessmith-vx1ie
      @jamessmith-vx1ie 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s great I’m used to cheaper pitbikes that seem to need a refresh more often. Super helpful and great to know on bodywork and the rearsets, I’m 5 11 and sat on it for first time today admittedly without leathers but it’s not as bad as I expected to be honest but add a touch extra room wouldn’t go a miss. Finally any idea if there are other 10inch wheels that fit?

    A little late comment but I just got my 160 yesterday! I do have a question for ya: when you first got it, did it take several tries to kickstart it for the first time? Awesome video I’m glad I found this before I started messing with everything 😂

    • @MartinoDesign99
      @MartinoDesign99  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it does take a couple kicks the first time. It has to pull the fuel through the carb. Also make sure your petcock is open all the way.

    How to connect wire of 212cc to 160cc

    • @3djellyjelsen

      The 160 has 4 wire only going to engine and the 212 has 6

    • @MartinoDesign99

      The only wires the 160 the 190 and the 212 engines have are for the magneto (3 wires) which keeps the coil power up for the spark plug. The fourth wire is a ground. There really isn’t much more to it than that.

    Your advice about taking off the black plastics in the engine is WRONG!!! They are there to avoid engine vibrations, it has nothing to do with packacking. If you take it off you will notice the engine makes tinkling sounds. Look at other videos and you will see that people have them on.
