Is sea water good for swimming? It looks a bit brown in the video and did you check out the gym at all? Thanks for the video..very helpfull.

The water is fine, it’s clear. The only problem is the sand, you really need to have aqua shoes, even sandals 🩴 won’t help.

Hello! Why did you tell the sand are bad? And the pool water is very hot? Thank you!
The sands are not fine, so you really need aqua-shoes or slippers.
We went last December, so the pools are too cold for us to swim. So I guess it’s hot during summer. But don’t fret so much, the pool near the Waterpark is temperature controlled.
How tolerable was the noise from the airplanes? We usually stay up late and sleep late in the mornings. Wonder if airplanes will wake us early in the morning hours.
For me it’s tolerable.
Are drinks in the minibar cheap? (2.50-5 dirhams)
Minibar is free as this hotel is All Inclusive.

When we were there, yes all buffet only.

how much does the taxi to khalifa cost ?
Yes, highly recommended for anyone who is looking for affordable All Inclusive option.
Not sure about the taxi cost, but it will be more cheaper if you will go by taxi from the hotel to the nearest Metro Station and then take train to Dubai Mall (burj khalifa).

What about the area ? Lots of construction going on? Noise ? Dust ?
We were there during the soft opening (December). Yes there is construction going on (next to Riu) but the noise during the day is tolerable.
So, no 24-hour bar like other RIUs?
As far as I know, No.
Are kids allowed for kayaking or pelle boating?
Yes. With adult supervision.
What rating out of 10 would you give the resort?
8/10.
If it weren’t for the sand, will probably give it a 10

As far as I know, they dont offer free shuttle service.
What does 'all inclusive' mean if there's no lunch and dinner offered?
I don’t get your question, sorry. If it is AI you are asking for, then definitely breakfast, lunch, dinner with beverages is included. Otherwise, that’s not AI.

Hi Mariani. I’m not sure. But they do have Pool Day Access that you can avail if you want to use their amenities without checking in.
Kayaking, dinner,lunch break fast, pool bar, evry thing is included in room charges+??

They have 1 temperature controlled pool near the water park.
Towels are free. Just dont loose your towel cards, or else you need to pay for it.

What time is their standard check in?
The check-in time is from 15:00 to 23:30 and the check-out time is before 11:00.

But you can go to the Beach area for the 🌞.
Rixos palm is better or Riu ??
Rixos is 5 star, while Riu is only 4 star. You are paying hefty price at Rixos the Palm, with that price of course you’ll get what you paid for (baskin robbins, fresh fruits in the pool area, afternoon tea and late snack at their lounge).
Did you need to pay extra for the restaurants there or for the dinks? Or is this all inclouded. How was the beach there? Is it easy to go to the mid part of the city?

No extra payments required to eat at any of their restaurants including drinks, all are included.
The Beach is fine, although I suggest you bring aqua shoes with you as the sand is not fine.
Taxis are available if you want to go to the city.

For taxi fares, my estimate would be 20 to 30aed to get you to the nearest Metro Train Station (this can get you to Dubai Mall etc at affordable fare via Nol Card)
