My friend did this with his car. No idea what possessed him to fill the car up to the point he couldn't get any more oil in it. Luckily he called me and said what he had done, and had the sense not to try and start the engine. Drained off the excess oil, cleaned things up and he was OK. Mind you, it smoked like hell for a few hours until the oil in the exhaust burnt off. Fun times.
My neighbor did this to his Cadillac..it had that 4.-something V8..he drove it at least 5 miles.. surprisingly it wasn't smoking or puking oil...I drained about 4 qts. out of that thing. Said he kept adding oil because the oil light was on....😂
If you store engines this is besst way filled to the brim. Just yeah if u wana start it better be carefull you'll bend rods hydrolocking it
Basically you are starving the engine of oil since it can't turn it over quick enough. So you're essentially slowly destroying the engine. You can save it if you drain it in a reasonable time.

I think it could work the way Roadkill did their Chevy Monza V8 to work: connect a couple of leaf blowers to the intake. And since the 1.6 Renault engine is much smaller than the 5-liter of the Monza, it could also work with fewer blowers than the Monza (Roadkill connected 6 of them to the Monza IIRC, so there's a good chance of 2 being enough for the Renault 1.6)!
@@McBeamer94 Leaf blowers, sure, but a compressor wouldn't work.
Leaf blowers have high volume, but low pressure.
A compressor has a low volume, but can build a lot of pressure.
And for sure, that 1.6 is small, but it will rev a lot higher than that lazy old 5 liter, so the difference might not be as much as you think.
@@McBeamer94 well they barely made it work, i remember some leaf blowers getting turned on by the vacuum the other leaf blowers created.

Depends on the strength of the engine. how much power you get out of it before it blows up.

Leafblower as a supercharger next? Seen it done on a V8 before and made quite a lot of power but never seen it on a small European engine!
(Bladblazer gebruiken als supercharger, heb het wel eens op een Amerikaanse V8 gezien en had op de dyno inderdaad veel meer vermogen, maar heb het nog nooit op zo`n klein Europees motortje gezien)

Test: Als je de benzinetank nu helemaal afvult met E5, wat gebeurt er dan met je portemonnee?

Je bedoelt E98? Dat moet ik tanken door onze geweldige overheid met z'n prachtige goedkopere benzine die toch duurder word.... Ps e5 staat voor 5% bioEthanol dus zegt niets over het type..
@@janssen4624 de e95 is 10%ethanol aan de Nederlandse pomp...ik word geforceerd om 98 te tanken daar waar 5% inzit ..nou is voor mijn TFSI motor dat wel beter ..maar ze kan wel op 95 lopen
@@DreStyle e10 kan tot 10% in zitten, echter is dit vaak niet zo. e5 is vaak ethanol vrij van wat ik heb geleerd in de olieindustrie.

Volgende experiment: aangezien je nu toch met olie bezig bent, wat zou olie als koelmiddel doen? Ben met name benieuwd hoe lang de pomp het gaat volhouden en of de radiateur het zo snel kan afkoelen/wanneer hij oververhit raakt.
Sommige installaties (zoals transformatoren) gebruiken olie als koelmiddel(en als isolatiemateriaal) Dus een hele gekke gedachte is het niet.
Ben benieuwd naar het resultaat

Pannekoekenstroop is al eens eerder geprobeerd, maar zou water met afwasmiddel of groene zeep ook niet een aardig motoroliesubstituut zijn? Ik bedoel, het is lekker glad en daar gaat het toch om, plus het ontvet die vieze smeerboel mooi! Met wat geluk wordt de uitlaat een mooie bellenblazer, kun je de weg naar huis altijd weer vinden.

Add a supercharger to this magnificent car: disconnect air conditioning or some other totally useless thing, put in an air compressor, connect it to the freed belt, put air compressor outlet into the air inlet.

Ik zag laatst een plaatje van een motor waarbij zoonlief de ruitensproeiervloeistof had bijgevuld... via de dop van de motorolie. Daarna is ie net zo lang gaan rijden tot ie het niet meer deed. Dat schuim uit die motor...FANTASTISCH..!

My neighbor attempted this experiment with her lawnmower. I see her start it up and seconds later there's clouds of white smoke and its popped the dipstick off and oil is shooting up in a geyser. She was used to the very old briggs and stratton engines with the sump plug where you filled it just below the plug.

How far can you drive using just a starter motor? Take spark plugs out, maybe 24v?
Geweldig filmpje weer.
Monteer een auto airco verdamper in de kantine en het motorblok met condensor buiten tegen de muur als split unit.
Draai een keer de zuigers , krukas en drijfstangen af tot zo licht mogelijk.
Laat een motorblok op 1 of 2 cilinders lopen in onbalans. Of groot motorblok met cilinder uitschakeling maken.
Of een vrachtwagen motorblok met turbo in een boot klein bootje bouwen met direct daarop de schroefas zoals ze in Aziatische landen vaak doen.

Alcohol instead of coolant would make a good experiment. I've heard of people mixing it with water instead of antifreeze. But what happens if you put only high-proof alcohol in?
Try getting the stats on a Dyno for a normal car on 95 RON petrol and then run it on Nitro Methanol and notice the power increase.

Wij hebben het een keer bij een klant gehad! Die zat ook helemaal vol! Ja de auto bleef maar aangeven vul olie bij! Dat deed de klant netjes niet wetende dat die sensor tijd nodigt had om opnieuw te meten🤪

Be aware: rocketfuel must be mixed with normal pumpgas to work in a stock road car. And it's fumes are very dangerous if inhaled.

Inject oxygen gas or acetylene or both into the inlet
idea: every now and then you hear someone complain about having to replace headgasket due to mixing water and oil. But how about this: just use oil as coolant and see if the heater works and engine temp stays OK. No need to replace headgasket, instant profit.
I saw this done @ a 24hr endurance race. A Chevy blew a head gasket so the crew replaced the water with oil.
It ran for a while longer, but ended up @ the side of the track in a cloud of smoke.
Obvious question, what would happen if you were to seal the crankcase hermetically and maybe then add some extra oil? Chaos and oil coming out everywhere like it was a pasta strainer?
You'd start pushing oil past the oil rings into the combustion chamber, not enough oil pressure for it to spectacularly squeeze past the gaskets.

Could you try deagreaser instead of engine oil? As it´s a product from the petroleum industry.
Ideas for cool experiments: Experiment 1: Run a car on A-1 Airfuel or straight Kerosene.
Experiment 2: Drill a hole in the exhaust manifold and pump various smoke oils in to create a smoke screen from the exhaust, Diesel oil, water mixed with oil, engine oil, disco smoke oil and so forth.
please so that exact same experiment with an diesel engine i dont know if mine is well maintained as my fill stick is at the bottom max end
