As a lifelong Tyson fan I watch pretty much every video I can find about Iron Mike and this is one of the very best videos I have ever come across. We have seen his highlights over and over again but this video gave us something different by adding in the post fight interviews with Mike which very few videos actually have. It was a welcome addition from a very talented video editor. Whoever made this video congratulations on a job very well done! All of us Tyson fans appreciate your work and no matter how many times I watch Tyson's highlight reels, I'm amazed every single time. Mike Tyson had the power like George Foreman, the speed like Ali and the savagery like Sonny Liston! He was a once in a generation special talent that had he never gotten rid of Kevin Rooney, he may very well have went down in history as the 2nd heavyweight champion to retire undefeated. I still consider Tyson the greatest fighter to ever lace up the gloves. There will never be another Iron Mike. He was a genetic freak of nature so to speak. His raw power and blinding speed were courtesy of his greek god like physique. At age 13 he was 195lbs of pure muscle looking more like a grown man than a 7th grader. He was a physical specimen that was born to do what he did and he was spectacular at what he did for a living: destroying trained fighting men and he made it look so easy.

@@staceymarshall7016 - I agree with you to a certain extent. There were many issues that caused Tyson’s declining.
The biggest issue being all the bloodsucking-reptilian mofo’s who target young, newly rich megastars. Mike was just too young to handle worldwide stardom and all of the vultures, who targeted him because he was young and naive, including Robin Givens and her mother. They manipulated him into believing that he was unbeatable, that he didn’t have to put the work in and he didn’t have to train. It’s the manipulation factor that led to Mike cutting off ties with the people who got him to where he was, like Rooney and Clayton.
I first noticed Mike had plateaued after the Thomas fight. The distractions were affecting his progress and he began missing training sessions. And that eventually led to the firing of Clayton and Rooney.
And remember we’re talking about a matter of 1 years and 5 fights from the Thomas to the Spinks fight.

oh yeah, im in the UK i can remember all those nights mostly waiting until 5am
for the fight to start. it was always a massive event that we all gathered in someones house for. the only thing that was annoying was waiting all night for the fight and then it sometimes over in seconds, but that was all part of it. those opponents of mikes had the fear of death on there faces a lot of them looked like they were going up against a firing squad. sick days dont think we will see anything like him again.

Have you noticed how polite, humble, down to earth Mike Tyson is?
He possesses a very high level of sportsmanship.
    Why?
Because, he always mentions his trainers during the press interview and at the end of his fights.
Because no matter what he is doing and what state of mind he is in, he politely and very promptly responses to his opponents, as they come to congratulate him.

Probably the best Mike Tyson video I've seen, so very well put together! The passage of time only seems to reinforce what an exceptional young man he really was! An almost unbelievably ferocious fighter yet with absolute control, compactness, conservation of energy and clinical precision. Humility in victory, no histrionic celebration (even when becoming WC at just 20 years of age) and often immediately compassionate and concerned with the welfare of his opponent. Then, in interview immediately afterwards, he's measured, controlled, articulate, intelligent, gracious, kind, respectful and magnanimous. Arguably the greatest boxer of all time, certainly, but a remarkable man all round.

(take a nap) hands of stone along with lightning fast speed. His footwork was different then any I've ever seen. Was able to shuffle 2 3 4 steps at a time toward opponent and the lead foot would be on the same side as the punch he threw Everytime

If Tyson could've been as humble outside the ring as much as he seemed to be inside the ring during his post-fight interviews, my guess is his original trainers and management team would've stayed with him, ensuring he remained focused. He probably would've avoided Robin Givens and never would've lost.
Tyson was a very young man when he won his first championship. He had HUGE pressure placed upon him and it all got to him and from the outside perspective, his guys left because he wasn't listening anymore.
Mike is a very very intelligent man, but I believe he lost focus while young and needed to re-humble himself.
I hope he is a happy man, now.

I absolutely agree. When he was in his prime (And I mean both mentally and physically) nobody, and I mean nobody, who has ever fought in the ring (even in their prime) could have stood against him. His punches shocked the world, literally. Nobody had ever seen anyone hit that fast or that hard. If you go back and watch the difference between his punches and all those that came before him and even those since nobody throws bones like Tyson. Most of the people that fought him admitted it. That's why the average time of a Tyson fight was 3 rounds. Most got knocked out in 2 and almost everyone he fought was scared of him.

@@Sabamonster FYI - No one left him, he fired his manager. By then those vultures, Robin Givens and her mother, had sunk their talons into Tyson and wanted Bill Clayton gone because they wanted control.
Jimmy Jacobs, who was 50% of Tyson’s management team and mentor after Cus passed, died not too long after Cus.
Clayton, the other half of his management team, didn’t have the relationship with Tyson that Jacobs had. And it wasn’t too hard for Givens, along with Don King, to convince Tyson that Clayton was robbing him and eventually he fired Clayton.
Kevin Rooney, his head trainer, was also eventually fired. King, Givens and her mother believed Rooney’s purse percentage was too high and was being overpaid. That couldn’t be true because even if Rooney only made half of what a head trainer customarily makes, he would’ve made millions. Rooney won a $4M lawsuit against in 88’. And it only took 18 months for Tyson to suffer his 1st defeat after firing Rooney.

People say Tyson fought tomato cans. Anyone who has ever stepped into a ring knows there is no such thing. Any man is capable of inflicting damage in a boxing ring. Mike Tyson was a one in ten lifetime talent. There has never been since and will never be anyone that will bring the same excitement to the sport ever again. LEGEND
