Hide San why would he be traumatized? Nothing detrimental has happened to the kid or at least we know off. Just cause he is scared now doesn’t mean he’s going to be scared forever. He’s just to young to understand what is happening. When he understands he won’t be afraid anymore.
They are not married yet. They still engaged. Because in the last minutes of this video said that they celebrate their engagement. And it relate with their joke about "will you marry me? - no" Wish they will marriage and their love grow up more and more.
This guy is so much stronger than I am. I can barely keep my head straight as is. And I'm a relatively healthy guy with all my limbs. I can't even imagine going through this and finding the strength to trudge on and stay positive. I have a colossal amount of respect for him. And for his wife, for that matter. What truly awesome people.

They lived together, she must really love that guy, I think they are perfect for each other. They have a strong relationship and know when to make a daft joke and it’s not taken wrong. I met this guy. While I was a student nurse, he came to give a talk on sepsis. Afterwards he came around and spoke to us all individually. Absolutely amazing guy. Had us all in tears x
Strep Grp A happens a lot more often than we know. I was part of a team who took care of a 1yr old in the Foster Care system who got Strep A. She lost all of her toes, most of her fingers but she kept on being a toddler. I WISH I knew how her life went on...she would be about 48 yrs old now. I hope she went on to be awesome and to help others. I would love to see an update video of this guy and his family. I'm sure he has made lemonade out of what happened to him.

I was crying when his son wouldnt kiss him and when he showed a picture of him and Alex said "thats the old daddy". This video gave me so much inspiration that I am very lucky I have everything I need bc there is ppl out suffering and have nothing. (This guy is very strong!!)
For anyone reading, that isn’t sure, if someone describes having the worst headache they have ever had, you NEVER leave it. If they still have it at the end of 1 day (12 hrs not 24). Get to a hospital ASAP! If they have a rash that won’t go away when you press a glass on it. Don’t even wait a full day. It doesn’t matter if you are wrong and it turns out to be just a migraine, no harm done. Just don’t wait.
I'd like to ask one question to that man. "are you happy, or are you fighting for her" if the later, I can make her understand. I'd just like to point what I mean is... is he truly happy EXISTING, and being taken care of like a child. or is he truly happy. I watch a man being nursed in the hospital I was in for brain cancer surgery... looking at his eye's while the nurse's changes his diapers was unforgetable. All I seen in his eye's were "please, let me die"
How long can he stay strong? I bet not so long...We humans should stop putting so much of our money and attention into such mindless entertainment such as people punching each other inside a cage so we could reduce the suffering of people like this in the video...... Instead we should put all our money and attention into supporting the transhumanist movement so we could benefit the people like the person in this video or benefit the whole human race itself.......If you don't know about Transhumanism, I highly recommend that you research about it because it will change the course of humanity....... @@ehmehsmeh824 when you grow up you'll realize those things don't matter, your friend isn't your friend if they went with your ex behind your back. There's plenty of people out there so don't waste your time on the ones who toy with you. You might miss "the good ol days" but trust me, those people won't even be in your life when you grow up. As an adult myself, none of my high school pals talk anymore. And I don't know any adult friends who hang out with their "school buddies" think about it, do you know any adults that still see their school friends? Not really. Maybe rarely, because most of the time people just settle for what they can get for a friend. Don't settle. Do with my advice what you will, I just know that I've had the same scenario, getting cheated on and all.. don't get hung up on it, not enough to wish a devil disease on them anyway. Like I said, when you grow up, you'll realize the impact of that statement. As for your friends, their young, sometimes hormones take over and you definitely can't be mad at one and not the other. I wish someone told me not to waste so much effort worrying about other people that have hurt me, and just move on, and get better friends and partners that *actually* make me happy. I just know I wish someone told me this as a teen. I'm now 32, and don't talk to any exes or friends. You grow up, do other things where you make new friends. Especially when you have kids, your world changes, so don't worry, they'll both be history in the scrapbook of your life in years time, mark my words. Good luck young one. Much love. Since getting married, my husband has been through so much with my health. I’ve had to have my thyroid removed, had trouble stabilizing it with meds, had the thyroid regenerate, had to go through months of infusions for anemia, and then finally breast cancer, the treatments took away everything that made me beautiful, my hair, my long eyelashes, my eyebrows. It made me so so sick. Even though I am in remission, I am still on oral chemo that makes me incredibly sick, and which suppresses my immune system. Through it all, my husband cared for me, loved me, cuddled me, and made me feel as beautiful as ever. It isn’t just the women who stick it through. There are wonderful men out there who are simply amazing. I am so very thankful for my husband.
My favorite uncle John had both arms amputated after an accident working for the electric company. He was an amazing man and so funny. We grew up seeing this man achieve everything with two hooks instead of hands. He also later lost an eye. Dude was a powerhouse. He used to ask us to help him put on his hooks and we loved it. One day, while my sister was helping out the tube socks on his arms he kept yelling PULL HIGHER PULL TIGHTER and she accidentally punched him in the face. We laughed so hard. He thought it was so hilarious. He coached a football team for amputees. He taught us how to throw a baseball and catch one too…all with his hooks. He was a remarkable man. We miss him every day. He lived his life to the fullest. ❤️
What a beautiful tribute you left here for your uncle. It's these memories you share of him that keep his spirit close to you. And when you meet again someday, you'll find that he's been as proud of you as you were of him. Thank you for sharing. He sounds like a wonderful man.

It always seems so selfish to me when people take someone else's tragedy and turn it around to make it about them. I never understand how I am supposed to count my blessings by comparing my life to his.
His son avoids him, his wife is suffering for him. Yet he still fights, believing that he will someday, make everything go back to normal. What an absolute chad. People with strong wills are better to look up to than celebrities you barely know.
His eyes must have cried all the tears possible for a human being, his heart and brain must have gone through extreme agonies and I wish from the bottom of my heart that he succeeded to overcome all these.

I very nearly died from meningitis. Went from a burning fever and headache to waking up in ER and having my clothes cut off in resuscitation. I spent 2 weeks in ICU and made a full revovery... Felt like my head was being crushed in a vice.... All from a tongue piercing. Frightening how quickly I went from simply feeling unwell and sending myself home from work to waking up in resuscitation.
It would be incredibly difficult not to just give up. This man and his family don’t deserve pity, they deserve admiration. It really hit hard seeing his son hesitate to kiss him, as the father of a two year old. They’re incredibly brave and inspiring.

I used to feel bad about not having love in my life. When I see stories like this, I'm happy that some of the people who really need it, have it. Alex's wife is a godsend for sticking with him through all that. He needs that love way more than I do.

That's what I was thinking, the most horrid part of this whole ordeal would be waking up for the first time as a quadruple amputee. I couldn't imagine.
The fact that he acknowledges that he lost more of himself when he was himself 100% and found himself when he clearly wasn't himself 100%, is really powerful and takes an enormous strength to accept and embrace it.

There's plenty of people out there so don't waste your time on the ones who toy with you. You might miss "the good ol days" but trust me, those people won't even be in your life when you grow up. As an adult myself, none of my high school pals talk anymore. And I don't know any adult friends who hang out with their "school buddies" think about it, do you know any adults that still see their school friends? Not really. Maybe rarely, because most of the time people just settle for what they can get for a friend. Don't settle. Do with my advice what you will, I just know that I've had the same scenario, getting cheated on and all.. don't get hung up on it, not enough to wish a devil disease on them anyway. Like I said, when you grow up, you'll realize the impact of that statement. As for your friends, their young, sometimes hormones take over and you definitely can't be mad at one and not the other. I wish someone told me not to waste so much effort worrying about other people that have hurt me, and just move on, and get better friends and partners that *actually* make me happy.
I just know I wish someone told me this as a teen. I'm now 32, and don't talk to any exes or friends. You grow up, do other things where you make new friends. Since getting married, my husband has been through so much with my health. I’ve had to have my thyroid removed, had trouble stabilizing it with meds, had the thyroid regenerate, had to go through months of infusions for anemia, and then finally breast cancer, the treatments took away everything that made me beautiful, my hair, my long eyelashes, my eyebrows. It made me so so sick. Even though I am in remission, I am still on oral chemo that makes me incredibly sick, and which suppresses my immune system. Through it all, my husband cared for me, loved me, cuddled me, and made me feel as beautiful as ever. It isn’t just the women who stick it through. There are wonderful men out there who are simply amazing. I am so very thankful for my husband.

My favorite uncle John had both arms amputated after an accident working for the electric company. He was an amazing man and so funny. We grew up seeing this man achieve everything with two hooks instead of hands. He also later lost an eye. Dude was a powerhouse.
He used to ask us to help him put on his hooks and we loved it. One day, while my sister was helping out the tube socks on his arms he kept yelling PULL HIGHER PULL TIGHTER and she accidentally punched him in the face. We laughed so hard. He thought it was so hilarious. He coached a football team for amputees. He taught us how to throw a baseball and catch one too…all with his hooks. He was a remarkable man. We miss him every day. He lived his life to the fullest. ❤️

I cried so much. This man is so so strong.
I very nearly died from meningitis. Went from a burning fever and headache to waking up in ER and having my clothes cut off in resuscitation. I spent 2 weeks in ICU and made a full revovery... Felt like my head was being crushed in a vice.... All from a tongue piercing.
Frightening how quickly I went from simply feeling unwell and sending myself home from work to waking up in resuscitation.
It would be incredibly difficult not to just give up. This man and his family don’t deserve pity, they deserve admiration. It really hit hard seeing his son hesitate to kiss him, as the father of a two year old. They’re incredibly brave and inspiring.
