I didn't realize I could water succulents that often (2 to 3 times per week). For fear of overwatering I was giving them water once every 7 to 10 days. It's no wonder some of them are drying up and shriveling away. So I learned something new today. Thanks for the video.😂
I used to do the same when i first started growing them. Always worried i'd overwater. Surprisingly, they really appreciate when they get water regularly during hot summers. There's a lot of videos coming on that once the heatwaves really kick in over here 😅 Our last hot summer i watered my little babies in small pots twice a day! 😅
Agree... my Graptoveria lovely rose died from dry rot from underwatering... I've killed about 5 of them... I just bought another 3 to try again, and will water often.
All my lovely rose grow very tall with a long stalk. How shd i prevent this? Also the lead babies dnt get the proper shape and leaves are more spread out and look more like a flat titubans than the typical pretty rose shape. Any suggestions to grow them in a clump without a long leggy stalk would be much appreciated. Thank you for a great vdo
Yeah, the tall growth is annoying- i usually behead and it makes them grow more bushy. Once there's a few rosettes they kind of support each other. I guess it's a Titubans trait. I've also repotted some and stuck them a bit deeper into the pot, which worked ok. Some mutations can revert back to the original, i don't know how to stop that from happening. You can try beheading- it sometimes works. Good amount of sunlight may help maintain the rose shape. If they are in too much shade the leaves naturally grow flatter to try harness as much light as possible. Hope some of this will help 🙂💚
I’m crazy about this beautiful green rose, but I had no luck with it, I had bought tree times 🥲in the internet, after few weeks they died.😢 i live in a very crazy weather.
I use to live in the Southern California, there’s a perfect weather for all sorts plants, trees and flowers, first year all of my orchids died and then, I decided to collect succulents, cause I saw people in the internet just washing off the snow 😂so I just don’t know what to do. I love gardening, i just can’t wait for spring to start growing plants.

Yess, in my experience they will tolerate the drought but are soo much happier when watered well 💦💦
