I've got a Ti 84 Plus C Silver Edition and this isn't working ... I've tried using both Alpha:sto> and the X key... Do you or anyone have any suggestions?
Can you explain more where you find these buttons I'm still stuck on finding the = on two of your videos and I can't get past it because enter isn't it and I do not see it where I can hit alfa and press it or anything like that
Samuel Murray = is found by using 2nd and then 'math'. Alpha and a key which has a green label above it will put down that label. Example: Alpha and 'period' is a colon.
Thomas Cho No, ti-84 plus will work the same. What it means is that (likely) you have a letter or statement which is not supposed to be used as a variable as one. For instance, e instead of E. Does that help?
I am getting a syntax error on my ti 84 plus CE when trying to exec the program- the law of cosines program works fine and the code for the lawofsines matches on my calculator. Does this program not work on the plus CE?
Jeein Shim no, this program works. Syntax error means that there is something wrong with one or more lines in the way it is formatted. Likely, it is a missing quotation mark or parentheses. I would look at that first.
77gamingnoob77 you might have the final return variable wrong, or setting the answer to the wrong variable in the middle of the code. look for anything after and arrow key and see if that helps.
Thank you for this. You saved my life.
I'll be using this during an exam tomorrow. Thanks Aylin Talbot!
whenever I solve for an angle it says error domain.
Good video, but how and where is the equal sign. You missed a step.
2nd key and then the math key

Mine did the same thing!
Thank you!
does this mean that I can't stow anything to A,B,X,Y, or theta?
Theo Zarobell whenever you use the program they will be overwritten. you can use those variables for other things too.
thanks
keeps saying error syntax
It just says "Done" without showing any kind of answer
After the line
Lbs (theta)
Make another line
(Theta)
Make another line
And then it will work!
I also had that and then went back and noticed
