Tip: if you don't want any type of vines or glowberrys to grow, I'm pretty sure if you click the bottom with shears it stops growing

but vine shearing still isnt a thing as of Oct 2024, so you'll have to place string below it instead to prevent further growth

I made a sugar cane farm like that and the cane does not go from the cart to the collection chest. I guess it has to fill up in the 5 slots of the mine cart first? I hate that I have to empty it ever so often. Makes it feel not so automated.
