Dodge is easily the most important core mechanic in Brawlhalla: it can be used to avoid incoming attacks, and set up counters. Matches are largely decided by who uses their dodge better (along with other core mechanics and fundamentals such as movement). A large part of approaching is learning how to bait your opponent into approaching you. Try being more patient and taking more time before you actually attack
@@vynperm yea I do that, but when I try to attack or punish them they dodge out of the way, so I was trying to learn movement so I could catch them but that doesn't seen like it's working
