falling with your nose into the butter (it's a Dutch saying for getting really lucky). Visiting the TT is awesome. The TT has been around for ages, pinacle for motorcycling in the Netherlands. Nice to see you've been enjoying it so much!
As I said a while ago on FB. I used to race cars, and have been a motor racing fan since as long as I can remember. Cars, bikes or sidecars, there is nothing like the atmosphere in the paddock, pits and by the track. I know exactly what kind of a day you had and it was amazing of the owner of the site to give you those tickets, what a star. Loving the series, happy travels.
Hey You Two!!!!You really deserved this Big fun. So happy for you !! I grew up at the track racing sports cars with my dad. Then raced myself as an adult and won a national championship here in the USA. Awesome!
I am a confirmed "couldn't give a toss" about racing.....until watching this episode! What a great day, and it has definitely left me wanting more, and maybe even visit a British track. The sidecar racing looked insane. Maybe a meet-up at an English racetrack would be a suggestion for you guys and other subscribers.... 10/10 episode.
Bib il be honest, before we went i was like, whats the point in watching bikes whizz by lap after lap.... Then we went... WOW it was cool! the whole day and atmosphere was Ace!
Oh haha one of my sisters was racing in one of the sidecars there (though not the one with the long braid/ponytails). Kinda funny because I was there as well to support her that weekend so I could have been walking around there the same time as you😂
So glad you both enjoyed Assen, Back in the late 60's, thru the seventies into the early eighties I used to design, manufacture, sell and race Grasstrack sidecar outfits, and the first outfit that I sold to a customer in the Netherlands was bought by two brothers who's family farm was actually within the Assen Circuit area. When I delivered it they took me round the circuit on a tractor !!! - happy days. I have many happy memories of that country and the people who are such lovely, warm and friendly human beings.
If you ever want some mortorcycle fun in the Netherlands search for when the TT is. The TT are a couple of days of racing and thousands of motorcycle fans come to the TT circuit and Assen from all over Europe.
Hi guys, Loving your videos especially your VIP Assen, I am a racing fan and a regular TT Isle of Man visitor you have got to do it, it's unique and the best racing in the world keep travelling and stay safe
A big thank you to the guy who gave you the tickets, now all of us can watch it 🎉 ❤ Can’t wait for the next video when Rich will be trying the elk meat 😊 😂
I have been to the TT Circuit ASSEN this year. For Truck Star Festival Assen. A weekend whit more than 1200 Truck. And my wife thit the Circuit in a wheelchair with electric handbike. Trucks move the teams for track to track. Greetings from Bunschoten-Spakenburg the Netherlands, the Netherlands.

Wow! A big bonus, but very, very well deserved !! I rode an FJ1200.... It never let me down in 90,000 miles. I stupid sold it to upgrade, I still wish to this day, I had never sold it
Went to many British Superbike events years ago when the Ducatis were winning everything. Loved that it was such a family day out , never been to Assen … great video , thanks .
Very nice video. I enjoy watching along :) As a side note. You actually missed the big bike parking on the other side of the circuit. It holds about 14.000 motorcycles and it's covered by solar panels so they're parked nice and dry/ in the shade.
What a great day. And all just by happenstance! We could feel your excitement through the camera. It was contagious and a lot of fun to tag along. Cheers. 🤜
Just started watching your channel, great to see 2 genuine people enjoying their motorbike travels. I enjoy your content and style of video, very easy and enjoyable to watch. Keep up the the good work
Even though I'm not a biker (yet?) I love watching your video's, very relaxing atmosphere. Makes me want to go and get my motorcycle drivers license already :) Regarding the Elk Meat: there's no reason to be afraid, I can definitely recommend you try it. Finnish game meats (elk, deer, wild boar) are actually some of the best quality meats you will ever find, they are all very tasty, lean/low-fat and natural. You can try it as-is or ideally warm it up in a simple stew or goulash ;)

Loving the videos, we race with the BMCRC (Bemsee) in the UK at loads of circuits, Brand Hatch, Cadwell Park, Donington Park, and Snetterton to name a few. It’s our last meeting next week at Brands but if you want an all access experience next year let me know.
Lucky to get those tickets. Can't beat the sounds, sights, and smells of a race circuit. Best bike circuit for me is Cadwell. You get up close to the action and it's such a tight close circuit.
You were really lucky! You asked the right question to the right person and were rewarded with tickets to the TT in Assen. You looked like happy, smiling children on the playground at the TT :-) Maybe we Dutch are not so annoying after all. You were not the only ones having a good time. I also enjoyed this episode again! Another good one. You jammy pair. The moto gp bikes (the top level racing) are clocking over 200 mph these days. You have to go to the Isle of ManTT. It'll blow your minds. Those guys are nuts! Can't believe you eat burgers but won't try the Moose Meat.

Assent brings sad memories for me.. My mate Andy and I was going to go.. Unfortunately he passed away and I have not been due to this.. I have been to the Belgian GP.. Not as fortunate as you guys, but we travelled on our bikes, to see the track and museum. Got there to find it was officially closed to the public, and there was no museum. The security guys felt very sorry for us and allowed us in... We was able to see behind the seens.. Pit lane etc.. It was fantastic.. You are so right.. There are some lovely people out there..
Great you liked the racing you should make a point of going to donnington next year to watch WSB. TT is great just as equally as good is the North West 200 in Northern Ireland held in early May you could then go to Isle of Man early June.
yeb old cheese hardly melts but tastes so much better than cheddar or young cheese, Normally you can watch the race schedule on TV everywhere in the restaurants on the TT circuit and usually during the race it also shows who is driving where and how fast
I'm not into racing, but I did ride a fast bike. Had a Kawasaki ZZR1400 (ZX-14 in the US) from 2009 till 2019 when I crashed it. Try one sometime. They're low seated and a fantastic ride. I can't ride anymore due to physical problems not related to my bike crash. Still like to watch bikes, but not being able to ride myself, it hurts too.
Wow you are so lucky I envy you enjoy every minute of it look forward to seeing the next video my best wishes to you from the Philippines ❤️👍😉😀😁🏁🏍️🛺🐑🇵🇭🏴⭐
Motolegends in Guildford do the Shoei fitting and I also believe some Helmet City shops. My wife and I use the Knox system for touring. The advantage over other ventilated jackets is the windproof/showerproof layer goes on the outside, so that the vented jacket stays dry. On other system, they go under the jacket (as a liner etc) and therefore if you go through a shower, it gets wet. Also, you can wear the puffa jacket or shell as a normal jacket, when off the bike and they look good.

@@ontheroadadventure lots of great camping at the NW200 in Northern Ireland and the IOM TT. A couple of months advance bookings would be ok. Go on your subscribers recommendations. I could absolutely recommend Ballyness camping at Bushmills 5* next to the whiskey distillery. A stunning short ride to the NW200 circuit.
The Manx TT is awesome however prices on the island are extortionate, give the Northwest 200 a consideration in Northern Island.Usually held a week or two before the TT.If you think short circuit is dangerous you need to give the road racing a shot.
In Uk 🇬🇧 a day out at the BSB British superbike races throughout the year at all the Uk race circuits is good check it out! Also just seen a ad from flexitail they now do an anti mosquito unit with a built in light that looks good!
So funny you visited my country and talked about earplugs while if you look back your video you standing in front of a sign that says 'gehoorbescherming 1 euro' (earplugs 1 euro). ;-)
I just joined awaiting acceptance. It's a genuine offer, won't cost you owt. I'll check fb group and I can send address etc. Wife would love to meet you both.
I am looking at all these biker videos and I don't even have a bike. I would love to start taking lessons and buy a Suzuki Bandit 650. I took a crash course in Southampton years ago but failed my theory. Now here in NL, I would love to try it again and start riding. Will be asking you guys on here questions about buying a bike once I am done with all tests and ready.
Nothing would make us happier than to hear we have inspired you to get on your bike and go adventure. A bandit is a fantastic choice too. You can do mock theory tests online, just do it over and over until you regularly pass, and then book your real test. You can do it

Hmmmm I feel like this is a trap.... lol
@@ontheroadadventure Just for further encouragement:- my other half has had elk burgers in Yellowstone Park and he says it was the best burger he has ever had. Very lean and juicy. 😊😊😊😊
Ewa tell's me everything is Alright too lol

really good episode.....and.......warm the tincan up and get a bite !!!
Thanks bud.... See you in the next one!
It says "gourmet" on the tin, so it should be good.
Hmmm still not convinced!
You absolutely must go to the Isle of man TT AND two weeks before it a trip around Northern Ireland to watch the NW200 both world class 😊
What a tour that would be! I believe you need to get stuff booked for the IOM TT a year or two in advance? or is that myth?
@@ontheroadadventure lots of great camping at the NW200 in Northern Ireland and the IOM TT. A couple of months advance bookings would be ok. Go on your subscribers recommendations. I could absolutely recommend Ballyness camping at Bushmills 5* next to the whiskey distillery. A stunning short ride to the NW200 circuit.
The Manx TT is awesome however prices on the island are extortionate, give the Northwest 200 a consideration in Northern Island.Usually held a week or two before the TT.If you think short circuit is dangerous you need to give the road racing a shot.
Thats a good shout! We maywell look into doing this...
In Uk 🇬🇧 a day out at the BSB British superbike races throughout the year at all the Uk race circuits is good check it out! Also just seen a ad from flexitail they now do an anti mosquito unit with a built in light that looks good!
We maywell get to try out the New Mozzie stuff soon so watch this space...
So funny you visited my country and talked about earplugs while if you look back your video you standing in front of a sign that says 'gehoorbescherming 1 euro' (earplugs 1 euro). ;-)
haha Brilliant....
What a great day for you both. Class video 👍👍 get that moose eaten Rich, it’s just a posh cow 🤷♂️🤪
LOL Posh cow!
No question, you HAVE to go to the IoM TT!
We hope to get there soon!

I havent had a good test on one but yes ive ridden one around the block, very good bikes indeed and sound great
Go on Rich open that tin and try it,you might like it. Love you bye😂
what are the odds of that?!
@ontheroadadventure not very good
Bit less than that i think lol
Come on rich try the moose 😂
I need more convincing than that!!
You can do it
@@ontheroadadventure Thanks. Will do. Success with all what you both are doing.
Thanks bud
You 2 are so likeable! 😄
You are so kind ❤️
Hi Rippa day out . 😊

@@ontheroadadventureIf you enjoy fillet (beef) steak you’ll enjoy Elk I’m pretty sure. If you get the chance try reindeer too, it’s lovely, like beef but maybe a bit more flavour…….If none appeal to you, Aldi probably have vegan versions!!
That’s sounds deer
Nice surprise
Yes, Great campsite and such kind owners to share what they have
Give the elk a try.
Rich is feeling the Peer Pressure
Being in the Netherlands and eating cheddar cheese is a sin ;)
