I have to say I'm still very impressed with my 2014 V70, the interior feels solid, the only bit that feels oddly cheap is the roof mounted interior light buttons. But the rest is brilliant, the DAB radio is great, I barely touch the actual radio buttons & use the steering wheel controls instead. I've now done a trip to Cornwall & a run to Luton Airport, easily the most comfortable car I've driven.
I miss my 2004 S60 D5 the best car for 200+ Miles driving and stepping out still feeling okay. The smooth ride, the best seats, the smooth 5 cylinder engine, effortless torque for wafting around and a great sound system.
I've got a Volvo V40 R Design 2018 model but it's interior hasn't changed much since launch in 2012 and it is still a nice place to be. All the areas you touch are of soft touch materials and IMO nicer than my sons Audi Q3.
I own a 2007 Volvo S80 and I really like the timeless design and the interior quality. I have tried several new cars, but the interior doesn't feel as high quality as in the Volvo.
The only thing I dislike about mine is the handbrake works the wrong way should always be pull to put a handbrake on. Oh and there's no engine temperature gauge.

I like the little subtle green LED in the ceiling. Gives a nice green atmosphere in the dark.

Plus surprising acceleration eg kickdown from about 30mph.

Hi Loz, never had an issue, parts are reasonable and if you fit them yourself very cheap to fix things!

Hi can I ask how you keep your sat nav down?? Mine does my tree in lol going up and down every time I start the car. Love my S80 D5 it’s a beast 🙌🏻❤️
There's an option in the sat nav menu to switch it off so then your screen will hide.
