I came to classical music late in life and my first love was Chopin and this in particular. I recall an apt description of the Grande Polonaise by, I think, a Simon Bates in the UK as a champagne fountain with the drops cascading down to the bottom and I still get that image each time I hear it - and this, for me, is fully charged like a champagne bottle under pressure. Love it!
8:37 + always gets me- chills down my back and lump in the throat. Don't know what got into Chopin for writing such beautiful and emotional music. Congrats to these young talents for keeping alive on earth rare glimpses of heaven.
