- ITS HERE! This map had a whopping FORTY-ONE parts and nearly all of them were done in under 72 hours.... its really amazing what people can do when they're passionate and excited! This map was like a flashmob, it was awesome!!!

Starclan just hates their bloodline. First is Goosefeather who is probably still having nightmares about not being able to change the future, Bluestar who went crazy from betrayals and now Mistystar who is immortal for some reason.

Sadly very true he wasn't very well liked because of how he acted either walking around talking to the spirits (to other cats the air) instead of the living and be normally grumpy (along with other things like paranoid ) when he did most likely because of all the things he had to just watch happen not having any power over the events that even if he tried to change that was just what caused it to happen his powers were similar to rocks only its most likely that rock can have an influence over the events that he sees like when Jayfeather tried to save the other medicine from drowning rock appears and tell him to more or less give up but poor Goosefeather you could have just given him the power to see and interact with the spirits that could be very helpful when looking for a lost kit or trying to find a fox that's in the territory faster but no instead you just had to give him the power to see the future with no power to influence it so he can see all the he cared about die along with all the other awful events that will happen to maybe their future kits he probably got tramatized very early in his life from all of that like Tigerstar's death and the darkforest battle I don't think we know if he could see what happened with Onestar but if he could he could see all the awful things that the kin did and watch Shadowclan fall apart the poor cat what the f was Starclan thinking
Zfgdfghhggcccfcggfvvjjj Cat when I read Bluestar's Super Edition, I thought he was a weird and creepy old dude out there to scare the Thunderclan cats, Bluestar, and the reader.
When I read his novella, it told his story, his CURSE. It truly was a curse, because he could never really LIVE in the living world, not when he could see, talk, and basically interact with the DEAD. So he was mostly half-dead since the curse came to light. It made you feel sorry, and now I know that the medicine cat business isn't meant for everyone. They need a strong minded cat, because Goose hadn't wanted to do it from the beginning, and he was forced into the role. He was a strong minded, opinionated cat, but he was reduced to a SHELL of what he had been, a paranoid, mentally not right cat.
Gosh, imagine what it would be like if Jayfeather ends up like Goosefeather.
Emma Wiley if Jayfeather ended up like Goosefeather then he would be dangerous given his attitude as of right now

The example that makes me angriest is Cloudstar. Starclan promised him that Skyclan would be fine and the twoleg threat would leave but then let them die and encouraged the other clans to drive them out

Props to the animators who did full-on run cycles for Goose towards the end. That’s some serious dedication, especially considering the 72 hour deadline. Everyone did pretty good with the details on the characters and the backgrounds.
Everyone who did a full run cycle was INCREDIBLE!! So many of the parts are really incredible!!!

I haven’t read Goosefeather’s Curse but I’ve read Bluestar’s Prophecy and I feel bad for Goosefeather alreadyy

Yes! Yes! Yes! I’m am so stoked. This was one of the first completed MAPS I’ve been in, and I’m so proud of it. Everyone did incredible, all the parts went together perfectly, and I can’t even fathom the fact that some of these parts got done in less then 72 hours. Thanks so much for having me be apart of this!

Do you ever think goosefeather mistook some live cats for dead cats at times? Considering how much he’s seen them.
He often did. The books say that he first didn't realized he was surrounded by dead and living cats what would mean he can't tell the difference. :)

At first, People told me Goosefeather was so bad but when I seen this video and listen to the Goosefeather Audio, that’s just sad and upsetting for him. Not all of his mistakes were, his fault. Starclan cursed him where he went down his mental self.

I have a theory starclan never gave him this gift. We still don't even know where star clan gets their prophecies. Prophecies are glimpses of the future, wherever they get their prophecies must have leaked to goosefeather somehow. He is a living prophecy

I still think that Goosefeather was simply the first cat with this kind of ability and starclan....well, they went kinda nuts over it having a direct connection to the mortals. Poor guy.

They're easier to do and get done more likely then a fully animated one. It's a really smart move on the map host's part to make the MAP PMV so it doesn't stress out animators as much. Plus they can have shorter deadlines set since it's not as much work
Yeah but you have to consider a lot of them also have a deadline, like some are 24 hours or 72 hours like this one...and it’s extremely time consuming and barely possible to fully animate within that time limit. And I mean, it’s still good, even as PMVs and stuff.
I’m not says my pmv are bad. They are very useful for people who have such little time or needs to get it done Incase they have too much going on in their life. It’s also very useful for people who are new to this kind of stuff and it can help them with their art. I’m just a little different, I love animation, even the very smooths one, it’s so satisfying.
Whoa this map is incredible. Absolutely incredible. Everyone did a brilliant job on their parts, I love all the art styles and the whole idea of the map itself is awesome, especially the part at the end where Goosefeather runs through scenes that happen much, much later in the timeline and also how Maplsshade looks at him. It was a nice touch, especially since I think she actually talks to him as a kit or something in his novella so it's a nice nod to that. I also particularly like the part from around 2:40 to 3:40 as it really shows Goose's frustration. You did an excellent job on the whole script and designs too Draikintor, this is just brilliant overall! Well done everyone!!

StarClan was cruel to Goosefeather. Forced him to have a scary power that changed his life and made him an outcast. He saw all these terrible things that would happen, some a long time in the future, and he didn’t have any control over them. He died crazy. His power had no use, and it just ruined his life.

MY ALL TIME FAVORITE CHARACTER IS GOOSEFEATHER he was cursed from starclan bullied constantly manipulated hated gaslit called crazy blamed for everything forced to see a dark future and not being able to change it I think it shows just how amazing he was his sister was hating him and was mating with someone he thought would kill him but he still loved her. He always did what he thought was wanted of him by starclan yet was called crazy and hated by his clanmates. blamed for his sisters death. Yet he kept going he tried so hard to please everyone and do his best for his clan, yet he never got his deserved happiness. yes he was bitter sometimes but he has perfectly good reason to be.

I think goosefeather is the reason starclan can give out prophecies. He can see the future, and they never had prophecies before only smart facts from experienced warriors. What if they didn't give him those powers and he was just unlucky. After all, star clan didnt give jayfeather, lionblaze, or dovewing their powers. If they did don't you think someone would know who the third special cat was?
Watched this 5 years ago as a big time warriors fan, watching this now as a big time kimya Dawson fan (and still kinda a warriors fan)

I never really realized how tortuous Goosefeathers life really was this map really made me go mad this was actually a little frightful what an amazing map. You got me subscribing to a bunch of new people too! You must be a very proud host for making a 72 hour map seem like it's been in the making for years. These artists are so dedicated and really put their best into this map.
