the unrealistic looks make this such a unique map. though for a sec in some parts it was hard to tell who was who, but it is a very amazing map, because of how you styled them, great work everyone!

I could tell who Leafpool, Lionblaze, and Jayfeather were, but it took a while for me to realize who Squirrelflight and Ashfur were. I couldn’t tell who Crowfeather was at first either. My dad doesn’t read Warriors, and he actually at first hadn’t heard of the band My Chemical Romance, which is the band that made this song.)

I’VE ALWAYS REALLY LOOOOOVED THE AESTHETIC FOR THIS MAP YO, I used to have some “edgy” sparkledog-esque characters myself when I was younger and oh gosh it’s so nice to see those things in the MAP designs; all the parts for this came out so dynamic and emotional and oh gosh I could go on about how well the script flows; awesome MAP everyone!

This being a premiere means the artists get to watch the live chat as the video premiere, which is REALLY fun if you worked hard on this project. and more importantly, you wouldn't have gotten this video any earlier if it hadn't been a premiere. Yeah, when I did a premiere a lot of people complained to. What's worse, many of them refused to watch the video because of it. As the result, it did extremely poorly, even though it was on a topic viewers picked themselves in a poll.

so i read the description and i honestly totally agree with you! of course younger me did draw edgy ocs because i was influenced by such art but as i grew older, i thought it was “dumb” in a way and tried to stray away from doing so, but seeing the map call and the character designs, i thought it was really cool! i feel this would be, or was to those who took up map parts, really enjoyable to take a break from the usual and just touch into something you would probably, of course, never really look at or do! now i shall waltz off to mamafy my government assigned warrior after finding out people were doing that while waiting for this map to show off its full glory~!

This was incredible. The depiction if the characters was awesome (even though it took me a bit to figure out who was who). And whoever made the one scene with Jayfeather cornering Leafpool in the den and screaming, HOLY CRAP!

IT'S EDGY PERFECTION And seriously I remember being younger and hating the "not realistic designs" but honestly it's fun to put large fluffy hair on angry cats and have bright neon colors. It's all just really fun and honestly each character is still really recognizable! Every artist did really awesome though, and it's so exciting to see this come to life~

I just want to throw this out here, because there’s not really anywhere else to put it. I just really, really appreciate the positivity towards young people learning to draw art in our community. Honestly, I was so nervous starting out-not just with character design, but with art quality in general. I was actually terrified of people. And yes, the occasional jerks exist, but honestly, we flood out those people’s negativity with positivity. I’m so glad for the experience I’ve had learning art, and how I’m continuing to learn it. This community is overflowing with positivity and encouragement! Everyone, draw whatever the heck you want. Make a neon pink edgy battlecat bobble head meme. No matter what, there will be people who appreciate the work you put into it, and encourage you to keep drawing and to keep growing. And if people try to drag you down, then they are so, so wrong. I’VE ALWAYS REALLY LOOOOOVED THE AESTHETIC FOR THIS MAP YO, I used to have some “edgy” sparkledog-esque characters myself when I was younger and oh gosh it’s so nice to see those things in the MAP designs; all the parts for this came out so dynamic and emotional and oh gosh I could go on about how well the script flows; awesome MAP everyone!

Okay. From now on ANY COMMENTS about this being a premiere will be deleted. This being a premiere means the artists get to watch the live chat as the video premiere, which is REALLY fun if you worked hard on this project. and more importantly, you wouldn't have gotten this video any earlier if it hadn't been a premiere. Yeah, when I did a premiere a lot of people complained to. What's worse, many of them refused to watch the video because of it. As the result, it did extremely poorly, even though it was on a topic viewers picked themselves in a poll.

so i read the description and i honestly totally agree with you! of course younger me did draw edgy ocs because i was influenced by such art but as i grew older, i thought it was “dumb” in a way and tried to stray away from doing so, but seeing the map call and the character designs, i thought it was really cool! i feel this would be, or was to those who took up map parts, really enjoyable to take a break from the usual and just touch into something you would probably, of course, never really look at or do!
now i shall waltz off to mamafy my government assigned warrior after finding out people were doing that while waiting for this map to show off its full glory~!

It's all just really fun and honestly each character is still really recognizable! Every artist did really awesome though, and it's so exciting to see this come to life~

I just want to throw this out here, because there’s not really anywhere else to put it.
I just really, really appreciate the positivity towards young people learning to draw art in our community. Honestly, I was so nervous starting out-not just with character design, but with art quality in general. I was actually terrified of people. And yes, the occasional jerks exist, but honestly, we flood out those people’s negativity with positivity. I’m so glad for the experience I’ve had learning art, and how I’m continuing to learn it. This community is overflowing with positivity and encouragement! Everyone, draw whatever the heck you want. Make a neon pink edgy battlecat bobble head meme. No matter what, there will be people who appreciate the work you put into it, and encourage you to keep drawing and to keep growing. And if people try to drag you down, then they are so, so wrong. Share what you can do with the world.
Thank you guys, animation community, for being what you are. I’ve grown so much as an artist because of you guys and I’m proud to call myself a growing member.
