This video seems to be about "Neurodivergent Trans VS Neurotypical Trans people" At one point Kochava says, "Our experiences are all different and all equally valid." To that, I wholeheartedly agree. We cannot deny nor dismiss people's personal experiences.
I do have some questions though regarding what is being presented.
Why is being neurodivergent redefined as transgender?
I see no example of a neurodivergent cis-gendered person, why is that?
For these young folks in the video, they accept these things as "mental illness:" depression, anxiety, and psychosis yet reject autism, ADHD, gender diversity, etc as "normal." Why? Where does this come from (besides their personal experiences)? Where is the clinical support for these positions?
It appears that these young people reject Drs. trained in all manner of medical fields and place their own experiences as the definer of what is and is not a medical condition. While I can understand the importance of their personal experiences why do they so easily dismiss valid medical training that has been established for decades and backed by peer-reviewed studies?

Hi, I'm not sure if your intrested in the answers to thes questions anymore but I will still give them to you as I am procrastinating.
So this is a channel that Primarily talks about Trans people. This video is about Trans people that are also neurodivergent as the Title and the Introduction says. Thats why it dosent feature cis-neurodivergent people as this video simply isnt about them. Its untrue that they redefine transness as neurodivergency as multiple times in the video for example at 3:20 theese are clearly sperated from each other.
Depression and anxiety are mental illnesses while autism and ADHD are classified as a disability by the American Psychatric Association. This was communicated badly in the video so I understand the confusion. Being Transgender isnt classified as a mental illness since 2018 by the WHO but as an sexual health condition. So thats for clinical support. I understand your concern for medical backed opinions but wonder where you got your backing. And if you were paying attention when watching the video. Also I'd like to note that not all studies with peer review can be trusted as there are fake journals where it actully dosent happen.

Hi everyone!! Thanks for participating in my "page." Honestly, I posted this on this site only because I needed a storage platform to share this video with patients, coworkers, and peers. I apologize for not monitoring all the inhuman hate being spewed her. I am a nurse and I take care of ALL kinds of people.I have cared for ALL KINDS of humans.
I am a highly trained and experienced medical clinician. I am a scientist and researcher. Regarding this video, it is made by these students and their peers. They are speaking for themselves. One may not believe in labels. But I think these young people tell me that the labels are endless. "Let US tell YOU what I need." I'm here to care not dictate or change.

These are all great questions. This is "may page" so I'll tell you my "professional" opinion dealing with queer people since the '80's. I've been a researcher and these are some of the vast questions one can ask.
I'm speaking as a kind nurse but also, importantly, a scientist, too. Neurodivergent is not transgender and this video does not postulate that. These youth explain how, according to population-based research, a higher percentage of neurodivergent youth identify as queer, non-binary, trans. It's not for me as a clinician to determine how patients present. It's my role to CARE.
I postulate that many autistic people specifically don't really attend to all the interactive specifics of their neurotypical peers, culture, family. So I kinda think they just don't care about a lot of the constraints of "culture" and explore what they are actually feeling and experiencing instead of feeling and experiencing what others tell them to feel and experience. So! These neurodivergent and also gender expansive students are merely telling us their world I'm down for that. I don't try to change patients I just kind hate. I just care for them until they don't need my services.

This is such a great video!!! I'm so happy to watch some education about the students i work with who are trans/non-binary and neurodivergent. I'll be sharing this far and wide. I'm a member of the American College Health Association and this video covers so much of the information medical and mental health clinicians need to know. It is soooo important that this video is written, filmed and edited by trans/gender diverse young people.

@@Frankybeanselevators "Grooming" implies that I intentionally try to turn students into someone they are not to do my bidding. Providing professional nursing care is not grooming someone into my image of who they are. I am providing them standardized health care that allows them to be and feel who they are. Hateful people like you like to use buzzwords to try to convince people that your hateful nature is acceptable. I suppose people like you go after all kinds of people that don't match up with what I assume is your hateful, white, cisgendered reality. Instead of trying to understand the wide array of how people can be you belittle and demonize them and those who support them. Get a life hateful breeder.

@Mike Long Hi A**hole!!! I'm a nurse. I took a vow to take care of human beings. I don't decide who they are. I let them tell me so I can provide the best care to them. This video is written, directed, and produced by the teens who are gender variant. How dare YOU!!!! I'm here just trying to provide care to my patients and your pearl clutching panties are trying to tell me that you think I made these young people they way they are!!! M*&^F&cker get the F*&k off my page!!!! If I had the power to make people into something they are not I would have made you into a pile of rubble you inhuman, inconsiderate human. May all the hate you spew come back to you seven fold. I preach love. I encourage love. Go grow some strength to actually care for human beings instead of tearing them down. Go live in another country if you don't want to believe that ALL OF US are created equal. Our expensive world is difficult enough for all of us working class people. Go tear down some billionaires you jerk instead of these beautiful, thoughtful, emerging young people and ME!!! I have taken care of communist Catholic cardinals, imprisoned criminals, corrupt politicians and wide varieties of peoples in my nursing practice. I took an oath to care for human beings. The only people I refuse care for are overtly hostile people toward me. Don't come to my door @mike long. Maybe you should ask yourself if you actually care for human beings or just yourself. Ewwww. Icky. Your kind are icky.
