Had a 64 Impala 4 dr hardtop in college. Dark blue, 327 AT, fact. A/C and power windows, I traded it for a 64 GTO post coupe. It's video's like this that make me glad I live where it doesn't snow.
HI RYAN AND MIKE ,, WOW MY SON MAX 7YR.S OLD AND I LIKED THIS VIDEO ALOT!!! YES 1964 CHEVY IMPALAS ARE OUR FAVORATE CARS THERE VERY SQUARE LOOKING CARS ..THE BACK END 6 LIGHTS WE LIKE ALOT,,.. YOU HAVE TO LOCK THESE CARS UP GOOD BECAUSE THEY WILL GET STOLEN FAST ALL FIX UP .. WE LIKE SEEING THEM IN CAR SHOWS OR JUMPER SHOWS.. THE CHEVY WAGON LOOKED GREAT THE BODY WAS AOKAY!! THANKS GUYS ,,..OOOH MAX SAYS PART 2 ON THE 64 SOON,, ...
I love the 64!! I own a 64 same body style and owned for about 23 years now and am the 2nd owner of it. She's my baby. Love four door hardtops and wagons. Can't wait to see what you do with yours.
I like the seat pattern in a 63 Impala better but overall prefer the 64 Impala front to back. My sister bought a 64 Impala SS new, white with red interior with a 300 HP 327, bucket seats with a center council with power glide. A really beautiful car so I have liked them from day one.
I like the 1966 caprice. I had one in high school that was a two door with 396 and automatic, maroon with black top and tan interior. I paid $500 for it in 1973. Keep up the great work!
Fun Fact, Matchbox made a 64 Impala 4 door HT. It was done as a taxi with yellow paint. A very detailed and well proportioned authentic replica, as all of their offerings at the time were
Really like both years Ryan. This catch is a really nice one indeed. Blue tinted glass, even on the wagon! I agree about the styling, the hardtop 4-door Impalas are very dignified looking vehicles. While the movie is a sad tale, Mississippi burning has a 1964 Impala 4-door hardtop as a very prominent vehicle being driven a lot by the FBI agents. Such a good looking car! I hope this one has a good engine and transmission, thanks so much for saving her! Looking forward to the adventures coming up. I was looking forward to seeing Felix, and you did not disappoint. Felix is adorable, wearing his tuxedo so proudly, keeping an eye out for those no good mice! Keep safe!
I like both of them but prefer the 64 body style. I would like to have the same four door hardtop but with the 327 backed by a four speed standard. I have very little use for automatic transmissions. When I was a teenager back in the early 80's, a friend of my uncle had one like that. It was dark green with a white interior. It was a rolling work of art.
Should grab the 63 impala wagon, when I was in high schoool (62 - 65) I saw on on a Chevy used car lot with a V-8 and (yes) a 4 speed and bucket seats ( a SS ?) red over black interior! WOW!
Good point Ryan. The 1960 Impala is pretty nice, but it just can't compete with the 59 Cat's eyes Impalas. And I prefer the 63 Impala's pointed front and rear end, over the 64's flat front and rear end. Thanks for the video
Yay it's Ryan rescuing stuff again ! Nice complete stuff , and a 4 dr hardtop - altough doesn't have fins. As for 1960s - I like that rocket motive they added on the side of Impalas, much more Rocket Age than the plain line trim of '59 Impalas. But of course the fins got nerfed. In '63 they still had faint memory of former fin shape, in '64 they just gave up and said "take this ruler and draw new Chevy with it". Surprising to see the '63 has "European" looking windshield wipers, resting to one side, not opposite to each other. (Yes I know the difference in wipe area these make, seen it carefully laid out in some brochure).
@@IowaClassicCars Oh, now I gotta rewatch ! Was wondering if the damn thing arrived, or managed to drown in the ocean or get lost in New World. Our glorious National Mail doesn't support tracking registered post outside of our borders.
Mate, you can have that cold weather. Some Canadians I used to work with in the oil fields told me some horror stories about the cold. Nice Impala doesn’t look too bad, are you going to restore it ?
'64's. I've had at least one in my garage for almost 40 straight years and have two now - an SS and a 4-door hardtop. The steering wheel on a '63 Impala is better than the '64 steering wheel though.
@@IowaClassicCars I don't think the '64 Impala wheel looks cheap. To me it looks more formal like I'd expect on an Olds or a Buick to have and the '63's looks more like a sports car or hot rod would have.
Like you I’m a fan of the 59 but I prefer the 64 over the 63. My brother had a 64 SS black with red interior had buckets and a consul shift 2 speed it was a beautiful car. I believe it had a 283.
I honestly like all the impala’s from 58-80. 59 is probably the best. Out of the 63 and 64 I will take a 63 all day long. I can’t stand what Chevrolet did to the taillights in 66. I would love to have a 69 big block with hideaway headlights.
Felix the cat, the wonderful, wonderful cat! Great 64 Ryan. I totally agree with you about the '60 Chevy's. The '59's are the best! But GM felt the '60's needed a little calming down so they squared the car a bit. The average person don't know the difference. I get asked all the time when I show my Belair. And I have original 1959 plates on her. Lol. Was the lot, that you bought this '64 from, all picked over of its '59's? Hey did you happen to catch Howard's video where he mentioned you and me? I went right out and checked the old girl and answered his question. Looking forward to more videos.
I like the 64 Galaxie better. Oh wait. Just kidding. Got a Ford guy here. I actually like the 63 Impala styling better. Had a friend with a 63 Impala SS back in the day. Black with a red interior. Beautiful car.
Well seeing as they are both beauties it's impossible to tell. I will say this I'm not too big on the patina craze. It's ok but to me ya may as well slam "em ,bag "em rat rod city lol I'd go with stock colors myself but hey, get it glazed over with some patina sauce and have at it!
I wud rather have the 63 being that I owned 3 64's but out of those 2 I guess I would rather have the 64 only bcuz no post 4 door but if both were hard tops I go with the 63
Love the black&white cats, they got so much soul! 🥰😻😻😻
he sure does!
63 body style is one of my favorite cars. I will always argue that the 65 chevy body is one of the best Chevy designs.
i agree, right behind a 59
Had a 64 Impala 4 dr hardtop in college. Dark blue, 327 AT, fact. A/C and power windows, I traded it for a 64 GTO post coupe.
It's video's like this that make me glad I live where it doesn't snow.
nice man i dont blame you on the cold lol
It's great to see you getting so excited about these cars! I'm glad to see someone like you saving these great old cars.
Thanks Ron!

Thanks for all your hard work Mikey!
all he does is work!
You can't go wrong with the '64 that you rescued. I like it. I can't restore a car. I would love to. Someday, hopefully!
I love the 64!! I own a 64 same body style and owned for about 23 years now and am the 2nd owner of it. She's my baby. Love four door hardtops and wagons. Can't wait to see what you do with yours.
Right on!
Yeahp 4 door hardtops. Are the best. I prefer pillarless though. Man they are one beautiful ride💙💙💙
Hey Ryan 63 and 64 impalas are my favorite. I can't wait to see what happens with them. Thank you for sharing 🙏
thanks for watching
I like both but the 64 would be my pick, always good to see Felix such a lovable fella. Till next time my Friend 👍
oh yeah hes a good boy

Mr. B. Here ! I did not know Oldsmobiles could fly ! LOL!
Great rescue, like 63s had two of them , never cared for 64 to boxey looking.
I like the 1966 caprice. I had one in high school that was a two door with 396 and automatic, maroon with black top and tan interior. I paid $500 for it in 1973. Keep up the great work!
he had a loaded one there that was nice i shoulda filmed
I prefer the '63, but like them both...
An uncle of mine had bought a new '63 Impala SS, 327, white over gold. Beautiful car!!!
Thanks for sharing!
I've always liked the 63 better but the older I get the more I appreciate the 64
I don't know buy I like the 63 better than the 64 thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
If I had the money, man I'd buy that from you. It looks great. Right Amount of Doors. Wonder what part of the world it'll be going to. Great video.
thanks William!

yes it had English lic plates
Yep, I have one in my Matchbox collection.
nice thanks for the info
If I had to choose, I’d say the 64.
That pillarless 64 oh man💙💙💙

You should get that red 67 riv. That would be a cool project
its missing alot sadly
64 Chevy Impala, belaire, Biscayne,2 or 4r are sweet cars especially, also like the 65-67 Pontiac tempest, lemans, Catalina
Hey Ryan, that's a good trade! I like '64's but 59's are the ones for me always!
Right on!
But it's still not a 62 Impala love what you do have a great day man
Should grab the 63 impala wagon, when I was in high schoool (62 - 65) I saw on on a Chevy used car lot with a V-8 and (yes) a 4 speed and bucket seats ( a SS ?) red over black interior! WOW!
i think we are going to next time

Be careful getting underneath, nice score
Very nice car and make it original itsworthmore
You're very welcome anytime man I love what you do on your show

i wont but ill find someone who will
I had a 63 SS 327 which my father sold when I went into the service. Sure wish I had that car now.
Great rescue
thanks!
I know someone who is looking for the rear window tracks for an Impala two door ‘59 - ‘60. I think other GM parts may fit.
61 bubbletop is my favorite
I agree with Felix, I do like the body curves of the 63 and it's looking a little better shape than the 64
Mr. B ! Really nice stuff in that yard .
thanks for watching!
Great content as usual, real cool looking cars
Thanks man!
Can't wait to see you pop Mikey's cherry!
lmaooooo

Awesome job

63 and 62. Wanted a 61 too, but not enough space. 63-64 doors/glass are similar. Same with 61-62.
(If I had a 64 it would have to be a Chevelle)
Like you I’m a fan of the 59 but I prefer the 64 over the 63. My brother had a 64 SS black with red interior had buckets and a consul shift 2 speed it was a beautiful car. I believe it had a 283.
good choices!
1959, I'd say, has way more class than all of them
100%
My Dad had one. Someday, I'll have one
i like old chevys.
63, but I'm with you with the 59
right on!
I think the 62's are the best looking.. But I would take a 63 or 64 as well. Regards from Ody Slim
