    GMS is the one i use the least but I have a feeling it will get some love very soon. Great video. FL Studio really does have the best user base!

    • @mfplayergeometrydash6688
      @mfplayergeometrydash6688 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, GMS is definetely underestimated. I use it a ton and I do feel like it's just a "drawn back" version of Sylenth1. With the right amount of tweaking and sound design knowledge you can basically achieve a sound as clean as the most popular VSTs like Sylenth1, Spire and Serum.

    I was gonna upgrade from the producer to signature edition. I actually decided to just go all the way. Really didn't need to but don't regret it. Many of those plugins are highly underutilized. Toxic Biohazard and Sakura are beasts. I know I couldn't just made melodies and exported them but it's nice to not have to do that. Figured I may as well get it while it's still fairly cheap. Right not the all plugin bundle is only 500. 2 months ago it was only 400. Either way it's a steal for all you get. Now I have the MPC X, MPC ONE and the full all plugin bundle in FL. Now I need to figure out how I wanna merge FL and MPC together. I'm thinking the best way would be to use MPC in FL as a plug-in, but I guess it doesn't really matter. My main reason for coming back to FL was the ease of doing things while mixing. That and I missed a lot of the features in FL. Still keeping my MPCs and don't regret getting them. But I do wish I would've bought FL first.

      Glad you're still making music either way! Hope all is well. Have fun with the full version of FL. I think it's worth it with the sale price.

    I used gms in everything when I was first starting out. Really not a big fan. But if it’s all you got it can be fun. The last patche you made with it sounded really good.

      David Hodgin yeah it’s just a good starting point since it comes with the daw. I recommend investing in 3rd party plugins unless you’re willing to learn/enjoy sound design.

    How do you load the presets into directwave? That part was cut out from your video. I’m on Mac, and I can drag and drop individual samples from the packs but it only loads that single sample and not the others. Please help!

    • @Inflightmuzik
      @Inflightmuzik  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      World Traveller go to packs and instruments to load the full instruments. You’re loading samples from the legacy folder instead I think

    @InflightMuzik I use your template, but what is the purpose of the WAV mixer channel?

    • @Inflightmuzik
      @Inflightmuzik  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's the where you add your master FX. You leave the master track empty. That way you can play reference tracks in your project that run through the master and compare them to your master from your WAV track. Also, this allows you to route your tag to the master track. Now when you export you will have the tagged version (master track) and untagged (wav track) when you export stems/trackouts. If you ever run into your tag causing clipping on the master you can always just add a soft clipper at default setting on the master. This should keep the tagged version from clipping and won't change the sound really at all as long as your tag isn't crazy loud. And you'll still have the untagged WAV version which won't have the soft clipper processing on it.
      Another thing I like to do is add any loudness monitoring plugins on the master track to compare my reference tracks to my WAV mastered track. That pretty much covers all of the reasons I do it. But there is also the added benefit of comparing two versions of your master. You can add master FX on both tracks and just use the FX on/off button at the bottom of each track to compare the two versions.
      So in the end you'll have your tagged master, untagged wav master, and unmasterted mix from the mix bus. That's every file you'll ever need all in one export.

    I noticed you are using the gross beat trial version, what’s your work around to use it for free like that without interruption?

    • @Inflightmuzik
      @Inflightmuzik  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ibrahim I have a sample loop tutorial where I show how I used to do halftime without gross beat. But now I own halftime plugin now so I just use that. But if you still want to use gross beat for its other fix, just render it to wav when you use it. I’ve literally only used gross beat once in my life haha.

    • @ibrahim47x
      @ibrahim47x 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      InflightMuzik Thanks fo the info! That’s helpful, I’ll definitely try that. I find all the other presets other than the halftime preset to be useful as well as the halftime preset, crazy stuff appears in melodies with time manipulation. Gross beat is also a lovely shortcut to a lot of automations.
      I’ll definitely check out your sample loop tutorial as well, your videos are packed with good stuff! Keep it up man.
