FL Studio Tips Respect 😂 this video was super helpful. I’ve been needing a vinyl effect and a mastering tool for a minute and I didn’t know where to go. Thanks man
close enough :D I've noticed that there are plugins wich I use a lot I mean ALOT like every single time in the end of chain sometimes twice in one chain so I can imagine how much can it be "a lot" xD
@@theMixElite Lol. Yo you might have a couple of hiccups with the language, but your explanations are 100%. I was able to understand the concept quickly. It's a shame you only do FL tutorials.
Dude you're a God!!! Every other producer just kept ranting about plugins that everyone uses. You're able select something that beginners producers need to get their mixing done properly. Thank you
I've been making music casually for the past 6 years or so and I have to say, you have by far the best tips I've ever come across. Half the time people just keep repeating the same concepts, recycling knowledge and what not but this stuff you put out is genuinely new to me and I've been on fl studio the whole time. Put it on me being lazy and not seeking out the information or whatever but still, very impressive!
Agreed! Also, FL comes with so many great instruments that we wanted to keep this video fx/processing focused. But processing is a big part of making great sounding instruments :) P.S. Video about instruments, creating & creative processing coming soon!
I was actually surprised to find some of these already on my computer. I'll keep this video as a reminder of what's in my toolbox that I don't even know about.
Several of those were new to me and now I want to try them, especially that transient shaper. Thanks for the heads up! edit: I'd never appreciated the fact that sidechain compression of bass parts does more than just control the peaks when kick and bass overlap... avoiding phase cancellation is a benefit as you mention. Seeing those phasey-looking waveforms on the s(M)exoscope make it so apparent when there's too much overlap.
I just found your page in 2022 and I subscribed right away after the I realized that your reviews are on fire with informative information. Thanks so much for sharing the knowledge!
TDR Nova is absolutely fantastic and the quality for a free product is amazing . Most of Tokyo Dawn’s products are great. Kotelnikov is another great free compressor from them. 👍
i've always used mainly stock plugins. as soon as you learn how to link controllers and automation to controls there's little that can stop you from doing what external VSTs can offer, especially in dynamics.
This video would not have been complete without Patcher. Such a powerful tool and one of my favorite plugins to use for sound design. Throw a couple built-in plugins from FL Studio (FL Keys + Flex), route through individual EQs, route Keys through a Fruity Convolver reverb, route Flex through some Gross Beat....and you have something comparable to Omnisphere.
Oh my days! I finally found out why I couldn't hear the synth on one of my tracks from 8 years ago was all to do with my misuse of the stereo enhancer! Thank you!
Glad I came across this.Great explanation. Some of the plugins,I already have but did not know the full potential of what they can do.You earned my subscription for sure.
Really excellent plugins. Thanks for making this video. I was already in love with TDR Nova. Happy to see it here in the list. You did a really great job, I wasn't really aware that so much is possible with these free plugins.
Great video! The quality standard is so high, it amazes me. The tips you gave were very helpful as well and I am sure there's something in it for everybody. 🔥
Dimension expander is also very good ... If you widen a mono signal using dimension expander and then again pass it through a mono channel you get back the original mono signal ...
absolutely fantastic free compressor that is great on acoustic drums is Blockfish. it gets overlooked a lot because it's one of those free plugins from a company that only has 3 or 4 plugins, and if you don't use it in "complex mode" it doesn't sound nearly as good.
0:48 I don't know if it differs by editions of FL, but I believe there is a Pitcher plugin that handles autotune. I prefer the 3rd party plugins to it anyway.
It's instruments I need, I have all the FX I'll ever use. Free Pianos, Brass, Strings, Drums, Bass, especially an Electric Guitar VST that sounds realistic, like if an actual guitarist was playing, that would be really good.
Nice. Subscriber gained. So, I vote for a mid-side eq video. So what to look for, why and when it is useful etc because I have not really grasp this yet.
All your Tips guys....🙌🏾🙌🏾✨ We can just say : THANK YOU!!! show us some more about side-chaining/rendering vocals into signals to make those fit better with the track. That technic is soo sickkk..
This is a great video. So i went and got Nova, Span, and couture. I did not know of any good, free, dynamic eq's or transient shaper and I really did not want to spend any money on the iZotope EQ right now. Thank you, sir!
Maxwell Smart v3 is the best free maximizer + true peak limiter by far. Sounds great and is super easy to use. Definitely one of the top 3 most essential 3rd party plugins I have along with Span and Loudnessmeter.
“I can’t imagine why people are sometimes not using it a lot”
*Speech: 100*
That's just how I am haha

PanCake!!!
All my vsts are free😉
CamelCrusher? OTT? Helm?
Noice
fl keys
I would spend all day watching your videos, they are just great! I discovered things that I didn't even know, thanks seriously thanks! ahah
Thank you! :)
I love how you’re showing us these plugins while walking through a song. Great work
The way you make all of them look soo cool and high end makes it look soo cool
Spitfire Audio Labs is the best freebie, closely followed by Cherry Audio Voltage Modular and Komplete Start
Agreed! Also, FL comes with so many great instruments that we wanted to keep this video fx/processing focused. But processing is a big part of making great sounding instruments :)
P.S. Video about instruments, creating & creative processing coming soon!
i love spitfire. have to check out thecherry audio
whats Voltage Modular like?
I used to use labs all the time on my old computer but I installed it on my macbook and it keeps crashing.
@@terisladwin5337 ikr, how is this even sustainable in a business perspective.
love your channel 😘
Can you tell me about the volume on TH-cam?
How do I make it high?

your tutorials are trulyamazing, i cant believe it only has 6k views now. you deserve mils.
1:35 where is that video?
Immediately recognized Davie's voice and supreme bass lines and playing
I appreciated the use of the lick in the intro
I was actually surprised to find some of these already on my computer. I'll keep this video as a reminder of what's in my toolbox that I don't even know about.
Definitely need all of these
The stereo enhancer issue that you mentioned had been bothering me for a loooong time. You cleared my doubts in 2 minutes. Thanks a ton!
This is an absolutely fantastic list! There's so many extremely useful plugins that I would have thought I'd have to pay for.
Sure! We want a mid side video from you. You teach things in very interesting ways.
I love how your tutorials are actually Thanks so much Sir!
TDR NOVA, my go-to EQ for basically anything, there's so much stuff it can do.
I love that plugin.
Several of those were new to me and now I want to try them, especially that transient shaper. Thanks for the heads up!

Holy shit the transient shaper is amazing! I need to try this on a snare that doesn’t snap like I need it to on a rock track I’m working on
FL has stock plugin Transient Processor, much more better than Auburn Sounds
No WAY. People go on and on about instruments and effects, but this mixing stuff? Good quality vsts for that are hard to find. Thank you so much
Keep doing what you’re doing. You are awesome Max! Thank you
Mannnnn this is a blessing. Wow really. Such valuable plugs. Thank you for this. 🙏🏽
Wow thats a great tip 9:15
