Killed it with the stripes. I honestly thought you'd never finish this project, not only did you finish, the end product is impressive. The high spot so you can stand up is genius. Well done Ryan!
This is the definition of van camping life, experiment, adapt, prevail, and live, it's a beautiful art, I also watch another content creator his name is mav, his v'w bug is absolutely hilarious, just like your Japanese truck, this is some righteous content, living on the edge!!!!!!!!
would be epic to see ryan and mav camping in their unconventional vehicles together! maybe mav can help ryan catch and cook a fish for once XD no hard feelings ryan i've been fishing so much alone and never caught anything sometimes you just need someone to show you what you're doing wrong.
“I’m used to having full fridge, full pantry…” 😂 This man has truly embraced his van and the now it’s considered full size compared to the new Japanese build. Love the stripes on it. Said, “Sick stripes!” As soon as I saw them. Very 70’s. Really bring h his truck to life.
Hi Ryan. My boyfriend, myself and the kids were at Morro Bay yesterday and we saw your new ride. We were hoping to run into you. Maybe next time. Hello from Fresno,Ca!!!
That moment when the trucks pass you on the highway and you feel the sway has to be an adrenaline rush mixed with a "nah, let's not do that again." Just rad you made it through, Ryan! 👍
Great video, my man. My wife is normally not big on vanlife type videos but she absolutely loooves your tiny kei camper so she will without a doubt watch every single video you put out featuring this little guy.
Greetings from Poland. I have been following your channel for some time and I must admit that it is very inspiring in many aspects of life, even for someone who does not live in Van on a daily basis. It's a great pleasure to watch your videos while having breakfast before going to my regular office work. Cruising the USA like you do is my dream.
I love that drive up the coast. Have driven it from home in Los Angeles to San Francisco several times. Looking forward to sharing the journey with you. Love those new paint stripes too.
Blows my mind you had your car door up and lock3d your doors. You took me right back to 1987 when I got my first Austin metro and mum and dad taught me to look after myself, safely in England!
Ton of wall space behind your countertop. Great space for a spice rack, hanging cooking utensils, etc. Anything hanging on the wall keeps it off the floor, I try to make great use of all my wall space in my converted cargo trailer
Thank you for the info on the chest style fridge. I did not know that, and I'm currently planning a build for a DIY teardrop/toy hauler. The camper itself will maybe be big enough to haul an electric bike or maybe a small go-kart in, but also potentially big enough to sleep three if said bike or go-kart is not inside the trailer. Knowing that I need to factor in putting a chest style fridge instead of a stand-up style will help me immensely with the planning.
congrats on finishing the project. one clear advantage is how well it fits into tight parking spots. hopefully one day we’ll get to hear your thoughts on the adv & disads compared to the sprinter. it really looks quite roomy inside. i guess one would quickly adapt to the new layout. amazing to have those battery/solar modcons.
I'm curious to watch the future video on how you'll drive from Ventura through most of Santa Barbara county because it's entirely the 101 freeway northbound. Plan B would be to drive in the wee early morning hours to avoid the regular daytime traffic on the 101. Good luck Ryan and stay safe.
Back in ‘77 my motor home had a steering stabilizer, a safety plus. Have installed similar on all vehicles since including my ‘76 Toyota Chinook. Never was bothered by passing trucks including Sami’s, also solved the little steering problem when tire blew off and passed me at 70 mph, cracked lug nuts. You will also need to practice holding handle u while closing door, you left side door unlocked at beach.
I've fitted out a Mitsubishi Express (quite similar to the Mitsubishi Delica) back in Australia. With two people it was definietly cozy but quite enough space. And it had the 2.5l with 84kw, so quite managable trough the outback. Your van is on another level of micro-camping. But love this series, keep up the great work!
Right as I was questioning his choice to drive on the highway he addressed it. I currently drive a compact car, and avoid the highway at all costs. People's driving is trash.
I dunno what it is but it's pretty interesting seeing you in this tiny camper. I'm actually liking this series man. More episodes with this mini truck I'm really liking it. 😊
This is honestly so awesome! Makes me want to build a Kei truck, personally I would put like a Honda D16 motor in it, 1 more cylinder and also like 115 horse power so it’ll be able to do high way speeds no problem
I have learnt to try all the equipment at home, as well as to check if I have taken everything with me. Too many times it has happened to me to forget equipment. Must be fun to travel with this beautiful tiny campervan.
Had to see what yours looked like on the inside. We just bought a Mitsubishi Pajero iO ZR 4x4. Also a right hand side drive vehicle. This truck camper is awesome!
Ryan, I have an idea for spices and stuff in your kitchen area. If that rack over the counter top is reinforced enough, you can attach bottles for spices to the bottom by drilling bottle caps to that and use em as a holder for bottles with spices and other stuff for cooking. That way you'll be able to twist off the bottle you need when you're cooking, they'll not be taking space in kitchen drawers, that'll look cool and unique, and those will not block the light, the opposite, they'll be lighted by the strip in a very cool way. Not my idea originally, I saw people did that in their builds, it's pretty sick.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great video. Ryan, did you know that Walmart sells drink holders for vehicles & they aren't expensive. BTW, the multi-color stripes on the Japanese truck gives me a retro-vibe, like totally GROOVY MAN!
Not to get you paranoid but those mini trucks have no anti theft devices and they are suier easy to hot wire, maybe a steering lock for when you leave the truck unattended 😊
Get yourself a neck fan. I bought 2 off Amazon. A cheap 10$ one and a 20$ one. They were exactly the same. Once charged on level2 will last for three days. I hate heat. I'm a sweater. I love these. I set them next to me one blowing in my face and bend the other way down. Love them
I'm sure someone has already said this somewhere in the comments but I have this stove and I like it but it runs on Isobutane, which I know you already have figured out by now. I did buy a propane adapter for mine but haven't used it yet. Love the videos.
Pretty cool seeing what you can do with a small space and some ingenuity. I think most people would want a little more space and power than the Kei truck provides but it at least looks like you can use it for trips in reasonable comfort (assuming the correct propane attachment). The lack of bathroom facilities seems to be the biggest issue of the build in my eyes.
a custom egg holder that fits nicely could go along way in fitting more stuff through efficient use of space, which you already know a lot about with this camper obviously
I just watched my first video of yours where you went to slab city. I just have to say that your van is absolutely amazing. I heard what you said about peoples comments that you gained weight, it doesn’t matter what you do on any type of media people just tend to just be mean. I think you look fantastic and your beef bacon taco bowl looked delicious.
I dont know what you had plans with the over cab part but I would of put doors or a lip to hold stuff up there so you can hold dry good and stuff above not heavy thought
Yooooo! No way you stayed in that area for the first video of the road-trip, I work for that beach city and recognized everything. I wish I could have ran into you and taken a pic 😅. That lady you bought the drawing from is a local that just sells multiple of her drawings. Sweet older lady. It’s a trip to have missed you by just a smidge. Happy travels Ryan! ☺️🫡
Killed it with the stripes. I honestly thought you'd never finish this project, not only did you finish, the end product is impressive. The high spot so you can stand up is genius. Well done Ryan!
Since you did small camper van you should do extra big camper van next with all accessories and luxury
Yuck no!
@@BrittMFH gonna be awesome to convert from tiny to luxury
@@fidoutigerfahd3902 he'd never be able to go further east than Colorado. And it'd be too big for most of the national parks.
Or buy a house and yank it off the foundations and wheels. The reverse basically.
rent an earth roamer for the next video 😂 that monster is like $1.1 million

lol, reminds me of the Top Gear episode where Jeremy builds his three-story Citroen campervan.
Great video, my man. My wife is normally not big on vanlife type videos but she absolutely loooves your tiny kei camper so she will without a doubt watch every single video you put out featuring this little guy.
Happy wife, happy life 👍
Bonus points for that huge step up with the pizza and not spilling the ranch!

Pray for your health, safety, and well-being always. Definitely prefer you in a camper with more room. I trust your driving, not others on the road.
You just said my mind 😅
No prayer
Blows my mind you had your car door up and lock3d your doors. You took me right back to 1987 when I got my first Austin metro and mum and dad taught me to look after myself, safely in England!
Held*
Absolutely love your videos Ryan. We wish you continued success!
it is funny seeing you drive on our side of the car on the wrong side of the road. Love it Ryan, enjoy.
Ryan 👑 you're a friggin' genius them for adding retro-vibes colored stripes on the cutesy teeny-weeny van camper! 💎✨👍☺️
Ton of wall space behind your countertop. Great space for a spice rack, hanging cooking utensils, etc. Anything hanging on the wall keeps it off the floor, I try to make great use of all my wall space in my converted cargo trailer

Another brilliant video from you Bryan. Your camper is unusual and has more to offer than you’d initially think. Thanks for
posting.

He's back! Psyched for this Kei truck trip; can't wait to watch.
The striping on the camper looks sick - kudos on the Mitsu hommage. Find it interesting as you work out the kinks in this new build.

HYPED on the paint job!

Good to see you back on the road Ryan! hope you're doing well and safe driving!
LOL…I’m 57, so the ‘lock and hold handle’, has me cracking up. We are 90% complete with our Sprinter conversion, so I learn from you. Thank you.
The stove you bought takes Isobutane Fuel or butane in the small cans camping fuel. You need an adapter for the normal camp propane bottle you have
Right as I was questioning his choice to drive on the highway he addressed it. I currently drive a compact car, and avoid the highway at all costs. People's driving is trash.
New trick I learned….🤣 Brother that was my whole childhood.
😅 Right?
Facts 😂
I aged a decade when I heard that
We’re officially elderly
I dunno what it is but it's pretty interesting seeing you in this tiny camper. I'm actually liking this series man. More episodes with this mini truck I'm really liking it. 😊
Ryan, that is the coolest build I've seen in a long time. Better than you would get in a Japanese Hotel Pod!
This is honestly so awesome! Makes me want to build a Kei truck, personally I would put like a Honda D16 motor in it, 1 more cylinder and also like 115 horse power so it’ll be able to do high way speeds no problem
Your Kei look amazing! I love the updates to the inside. Always need plants. Cannot wait for more roadtrip videos!
The new decals look sick! Loving the content Ryan 👍

1:00 Ahhhh, Mitsubishi Delicia, the queen of Georgian roads. Georgia, the one in Europe 🙂
You need isobutane cans, like a Jetboil uses for that stove.. Walmart has them.
hype for the new experiences bro, have fun!
Love the mini truck Ryan! My dream camper build!!

Ryan's back! This is exciting. Can't wait to watch.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great video. Ryan, did you know that Walmart sells drink holders for vehicles & they aren't expensive. BTW, the multi-color stripes on the Japanese truck gives me a retro-vibe, like totally GROOVY MAN!
Thanks for the inspiration going to on my 40th birthday trip camping up the hwy 1 coast. With my 5 year old daughter! Keep up the great work bro!
Love the new mini-camper. My knees cry every time you step in and out of the rear of that thing. Save those pizza boxes and build a step! :)
Not to get you paranoid but those mini trucks have no anti theft devices and they are suier easy to hot wire, maybe a steering lock for when you leave the truck unattended 😊
The small footprint of the keitora in that parking spot (in comparison to other cars) makes it such a win! If it fits, it sits 🙂
Can't beat laguna beach dude! Always a good vibe there!
Genuine highlight of the week these videos. Greetings from UK!
I love the build. I have a 95 minicab that I always wanted to build a camper on. Keep it up brother!
I just bought a kei truck, like literally today I paid for it; it should be delivered to my house in the next few days. Im intrigued by this camper.
I’m so happy you are taking this trip. Awesome!!
Love them
Love the stripes. Nice retro look. Glad you’re back on the road. Safe travels❤
You'll have to get yourself a little step for the back of the van... sending warm vibes from Ireland ✨🕊️☘️
I enjoyed this video. Enjoy summer Ryan ⛱️
I'm sure someone has already said this somewhere in the comments but I have this stove and I like it but it runs on Isobutane, which I know you already have figured out by now. I did buy a propane adapter for mine but haven't used it yet. Love the videos.
love the detailing where the lines meet. very cool
ive gone to that beach all the time as a kid and seeing you make a video there made my day!
I love it! Those stripes really tie the room together.
That paint is sick great job bro!!!
The mini looks awesome! And you have the best luck with parking spots!
you might think about getting an air matress to put on top of your bed, since it could easily be deflated if you needed the space
The little van camper that could... 🥰
You did a great job on the paint lines.
I love that I can see the road from the back window when your talking to us lol
Love the paint stripes! Looks sick!
Love the go faster stripes!!! It is so cute!
I have to admit those stripes on the side are sweet ! Safe Travels Amigo👊
Gah this thing is cool. You should be beyond proud of what you’ve built. Love seeing it put to use!
Loved the small Camper its really cool❤❤
What a cool little rig! And what a great little road trip up there CA coast 🤙🏽 can’t wait for the next videos
The build is growing on me with each videos.
Pretty cool seeing what you can do with a small space and some ingenuity. the goat has posted !!
Phenomenal video. I love watching your journeys. Inspiring me to buy a camper truck with my wife and daughter and we can do a trip round Europe.
I saw a truck just like yours where I live in NJ I would had never thought I will see a truck like yours. You still have one of a kind though. 😊
your editing is getting better, dude! what a rad life you're living.
a custom egg holder that fits nicely could go along way in fitting more stuff through efficient use of space, which you already know a lot about with this camper obviously
I like the strip of the decals on your mini truck. it is so cool

Greetings from Redondo Beach 🇺🇸🇺🇸Nice camping van video🌷🌷
Looking forward to this one Ryan! Nice work sir!
ryan you should install an rv step that slides in and out for the back to make it easier to get in and out of
I dont know what you had plans with the over cab part but I would of put doors or a lip to hold stuff up there so you can hold dry good and stuff above not heavy thought
Been waiting for this video :)
I would for sure tint the windows would make it cooler block some of the sun
the mini Japanese truck so nice I love his video so much very the view of the ocean and beaches😊
I would love to see a camping with Steve collab. That man needs friends like you dude.
Happy Monday Ryan
I’d go back to the van in a heartbeat, js. Be safe bro
Your camper looks amazing. Well done!
I think Route 1 is one of the best route to go car camping with the lots of beautiful beach down pacific coast line
I love your honesty!
so sick hahah, paint job is sweet!!
Great video brother! We can’t wait to make it out to California 🙌🏽
Yooooo! No way you stayed in that area for the first video of the road-trip, I work for that beach city and recognized everything. I wish I could have ran into you and taken a pic 😅. Love the racing stripes 😂❤😎
You should totally check out some of the camp spots in Oregon, It's beautiful out there!
