    This is the best serum I have ever used. My skin has never been so clear I have struggled with acne for years. It’s soo good I have stopped using all of my other products. I have been using this twice a day with just moisturiser and its amazing.

    The best I don’t know but the most OVERPRICED for sure since aloe vera is extremely cheap and N-Acetyl Glucosamine is sold by kg as an affordable nutritional supplement. I use these ingredients and that’s why I was shocked by the price point when I received the email describing this release. I was like « oh no they did it again ». They really take consumers for cash cows. Ok there is also a peptide but honestly I would much rather continue to use azelaic acid.

    I became attracted to The Ordinary products because of hyperpigmentation. Glycolic acid toning solution, Lactic acid, Alpha arbutin, retinol, salicylic acid, acid ascorbic+alpha arbutin, argelire. Now people commend my face but I don't want to buy all again but don't know which one affected my face. I am in Africa with all the sun and an African with a fair complexion. Can you recommend the best products I can continue using for hyperpigmentation?

  • @lauraanderson8785
    @lauraanderson8785 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I've got a lot of post-acne marks currently, before Alpha Arbutin 2% worked wonders, but I didn't want to overdo it with that so when I developed more marks I decided to try this serum out. I didn't see results with it, but the bottle is almost empty so I'll just use it up and return to my trusted Alpha Arbutin 😆

    I did purchase 3 weeks ago. Soothing not much of a change yet. Still figuring out how to fit in. I've been using every other night with no actives other than my multi peptide also by the ordinary. Wasn't sure if I could use with tretinoin hope you can clarify. I've been using tretinoin with the alpha arbutin every night. With this new product seems you can only use by itself but not sure

    Hi Rob! Could you recommend the best product for hyperpigmentation (sun spots)?? I get a lot around my upper lip and can't seem to get them to fade away. But I have no acne scars.
    (I'm using, as you recommended in another video:
    -Hylamide - SubQ Skin
    -The Ordinary - Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate Solution 20% in Vitamin F
    -The Ordinary - Glucoside Foaming Cleanser
    -The Ordinary - Marine Hyaluronics
    And I'm really happy!) Thanks for your videos and honest reviews!!

    Looking at the ingredients and hearing your results, I am curious whether this really does anything that a good centella buffet serum with 2% niacinamide doesn't do.
    Raw aloe is so cheap, though - it can achieve quite a bit just on its own. I use it to dilute a 10% aloe serum down to 4%. Aloe, niacinamide and peptides will do everything you mention this actually achieved...
    It's also kind of funny - aloe is perhaps the one classic strong anti-inflammatory matrix metalloproteinase 9 inhibitor that's already commonly used in Western skincare. It's like they joined the K beauty party a bit late. 😅
    ... Kinda glad it's not amazing, as I don't personally buy The Ordinary due to the parent company being L'Oréal - nasty animal testers.
