Thank you, i was diagnosed quite a few years ago with diabetes. i have only recently been put on Metformin and Ozempic. Since I started using these drugs I have suffered from reflux and diarrhea. It is not all the time but it is regularly. My doctor tells me my body will get used to the medication, hoping that it doesn't take too long.
My Dr. told me I would get use to Metformin, too....after 3 years of constant er visits, hospital stays and my dr. increasing my Metformin until it "works". My doctor is no longer a doctor in my state and tests showed that I am allergic to Metformin...get a second opinion...don't lose almost 3 years of your life, as I did.

Thank you, very informative. I've just recently got off from something similar to this, i am still trying to research the cause of my illness. A lot of these information seems about right, i have already seen my doctor a few days before the incident. Would a Gastroenterologists be better suited to find out?
